The customer service at this Addison Rd location is top notch. The manager installed a battery for me last minute. On my next visit, he OFFERED to install my wiper blades while the other location told me no due to inclement weather. I won't go anywhere else for auto parts!

Great shop with helpful folks. Niko greeted me and assisted with all my needs. He even offered to help install my new wiper blades for me. Great customer service. Will definitely be going back again.

I have had great service at this location, especially from Tiffany. She always gets me my parts fast and if they are not in stock she gets them coming fast. Always very kind and helpful. It's a pleasure working with her.

i bought a lug wrench for 19.99 and bottle jack for for 29.99 to uninstall some tires, went to walmart to change tires and found out that the same products are for 11.99 and 22.99, 15$ cheaper both. Went back to return because they are overpriced and didn t want to take them because i used one time.. i understood his point, but never come back because of the prices.

I was buying windshield wipers and when I went to pay, the employee asked what kinda car I have so he can make sure I got the right size. He said I had the wrong sized wipers, so I went with the ones he recommended .Tell me why the ones he told me to get were way bigger than what I needed so thanks for the wipers that go over the roof of my car.The ones I had originally turned out to be the right size .

It's about 2 hours till the closing time of the Villa Park store at 8pm. It's already dark outside at 6pm in late December. Lights on the building and on the parking lot are turned off, the store looks like it's closed. But wait, when checking the door is open and store is actually still open! Good thing I checked. I almost drove off to another auto parts store.Is this an isolated occurrence or are the staff minimizing the customer traffic 2 hours before closing?

So today is Friday April 14 2022. I went into the store with my receipt for 2 idler arms that printed on the receipt stated limited lifetime warranty so when the salesman scanned the receipt the computer said there were no returnable items so imagine my surprise when the told me there was nothing they would do for me the didn t even try was like oh well to bad can t help you I am a professional auto tech and I do a lot of side work and over the years I have bought a lot of parts from them so I won t be doing that anymore can t dealWith a company that won t honor their warranty And won t even try to help you really bad customer service If I treated my customers that way I wouldn t have any so I guess that I am done doing business with Advance auto parts

These guys did a great job point out where everything I needed was. They also had an oil filter in stock that no other parts store in the area had. The staff was quick and friendly and knew what they were talking about. There was no need to climb over the counter and do their job for them to help yourself like some of the other parts stores (I'm sure you've seen the meme).

Tremendous Manager Niel outstanding store clean courteous and most of call America first. Just kidding more Hispanics come to this store than ever I'm thinking we should not build a wall after all. I'm starting to like mexican food too.

Went in to buy license plat bolts and screw extractor. They were helpful, but said they only had one screw extractor for $40. I asked was this all they had , they said yes. I continued to look around and found one for $15. Also the license plate bolts that I asked if they were universal. They said yes. They didn't work. Again helpful, just not knowledgeable

Very helpful staff. Even if they don't have the part in stock they still try to get as quickly as possible. On a couple of orders instead of waiting till 4:30 or later they sent a driver out and had it to me within 30 minutes. They are my go to store.

Very cold, Jumped My brother's car day prior, did not start next day, battery pulled and we Went to Advanced Auto Parts with car battery to buy new one. Julio assisted us. He checked battery, gave diagnosis and assisted on new purchase. We were so pleased by his assistance and knowledge. After purchase he stated we can bring car and he will check alternator. We will now make Advanced Auto Parts our 1st stop..great service and price.. thank you ADVANCED AUTO AND JULIO

The issue is mainly with the company and their policies. Check the return policy for parts you purchase.Staff are also kinda jerks depending on the day. I recommend O'Reily's on Lake street just up the road.

I called in and the staff was very knowledgeable. They ordered me a part and it came very quickly. I came in and chatted with them. I would definitely get parts here again without a doubt

Ordered a new battery online. I showed up and was told that the corrosion on my current battery was "too bad" and they couldn't change it there. It was a 5 year factory battery on a 2015 with a little corrosion, nothing major.I left went to the Roosevelt location, and had a new battery installed with no issues. I will not waste my time at the North Ave location again.

Before I went to Advance Auto on 06/02/19 I went to Auto Zone, and Oreilly's and went looking for a specific part for my 289 small block, no one knew what i was looking for and was ignored at Auto Zone and Oreilly's in Villa park Until i went to Advance Auto by Aldi's in villa park, was welcomed in by Julio and stated that i was looking for a ignition point for a 289 small block and without hesitation julio didnt ask for year,make, and model like most part store's do and color or what not, he stated that he'll be right back and picked a part from the shelf and opend the box and it was the correct ignition point that I was looking for, it took him no longer then 10 mintues. For being young Julio know hes muscle cars he is very knowledgeable when it comes to parts. Me and the guys will start buying only from Julio from now on.If you want great customer service come see Julio, hes the guy.

Clean store. Good presentation, walking in you know you're in an auto parts store, it don't smell like coconut, AutoZone, helpful people good the counter and actually had what I needed, no'we can order it for you' , again AutoZone, good prices too.

Horrible service, very rude, not helpful at all. I was broke down just a couple miles from them and couldn't get them to do anything at all, we have a commercial account with them and never had any issues getting things done except with this location. Very lazy people.

I went there to get a new battery, they said that my battery was bad so got new battery from them . 1 week late the battery they put in my car was no good. Took my car to my mechanic to make sure it wasn't my alternator and he said it was the battery, they told me alternator was fine.
