I highly recommend Reda Auto Port if you are looking for a used car. We had a great experience working with Kenny. His prices are fair and he is very pleasant to work with. Before purchasing the car we were able to take it to a mechanic to have it checked out and there were no issues found. The whole used car buying experience with him was very straightforward and hassle free. The car has run great and we haven't had any issues since purchasing it 5 months ago. I have recommended him to my friends as well.

UPDATE: Dec 2023This is now my third time buying a car from Kenny and I would say I am a very satisfied customer! Kenny was easy to work with and willing to go above and beyond to make it a good experience buying a car there. When we are looking to buy another used vehicle, will definitely come back to Kenny! Thanks again Kenny!Previous Review (2012/3):Reda Auto Port is where I bought my car. I found just the car I wanted at just the right price. Though I had initial problems with the car (check engine popped on the second day I had the car), Kenny was VERY helpful in fixing everything without charging me anything above what I had already paid for the vehicle. Kenny went above and beyond to help out and spent well over $500 in parts and labor to fix the problem associated with the Check Engine Light and make sure that I was happy with my purchase. If you are looking for a good deal with a very helpful dealer, go to Reda Auto Port and see Kenny.UPDATE: 2013 My wife and I bought a second used car this year from Kenny at Reda Auto Port. We have received excellent service both times and both of our vehicles are running excellently. Once again, I had an issue with the car that I was not sure about after I bought it and I brought it in and Kenny personally opened the hood and spent an hour fixing the minor glitch. Now I am VERY pleaseed. Great service! Thanks Kenny!!!

We bought a 2007 Infiniti G35 from Reda for my son. Immediately offered a test drive. Was willing to talk on price. Offered a 500 mile warranty period. After a flat tire we discovered the CV joint was leaking. I called Keni up and he said bring it in. Within 15 minutes of arriving the car was pulled into the shop, lifted up, new part arrived and work started. Was out of there in three hours. Keni is very genuine and puts the customer first.

I bought a Subaru 2010 for my son. I had the best experience ever buying a car. The owner was very friendly and took all the time to answer my questions. In a few minutes I felt like I knew Kenny for so long. Good prices and really nice cars. I definitely recommend this dealer and I'll definitely go back there for my next car.

I bought a used 09 Subaru Legacy with 106k miles from this dealership back in April 2020. And after the last 7 months with the car, here was my experience:The only good thing about that place is that the staff are friendly, and easy going as far as letting you test drive the cars (The guy let me test drive it on my own).But when it comes to the actual car, it has been a frustrating experience. There were plenty of things wrong with the car (like a bad battery days after purchase), but here are the 2 biggest problems I had.1- I was sold the car with NO Engine Coolant. This could cause the car to overheat or the engine to blow, especially in the summer. I know that the car doesn't leak coolant, because once I filled it up, the coolant level remained the same for months.2- I was sold the car with cracked tires, while the owner told me they were in good condition and there's no need to replace them.The issue with the 2 problems above is that they are not just inconveniences, they are a direct safety hazard to the driver and passengers. Imagine driving on the highway in the summer and suddenly you are stranded because your engine overheats? Or worse, your engine blows up altogether while driving and possibly starting a fire?Take this as a warning, do not buy from this dealership because they are negligent, and dishonest.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------April 4th, 2024 Update:It has been a couple years since this incident and I saw recently that the owner has responded to my original review above. So here is my updateFirst, I have revised the original review to include only the items that were seriously wrong to emphasize the reason for this negative review.Here is why I was very upset, and if you put yourself in my shoes, you would be too.1- The coolant issue: I was sold the car with No Engine Coolant. The issue here is negligence. Any mechanic would be able to see this problem just by taking a quick look under the hood and inspecting the fluid levels. The coolant itself is only $20, so it wouldn't have been an expensive or time consuming fix. I didn't know enough about cars to check for this myself back then, and it was spotted later by a friend when they were checking the car out. Had they not done that, I could have very well ended up with a blown engine or worse.2- The cracked tires: I get it, tires are expensive. I am not upset I was sold a car with less than ideal tires. I was upset I was told that the tires were OK and that they were in good condition. Had the owner simply told me that I should change the tires sooner than later or before the winter (As this happened in April), this issue would have been resolved.Hopefully things are clearer now.

I had a great experience with this company. Kenny is very fair and so easy to work with. Very pleasant experience which I have not had with other car dealerships! The car I purchased was checked out by my long time mechanic and he said it was a good car and a fair price. I have had zero problems. And really am enjoying the car!

