Didn t catch the name of the owner but I needed my brakes done on short notice and he stayed over an hour past closing time to finish up the job for me. Broke down the price and explained it all. Seemed like a very honest guy. Will be going back.

A day before Thanksgiving I was wrestling with an 02 sensor and wasn't getting it to budge. I called around until I finally spoke with Tony about my problem. He gave me a solid answer, and a time that worked so that he could take care of my problem on short notice. It says a lot about a person's character on how he treats/speaks to his customers and I'll say that Tony is a fantastic person and a master of his craft. In a perfect world, Tony and his shop is what you would want to have as a blueprint for quality and trust when choosing a mechanic. I'm glad to say that if I ever run into a car problem again this is where I'm going and recommend this hidden gem to others.

I've been going to Tony for years. You will not find a better or more honest mechanic anywhere. He will work hard for you and always at fair prices. He has serviced all of my vehicles. I trust Tony enough to have bought a used car from him for my daughter living 500 miles away. And he's the only person I will trust with my classic corvette. I have been going to Tony to fix my cars for the past 12 years. He is truly a great mechanic and always gives your an honest opinion. He always makes time to explain the issues and reccomends best course of action. The price is fair and the job always gets done on time. I highly recommend A & G shop.

Straightforward place - great communication-Update after 9 months: No wonder why this place has the best reviews! After replacing my auto battery here - my battery got depleted and Tony was kind enough to help me troubleshoot the issue on the phone. He later professionally recharged the battery free of any charge. Amazing customer service!

If I could give A & G 10 stars I would. This shop is the real deal, honest and professional experts who do outstanding work at a very fair price. They diagnosed and repaired a ruptured coolant hose on my Volvo and got me back on the road when I was told I needed a far more extensive repair. I couldn't be more pleased with their work and customer care. Tony and Lawrence are simply two of the best at their craft.

Tony and his crew are good guys. I've been coming here for years and they've always been consistent with their work and pricing. No run around or price gouging like other shops have tried to pull on me. Just straight up to the point on what needs to be done with pictures and before and afters with replaced parts. Definitely recommend.

Tony is so good at what he does that you almost want to keep his expertise and professionalism a secret. On the other hand, Tony and Lawrence are so honest and good at what they do, they deserve that others in Chicagoland experience what I have known for years. You will not find anyone better and more honest than these guys. Period.

A&G is our go-to auto repair shop! They are always honest about what's wrong with our vehicle and how long it will take to fix (not long at all!). They were able to work around our busy schedule to complete the work and the price was extremely reasonable! I have to say in this era it s nearly impossible to find anyone that actually knows exactly what s going on with cars rather than guessing. And have that same person be extremely honest and straight forward! Appreciate having a place like this ! 5 STARS FOR SURE !

Showed pictures of what was fixed, showed old parts that were replaced, all with friendly professionalism and a fair price. You wont find a better shop in town.
