EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONAL SERVICEEd and Brad are friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Engine light came on and they quickly diagnosed the problem and were able to replace parts needed very quickly. Hands down the greatest shop I ve ever had work on any of my vehicles. My truck started spilling coolant everywhere and overheating a mile down the road, and they took me and my vehicle in within the hour. Quickly picked up the part and installed it, and even when it needed another part close to closing time, they lent me a vehicle and even brought me my truck back home. Absolutely top notch service and an extremely friendly staff. I can t recommend y all enough!

Always the best service and I TRUST them. They ve referred me a weld shop that could do a muffler repair for cheaper than they could. Ed s stayed past closing to fix power steering issues and get me back on the road. I would highly recommend EAC to be your car maintenance experts!

I brought my vehicle to them with several major issues. I received a loaner vehicle to drive to work while my car was in, and they found an initial issue that needed to be resolved from work done at another shop quickly. Very communicative. Thank you very much.

I came to Elmhurst Auto Care with hope that my vehicle would be fixed correctly & I would receive total honesty throughout the entire process. I am so very grateful that Mr. Ed Czajkowski was there to help me get started & work with me on getting every vehicle I've brought to Elmhurst Auto Care operating properly. I received discounts, warranties on their work, a loner car, timely service & vehicle technicians that know exactly what to detect is wrong, instead of guessing & don't really know the problem. Additionally, every vehicle I've brought to Elmhurst Auto Care has been car washed, prior to my vehicle being returned to me after being repaired. Brad and Ed are the absolute best. Honest and fair! We only bring our cars to them. Their lot is full of cars and trucks waiting for them because they are truthful and do excellent work. No questions asked, this is the best mechanic in the area. Ed is always there to answer questions and is extremely helpful. Finding a mechanic you can trust is crucial as they come with the misconception that they do work that is not necessary - this isn't the case with EAC. Completely trust everything they say and they treat you as a valued customer. My family comes here as well and I will continue to bring all 3 of my vehicles to Ed and his team. Great customer service and pricing as well. Look no further, call EAC!

I brought my car to Ed because my tire was losing pressure. He found the screws and sealed the holes within 30 minutes. The waiting area was very comfortable, stocked with coffee, sodas, and water. Even the bathroom was clean and smelled nice, which is atypical of most auto places I've visited. Ed is most professional and pleasant to deal with and I'll definitely be bringing future business back to him. Thanks for your wonderful service!Service: Tires

I first visited here simply because it was the closest shop to my house. I keep coming back for the outstanding service and the honest and helpful staff. They helped me scrap my old car for no charge and even scheduled a pickup from an auto wrecker at a better payout then I could find myself! I've recommended them to friends, even from out of town, and we've all had positive experiences!

Ed and his crew have performed several jobs on my old 2008 Camry. From replacing a bad engine, to an oil change, to replacing a bad wheel bearing, Ed and his mechanics are true professionals that I can truly rely on. I appreciate the work, the honesty, and the overall treatment. I can rely on these guys and will continue to have them service my old car so that one day my mini-me can take it to be serviced by Ed and company. Highly recommend Elmhurst Auto CareThey did excellent job fixing my Prius with proper parts and process (hybrids sometimes need to be fixed differently than gas cars and not every body shop knows this). I called several places for needed repair and they had the best price. Also, after I brought my car for an estimate they told me what to ask for and what to pay attention to if I decide to get it done somewhere else. Great team and Great experience!Ed is incredibly professional and took care of us quickly to get us back on the road. He had a tow truck service hall our company van back to his shop with in minutes of our phone conversation. He then diagnosed and replaced a starter motor to get us up and running. He showed me the part that he replaced which was pretty cool to see and explained what went bad. Absolutely the best in town. Been taking my cars for service here for over 20 years and always have been taken care of. Never feel like they are trying to sell you a bill of goods - they fix what needs to be fixed and recommend what may need to be addressed. They NEVER try to upsell any services. Glad I saw your sign while driving by. My 2009 Camry needed a decent amount of work done. Spark plugs, right axle, brake fluid and wheels alignment. Saw they had a 10% discount for Healthcare workers got me interested. Looked up Elmhurst auto care online and requested a quote. Ed gave me several quotes very quickly for the work my Camry needed. I dropped off my Camry at 8 am and the extensive work was done by 2 pm. Ed was professional and courteous and really enjoyed Elmhurst Auto Care. I would easily recommend Elmhurst Auto Care and will be returning in the future.Service: Wheel alignment

