I heard this is a reputable place. There are two Porter businesses in Mount Vernon Illinois the wife is that one business and the husband is at the other. They are knowledgeable and professional.

I was traveling to KY, on my own, when I had tire trouble. Porter s was fantastic! They saw a screw in the tire, quickly repaired it, and I was on the road again in under an hour!Service: TiresService: Tires

AMAZING! I was taking my daughter back to school in St. Louis from Kentucky and my truck broke down just after 4 pm on a Wednesday. I called around and sure one would help. My wife called Porter s from Kentucky. They arrived with coolant, got us to their garage and had us back on the road by 7! They worked overtime and charged a fair price. Thank you! I don t know what we would have done because there were no car rentals anywhere!Service: Engine repair

Not very good at all . They told me when I dropped of my truck that it would only take a few hours. Ended up getting my truck over night . Not to mention that they wasn't going to call me and say anything until I called them by the end of the day. That's when I was informed that they were going to when to keep it. This is the second time that I have had an issue with this repair shop . Never again.

Thanks Porter for taking great care of my son and self when we needed an engine doc thee most. Crankshaft oil seal cut into our travels in ice cold freezing weather. But even tho we walked into a manic monday,Porter had us back on the road the very next morning. Forever grateful!! And prices was extremely fair!!

I am traveling across the Country. I had an issue with my vehicle overnight while passing thru. I ended up here at Poter's Automotive. They took such great care of me. Only charged me what was needed to get me safely to my destination. They offered me advice of what to do for when I get there and have the money, that would better keep my vehicle in top condition.I highly recommend them to everyone!!! I felt out of place and worried of cost and they made me feel comfortable. They treated me as only family would treat you!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! I was back on the road fast!!! God Bless You All!!!

I went in to get a quote to get my seatbelt replaced and I made an appointment because of the great friendly service and the fair price. I'll update my review on Wednesday once I get the seatbelt replaced.
