Had both tires replaced at this shop. My rear wheel came loose while riding within 50 miles of leaving the shop. Left a message for service center and have not heard back 4 business days later.

Just picked up OEM side panniers for my 1250RS. Wayne handled having the lock matched to my key and ordering a fastener set that hadn't been provided with the cases.

I cannot say enough good things about Warren and the repair team at Sportland. First off, they do a great job with communication whether it is through email or it is through the phone. Secondly, they did a really great job on my machine. The thing runs like it is brand new and they never tried to up sell me on items I did not need. I really cannot thank them enough for the great work.Also, I just want to thank all of the friendly sales people as well. Anytime I have a question, they are quick to show me options and I never feel pressured into purchasing items I do not need. This will be my go to shop from now on.

Motorcycle dealers have three functions: sales, parts, and service.Sales: I have purchased a motorcycle and a generator here. The prices are fair, no excessive fees, and they were very easy to deal with. The sales staff is knowledgeable and friendly.Parts: I buy tons of parts and accessories here. The guys at the parts counter are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They know me by name and by bikes. Prices on accessories are very reasonable, this is not a "stealership".Service: I have limited experience here as I do a lot of work myself. The few times I have used the service department, they have been quick and did a good job.In summary, this is one of the best dealers I have encountered.Update on 2/24/2024: just had new tires installed on my bike. They got me in and out on the same day that I called! Wayne, my technician, did a great job and was very personable.

I found sportland by reference from an OEM site, and worked with Jarod to purchase a CF MOTO 500. Great to work with, supplied me with all the information I needed, and made the whole purchase easy. I was able to check it all out and take it for a ride before loading it up. Everyone in the family is already having fun and we re excited to get some riding in this summer!

The people here are just fantastic! Went in possibly looking for a new BMW bike. I was offered to go on a test drive ( which I did for an hour). When I came back Jason ( my salesman) asked for my feedback on what I liked and disliked. No pressure at all to buy and spent a lot of time with me. I also met Sam, the owner who was extremely nice and accommodating. The people here are all very nice. They have a huge selection of bikes and very welcoming. You think this would be the case in all stores but it's not. They truly appreciate your business. I did end up buying a BMW Grand America. They had it nicely stage when I arrived. The whole process was very professional from beginning to end. With highest regards I would look here!! Truly passionate people in the motorcycle business.

Had fork seals replaced on my motorcycle and they didn't bother putting the bolts for my steering stem back in. Called multiple times leaving contact information as the labor department was too busy to get to the phone, but never heard back from them on rectifying the issue. On a separate occasion had to deal with a condescending salesman. Some of the employees there rock, but overall poor experiences.

Took them my yfz450r in for a service after first 5 hours and for 232.00 they could t even wipe the air box then I get home and the oil drain plug is dripping oil

Seems like it was my typical Sportland visit. Plenty of people there, and completely ignored by everyone. I went to look at helmets, and stood at the wall of them for about 30 minutes. Tried a few on, not once did someone ask if I needed any help until I was walking out. Ordered a helmet elsewhere.

disappointed with service labor charges...ridiculous. They charged me nearly $200 for "service" which included oil change and checking fluids, battery, etc. They checked the air filter and said it needed to be replaced; I said sure and then they charged me another $130 labor to put the new air filter in! They said it's alot of work to get to the air filter on a Honda Metro scooter...ok, but then how did you know the filter needed to be changed?! You already had it opened up! AND the minimum charge to put on a new tire is $129 PER TIRE. There is no way it takes an hour to put on a new tire.

Worst service experience in my 50 years of life on this planet . I dont recommend buying from them or having any service done !! Service never returns calls after getting upset on the phone they mysteriously find the part. Set up appt 9am said it would take 2 hours so I wait on it. 2 hours later it's still sitting in parking lot untouched after again upset with them again they pull it in do the recall work . I load it up drive 2hrs home unload it test drive it and primary comes off and goes through my belt cover leaving me stranded on the side of the road . The primary they just replaced !!!

Called today just to see if they had time to perform the 600 mile service on my 22 BMW S1000rr M and Tyler was extremely helpful he managed to fit me in today s schedule, me and my wife drove 2 1/2 hrs to Urbana (I live in Chicago) and never felt so welcome in a dealership in my life. All the employees that work there are very nice and very professional. They even helped me unload and load my bike to my truck and not to mention they have way better service prices than other dealerships in Chicago! Highly recommend going here even if you re driving 2 1/2 hrs these guys are just great. Thanks again Tyler and Doug.Freddy,

I received a phone quote to replace a Bendix on a Polaris RZR. I was good with the price and was given an appointment two weeks out. I waited two weeks them drove 40 miles to drop off the RZR. The quote at the point was $100.00 higher than quoted on the phone. Okay, its a big job, not happy with the surprise but I went with it. Waited for a call to pick it up, after a week nothing, after two weeks nothing, so I called for a status. I was told by the person who answered the phone that the Service Manager was on vacation but he could see in the computer that it was disassembled and ready to install the new Bendix. So, I waited another week and nothing, then another and nothing. So after 5 weeks in their shop I called an asked for an update. A pleasant young lady told me that the Service Department was only taking messages. So I left a message to call me with a status update. I waited two days and never received a call. I called them again, but this time determined to speak with someone. I spoke with a guy named Brad who said that he was new to the business and had been there less time than my RZR so he had to check. He proceeded to tell me that they had not even started the work after 5 weeks, then proceeded to tell me they under quoted the work and it would take more money to get the work done. I told him not to touch it. I drove another 40 miles to pick up my machine that was untouched for 5 weeks. A complete waste of my time and resources. I could have fixed the damn thing myself in 5 weeks, I took it there to make sure I had professional work done and had it done quickly so I could at least have the machine some of the summer. Not only did not not encounter any professionals in their whole damn business, I lost 7 weeks total with my machine, 160 total miles driven at $5.00 a gallon, and two Saturdays to take there and pick it up. I will never do business of any kind there again. Read the rest of the reviews and think twice before trusting them with Service.

