Go in here with warranty. Battery discharged a bit from a spark after attempting to put back into my bike. They blame me for being a bad battery owner even though I kept the thing on a tender the whole winter. They tell me they will call me the next day to pick it up after they attempt to chatge it, the next day is Sunday and they are closed... thanks...... really appreciate your assistance.......Will update to a 3 star. In the end they at least gave me a new battery, as it was under warranty.

Store personnel are very helpful and even helped work through an issue with the on-line ordering system (buy on-line, pick-up in-store discount was not working). Vernon Hills team has been great to work with. They didn't have the four industrial deep-cycle batteries I needed urgently, but they went to the Crystal Lake store to bring them in to meet my urgent need. Great Work and customer service!

Jana was awesome. She was super friendly and helpful and was able to finish the repair the phone faster than expected. She gave great advice on phone cases and screen protectors. I will definitely send friends and family to this store for repairs.

Free battery test showed a bad battery. The original was 6 years old, so no surprise.New battery was just what I needed for a Christmas trip to Iowa in winter conditions.Many thanks to the wonderful people at Batteries Plus in Vernon Hills, IL.

Competitive prices and they really know what they're doing! Found this place when searching to fix my phone and I'm glad I did! Fantastic job done and my phone looks brand new for half the cost of what I'd pay at another so called "authorized service center". I shall go back for my future needs and also recommend my friends and family!

My motorcycle died and after calling and verifying they had a suitable battery, i started to walk the 4 miles to the store. The manager tried to contact me and actually sent out a van looking for me with a charged battery. I was told this upon arriving at the store. No one has gone out of their way to help me like that. Due to issues with my cell phone, we never connected but I will never forget the help that was extended to me.

Batteries Plus Bulbs in VH is my go to for non-standard batteries. Online ordering and pick up in store is a breeze. Staff always friendly and spend time walking through any sticky points on battery installation and maintenance.

I have been dealing with this Store for a few years now and I always get great service. the employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. They generally have what I need in the store but if they have to order it I always get it in a few days. they have also done a fantastic job fixing all our companies phones when I turn them in for repair in a timely manner.

My 1st trip into this store. I really didn't know what batteries plus was. Well, now I do, and I was pleasantly surprised . we were greeted right away and when we asked about a battery for our phone, they new the answer, was able to replace within 30 minuets. The service was great and the price was fair. Kept us from getting a new phone that we don't need right now.

Sierra did a great job programming my car key. After having some difficulty, she didn t give up and figured out how to make it successful. I have been to the store several times for products and have always been satisfied. Sierra is professional and pleasant to work with. Definitely 5 star rating.

I called with a question and got good, easy to understand answers as well as the promise I could come to the store, get what I needed, be certain it would work. I felt valued as a customer and received all the help I needed getting the correct battery for my camping trailer. My internet search was confusing but when I called Batteries Plus, Jana clarified what I needed, assured me it would work, and located it for me.

Sierra went above and beyond to help me with my cell phone and 2 key fobs. She was extremely helpful and professional. The store was neat and clean. I was impressed with the wide variety of items they carry. I would highly recommend this store.

Excellent service. I brought my 91 year old grandfather in to find a new battery for his laptop. Not only did we get the battery he needed, but the clerk also explained good battery use and maintenance to my grandfather. I was very pleased how the clerk spoke directly to my grandfather and slowly enough for my grandfather to understand. Thank you for that.

the first employee we talked with- his name may have been Mitch? was super helpful! best prices that i found anywhere. they stand behind their work. they do not try to "supersize" your order. :-)

They carry hard-to-find sizes, like batteries for UPS's. If you order online for store pickup, you get a 10% discount, an email notifying you when your order is ready, then go in, show an ID, and pick up your item. Great experience.