Needed an oil change and to have my car just looked over for a wellness check of sorts since moving to the area. Received thorough and honest feedback about my vehicle. I was given a few estimates for repairs that they recommended and how to save money on those repairs. The waiting area was very nice as well even though they did everything in a very reasonable amount of time so I did not have to stay long. Only good things to say!

Went in for a Pre Purchase Inspection for a used car on short notice and only had to wait 1 hour total for the inspection. Ed was very professional, articulate, and treated me with respect. He walked around the vehicle with me and pointed multiple issues with the car that the dealership did not disclose, and then gave me repair estimates I could use for negotiating. We came here for a used car evaluation from a local car dealer who wanted us to stay within a certain time limit and radius. Being from the north burbs we didn't know this shop, so all we could go by were the good reviews. Completely well-deserved! Based on the test drive and a close look at the interior Ed saw some red flags that he talked to us about before he put the car in the air, to save us the cost of inspection. We'd have gladly paid for the time he devoted but he wouldn't take anything for his expert opinion. If we end up buying around here we will not do so unless they look at it!

Brad and Ed are amazing! I used to take my 2005 Accord to one of those national stores where they did the oil change and I was on my way, but then I discovered Elmhurst Auto Care. For my simple oil change I got so much more in the way of counsel and advise on how to care for my car. They shared ideas and suggestions that will prolong the life of my car and help me when I decide I have to sell. Thanks guys for caring for your clients and their cars the way you do. Bob

This place is awesome! Especially Ed. He was professional and prompt. The prices are very reasonable. My car broke down about ten miles from the shop due to a part malfunction. Though it was nobody's fault, Elmhurst Auto Care paid to have my car towed back to the shop. Furthermore, they charged me nothing additional and had it fixed the next day. When I asked about buying an extra fuse in case of emergency, they just threw it in, on the house. While I'll pray it'll be a while before my car needs any additional repairs, I would recommend this place any time.Check 'em out!

EAC is fantastic! I have been bringing my high-mileage car there for the last 18 months for general maintenance, oil changes and repairs ever since they were able to properly diagnose and repair an issue that 3 other shops (including a dealership) couldn t. Pricing is fair and transparent, service is exceptional and my car is usually ready the same day. Ed always gives me options and honest recommendations and won t let me waste money on repairs he thinks are unnecessary. What a breath of fresh air! I have since referred friends and family and they ve had nothing but praise for EAC too.

I took my car into Elmhurst Auto Care because I was hearing some noise from the transmission. It's a 2008 Nissan Altima with the CVT transmission...I just bought it used three months ago. Ed and his mechanics determined it needed to be rebuilt based on the grinding noises. Ed went above and beyond by calling a couple different Nissan dealerships as well as Nissan USA to see if the recall warranty for the trans problems could be extended for me...it expired about a year ago. There was no reason for Ed to do this as he wouldn't of made anything on it, but he called anyway. That shows me integrity. Unfortunately for me the dealerships and Nissan wouldn't do anything. Fortunately for me Ed took excellent care of me. Even offering me a free loaner car while my transmission was being rebuilt. Ed also explained in detail the main problem with the trans and well as a secondary problem. Ed even called/shopped a couple transmission shops (competition) to compare costs. Ed gave me the best price including a 24 mo/24,000 miles warranty on the rebuilt trans. I almost forgot to mention the communication, Ed kept me up to date with everything that was going on...he called me, I didn't have to call him. Hard to find that kind of service these days. I know I will be going back to Elmhurst Auto Care with all my other cars. Thanks to Ed and his Team.

Ed and Brad at Elmhurst Auto Care do a fantastic job. They take the time to explain what's wrong and what needs to be done. I have a high mileage car so it's great to hear the difference between what needs to be done and what could be done should I choose the spend the money. Extremely trustworthy. I moved an live about 30 minutes away but still go to them for all my repair needs.