I would give the guys at Sportland a much higher rating than 5 if possible! I have purchased many bikes through the years and my recent buying experience was one of the best if not the best one I have ever had. I came in to just see if they had the bike I was looking for while I was in town from out of state, and Sam introduced himself to me and showed me what I was looking for. Not only did he give me a very good deal, he made the whole experience enjoyable and seamless. The night before I traveled back to Sportland to complete the deal and trade my current ride, I was introduced to Jason on the phone and he could not have been nicer and more helpful. Yesterday when I picked up my new BMW, Sam came in on his way out of town just to make sure that he followed up with me which was amazing. I could have purchased the same bike 30 minutes away, but there was something about how I was treated that made me want to do business here. Sam and Jason have earned a customer for life!Since my original review, I can only confirm my original feedback as I just had my original 600 mile service done. Not only was it done seamlessly, they offered to loan my a bike while my bike was being serviced if I wanted to get out and enjoy the day for the hour that my bike was being serviced. Warren was very thorough in his communication and follow-up as well as assisting on a know issue on this model. Awesome customer service!

If you're buying a motorcycle, they're great and they go above and beyond. Once the purchase is complete, the customer service and go getter attitude at Sportland stops in it's tracks.The parts and service department is absolutely horrible! Worst attitudes and customer service I have ever had to deal with!If you get the (manager) taller guy with glasses, or the short guy (sorry, don't know their names) , just know that your experience will be sub-par at best.1- star was only given because you have to, and the sales team does a good job, again, during the purchase process.

Just purchased our first pit bike here. My son's Birthday present. All the guys there were super nice there. They answered our questions, had some suggestions about places to ride and overall enjoyed the fadt excellent customer service from their store. Thanks!!

I recently purchased a 2020 Honda CBR 300r from them and the whole process was very easy and streamlined. Loving the bike so far and the comfort of the warranty put on it as well. Not sure how their repair faculties are as I haven't really had my bike in for repair yet, but the staff was friendly and happy to work with me.

Horrible experience, went to give my credit card info for them to place an order for my granddaughter s helmet. Was told there were 3 left. A few phone calls later, no order placed. My daughter told them I would order it somewhere else. A week later the charge was still on my card. Called again, was told it took 7 to 14 days. At 14 days, got transferred to the person that was to place the order originally, very nasty attitude and told me he needed my credit card info to cancel the charge. Gave home the info , then he slammed the phone down. Still waiting to see the charge cancelled. NEVER GOING BACK!!

So my family has bought most if not all of our utility vehicles from this place in the past and have been treated great but yesterday s experience wasn t the best the young man that was helping me behind the parts counter didn t have any business being up front and working with the public luckily the new owner had kept on the salesman I ve dealt with in the past he s the one who found the oil change kit long story short I went in there to spend ton of money on a new wind shield and parts for my ranger and a hour later yes I said a hour I gave up and left with not a single item

Bought a Honda Pioneer 700 there - good purchase experience. Dealing with the service department afterwards convinced me to never go back. Rude / borderline disrespectful. Amazed that the owner tolerates that type of behavior. Would ve spent quite a bit more $ there.

Brought my bike in for a top end rebuild / cct replacement. The service department checked my VIN for recalls and replaced the stator. Really quick turnaround for quality work at a fair price. I have no complaints and definitely recommend.

I bought a used 2012 BMW S1000rr from these guys and the experience was certainly a good one. The original motorcycle's tires were in great condition but since they were 9 years old Sportland put new set of Michelin Moto GPs on for no additional cost. The sales staff didn't bombard me as soon as I stepped into the place and gave me more then enough space/ time to do a full inspection on the bike. The price on the motorcycle was the price I took the bike home for. There were no additional dealer fees, any sort of pressure to buy an extended warranty or things of that nature. Another example of this positive experience was as soon as I informed them I had financed through my bank, and was committed to buy, they took the motorcycle off the showroom floor. Finally, they sent me an extra key directly to my address back in Arkansas, since the previous owner misplaced the spare one that came with the bike. This is the 4th motorcycle I've owned but the first one I've purchased from a dealer. Maybe some of this stuff is standard at any other dealership, but this is just a list of positives that stuck out to me. Thanks Sportland

Jason took great care of me when I purchased a 2019 Grizzly 700. He was very personable, knowledgeable and honest. I drove from Bloomington-Normal because he was willing to go the extra mile to make me a good offer. I definitely will come back to Sportland for my next purchase and will confidently send my friends and family there as well.

My wife and I are on an extended cross country trip and her bike needed a new rear tire. Warren, the service manager, was able to order it on short notice and get it installed within an hour. Although I am never excited about the cost of such things, they did a professional job and I am confident that the installation was done properly.Thanks!