This location is absolutely pathetic. I was there to get battery change for my iPhone. The girl working seems lunatic with mind. Seems the staff doesn t have the common sense to handle situations. Harassing the customer to come back later in 20 min since they are busy and when you come back thinking they will address you right away they say it might take 11/2 to wait. So earlier estimate was 20 min if I come back in 20 min. So making me drive back and forth in -4 temperature and what I get after coming again the staff disgusted behavior and idiotic attitude. I have been a regular and have recommended this location. NOT ANYMORE. They don t deserve my business.Waited over a week since they didn t had battery in stock and eventually when they have and they called me to come, you face this rediculous staff. Than being thankful that you waited to get your battery change from us and came back you get treated as mentioned. I would have gone somewhere else...

I arrived 6 pm ish late and atendant explain that shop was closed. I explaind him that the battery I bought half an hour ago is for the sump pump back up system in the basement, and needs to be replaced. It is dangerous.He kindly understood my explanation and deliver the battery even though the shop was closed. He closed the door for security, fix all the papers, rebates and credit in my credit card for the old battery.I want to appreciate his help as a extremely responsible attendant, committed in his job and, loyal with the company and committed with high standard of quality service.Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should have went to Apple Store. Went here instead because they were closer and easier to drop in. Had to go back the next day as the battery was rattling in my phone. They fixed and in a couple days it was rattling again. Visited for the third time and he said the wrong glue was used and tried again. Seems to be working normal now. But it took three trips total. Had I just went to he Apple Store it would of been done right the first time. I have a iPhone 6.

I have an LED flashlight that didn't work. I installed new batteries and it still didn't work. I concluded that I needed a new LED bulb which was disappointing. I took the flashlight to Batteries + Bulbs and asked them to sell me a bulb for it. They examined the flashlight and determined that by cleaning the light's contact-spring of the battery contact, it worked fine. They installed a new set of AA batteries and sent me on my way -- AT NO CHARGE! They could have sold me a bulb and cleaned the contacts and unknowingly, I would have still been happy. They were honest and effective. Thanks!

Had a great experience with Batteries + Bulbs yesterday. Came in with a dead battery and was helped by Serria. She diagnosed my battery problems and found me a suitable alternative for my particular application. It is customer focused and knowledgeable employees like Serria, that keeps me coming back to Batteries & bulbs. Well done!

I'm sure this place is great for batteries and bulbs, but under no circumstances should you bring your phone here for repair. I came in to repair the back of my Galaxy S7 and have the battery replaced. When they told me my phone was ready, I picked it up and went across the street for lunch. Within 10 minutes the back of my phone started peeling off, so I had to take it back. They told me to wait another half hour and it would be fixed. After half an hour the same thing happened, so I had to take it in once again. This time I decided to wait until close to come pick it up as I figured it would help if the adhesive had extensive time to try. I got my phone back and the installation was horrible. The back was misaligned, my phone was beat up as it looks like they put the clamps straight on the phone without any padding, and the camera and heart rate monitor are loose. At least it finally seemed to be stuck on there permanently. I went home and went to sleep. I'm currently typing this from the same phone, where the back was once again peeling off when I woke up. This place made my phone worse than it was before taking it there.

Purchased battery online with in store pick up. Was to receive $10 credit when I came to store and brought in old battery. Never received credit. Staff could not figure out how/why credit wasn't applied. Left store after 20 minutes waiting for them to try and solve problem. Never did. Never received credit. Did receive credit 3 days later on my bank account.

My phone went dead the first time and my phone provider was not able to bring my phone back to life. Instead, I was sent to Batteries Plus who quickly replaced my battery with a life warranty! Wow, never heard of batteries with "life warranties" before! But it is true. My phone went dead again after about 6 months of use and so I went back to the store. Siena, who helped me on my 1st and 2nd visit was very friendly, efficient and very generous with technical information about phones and batteries. She replaced my battery without question and made everything fast, easy and painless.

Helpful Staff and good product. Competitive pricing, They knew just what I needed without having to hire a professional installer. They also install car batteries you buy from them, although I was there this time for an alarm system battery.

They've stood behind their lifetime warranty. This visit, the staff was extremely helpful and spent time to talk to me about extending battery life in my Samsung. I appreciated that very much.
