These people are "on the ball"...seriously...I was told by another auto shop my explorer was "running so bad, they couldn't even work on it."Well, thank goodness Porter's Automotive KNOWS what they're doing. They're honest, down-to-earth good people who will do what it takes to get the job done. My explorer is running better than ever now. Thank you guys (and gals). You ROCK!!!

One of the few mechanics in this area that I trust to repair my car. They give you a straight up cost and doesn't try to mislead you into other cost. Repairs the issue the first time. Great job.

I d give this place 6 stars if I could very honest and straight forward I will be giving porters another visit when my truck demands it. Fair pricing and courteous atmosphere

6 STARS. Porters Automotive goes above and beyond. We broke down on a road trip and were stuck in Mt Vernon without transportation. Mr. Porter personally drove use to a motel till we were able to arrange a rental car. Our car was repaired on time and for a reasonable amount.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnosticServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Hands down the best place in town for all your automotive needs and a round of applause to the service technicians at this fine establishment. They installed my new LED headlights and now I can see perfect while driving down the road.

Dropped my car off in the morning prior to them opening for an 11am appointment. I called to check on my car at 10am, since I had left the keys. I asked if they had began. Secretary stated it was scheduled for 11am and they would be starting shortly. Picked car up after 2pm. Car had not been serviced. It was sitting in the same place where I parked it. She informed me that they would get to it by the end of the business day 5pm. I left. I called to speak to a manager. He was more concerned about explaining why they are short staffed instead of my inconvenience. If I would have brought my car at 2pm instead of 11am, I'm sure they would not have waited on me. I never received an apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. It was my only day to get it done before a road trip to GA. Disgusted with the customer service

My family of 5 was headed on a family vacation and BMX race in Nashville. After being turned down by 2 places while employees were just sitting around Jeremy and his employees, including his super friendly wife were willing to stay open for us to get our family back on the road. Turns out we had a machine screw in our F-350 front tire and they were able to get us up and running in no time. 10/10 recommend Porter s Automotive for anyone around this area or just driving by.

Quick to diagnose the problem with my wife's van. Kept it over the weekend and had it ready by lunchtime on Monday. Runs great now. Recommend.