I highly recommend Reda Auto Port. I was referred here by a friend when I wanted my car checked before a trip. My husband (former mechanic) was shocked by the honest assessment Reda Auto Port gave of my vehicle. They only found one necessary repair which my husband already knew about and they took care of it for me quickly and at a fair price! Ended up postponing my trip then my AC went out. I brought it back to Kenny and his crew. They found the most economical way to repair an expensive part. I was confident in their work and headed to south with my new AC the day I picked it up. At over 100 degrees during most of my trip my car's AC was blowing cold and I was so happy! I have since been back for an oil change and new tires. I always feel taken care of not taken advantage of like other repair shops. Now I refer all my friends here to buy a car or have their vehicle repaired.

I purchased two used cars here and Ken the owner is such an honest kind trustworthy guy there to help if anything should arise. When you buy a used car you have to remember it s just that....a used car. Things can go wrong and many times do, but Ken was always there to help. Super happy with both cars and served their purpose each time. Highly recommend Reda Auto and is an exception to the rule in regards to feeling taken care of and not feeling like you re getting taken advantage of when buying a car new or used. Good people!

I ve bought a 2012 Lexus from this dealer. They are very courteous and honest. They will not try and sell you a car that is beyond your budget and are great with working out a fair price. If you find anything wrong with the car, Kenny is great about fixing it, even covering the costs for some of the replacement parts.I bring my cars to this shop for oil changes and tire rotations as well. They are always quick and do great work. If you aren t satisfied, Kenny will make sure everything is fixed.I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Reda Auto Port is the most honest and reliable place to buy or repair your car. I ve been going to them for years and have had nothing but great experiences. I bought a 2004 Toyota Camry with 144k miles and drove it straight to Florida! Yes, 144k miles getting 26+ Mpg and not one issue over a year later! Very trustworthy and I send all my family and friends to him.

Bought a Forester from Ken. It was in generally nice shape, but needed some paintwork on a fender. Ken promised to take care of it if we brought the car back later. We brought the car back later (having already paid him in full) and he actually did it- a nice job too! I was impressed by his honesty and would buy from him again.

This dealership is top notch!!! My husband surprised me with a BMW Z4 last summer. Kenny and his crew were so professional and accommodating the surprise for me. They even adorned the car with a big red bow! Which made it even sweeter When we picked up my car Kenny wasn t able to be there... but made a personal call to see if everything was good. Professional and personable service is what ( REDDA AUTO) will give you! Thank you so much for helping with the wonderful surprise!!!

Bought my car from here-pristine condition!Have taken it back for routine maintenance (like oil changes, tire rotation etc)--consistently quick, excellent and most importantly honest service!Highly reccommend for used cars and service! This guy LOVES cars and loves your car like it's his own.

We found Reda auto through a CARFAX ad for a 2006 Honda Element. So we took drive down from Libertyville and after meeting with Kenny we knew we were dealing with an honest and caring person. And that goes for the gentleman who worked on our car. . After a long search, I bought an 06 Outback from Reda Auto Port. Love the car and when it developed a small oil leak and we'll...long story it took a bad turn. Ken stepped up right away and took full responsibility and made the needed repairs and provided a loaner for me to drive.It is not often when you find a business that stands by the customer like this.Ken truly understands and demonstrates great customer service and goes the extra mile.Some say it is doing the right thing, I say he just does what is right!I would recommend Reda Auto Port to any family member or friend without hesitation.John McWilliams

Reda auto port is my number one choice when it comes car buying and maintenance. The staff are on top of things when it cones to vehicle care. I bought 5 vehicle from them in the last 10 years . It s a piece of mind to have a car that caries a license plate frame from Reda auto port .Kenny drove at 11 pm at night once to help my wife when she locked her keys in the car.

I have been a customer here for almost 5 years and I never had a reason to complain. The maintenance on my car has been performed very reliably and promptly everytime I have been here. Never been overcharged for anything or sold any unnecessary repairs like other shops do to run up the price.

One of best repairs shop I ever been to, I loved the owner he take very good care of the customer and very reasonable repair. Also I realized they are not only mechanic shop also they sale used cars, I would definitely come back if I'm planning to purchase another car or at least ask the owner for some advice. Great shop!!

I know this dealer for over 15 years they sell dependable cars they always stand behind what they sell. Honesty is number 1 priority for me when i am shopping for cars and these people earned it with their hard work. for a used vehicle i strongly recommend Reda Auto
