Just called this place that claims to support the biking community. I was interested in getting a price for changing a front tire on my Harley. I was told they do not perform work on Harley motorcycles. Don't see how changing a front tire on a Harley is different than on any other bike. Had to give a 1 star rating to leave a comment but the don't deserve even that.

I took a vintage motorcycle of mine to RBM to have turn signals installed, and throttle cables put on, and the front wheel trued up. They had my bike for 6 weeks, and when I picked it up they said they had mounted the turn signals, but the bike would need a new wiring harness in order for them to actually work. When I picked up the bike there were spots of paint that were damaged on the tank, and Lucas the owner said "oh well this is spray painted so if you get gas on the tank or anything it just rubs the paint right off" I said "hmmm well, it didn't have any paint missing before you guys worked on it..." which he kind of brushed off.Lucas repeatedly said "this bike is junk they just painted it to make it look nice" I'm not really interested the commentary - it obviously wasn't junk to me, that's why I own it, and just because he thought it was "junk" I guess gave them license to not treat it with any care at all, damage the paint, etc.While riding home looking at my damaged paint on my tank, I realized there were wires sticking out everywhere nothing was put back into the headlight bezel, or zip tied anywhere, and then the speedometer fell off WHILE I was driving home. Definitely got the bike back in worse condition than it was when I dropped it off, with the exception of the throttle cables.2 stars (generously) because the throttle cables did get installed and work great. Lucas said they spent 13 hours on it (?) and only charged me for 3 which was 375 dollars... Definitely not a great experience, although the shop is completely full of bikes, so maybe others have better experience with more straightforward projects, or repairs on newer bikes. Just felt like they decided my motorcycle wasn't the nicest (which it's not, but it's mine, and I needed some help with some repairs) therefore not worth working on, and treated it as such. It would have probably been better for everyone to just say "we don't work on bikes like this" in the first place rather than waste all this time and energy.

Stopped into RBM to see if they had a battery for my Harley in stock, which they did. I think they're more of a racing bike type place than a Harley place (I took a little gentle ribbing from the owner) but he had my battery in stock for a great price and I was off and riding shortly after I got it home. Overall a great experience, and I'd definitely do business with these folks again! Thanks!

It's great to have such a good resource as RBM in our town. Lucas is professional, knowledgeable and knows his way around bikes. If you need work done on your motorcycle and you want to take it somewhere reliable RBM is the place to go. The guy who runs the place, Lucas, is an excellent mechanic and even with just a brief conversation you can tell how trustworthy he is. He did fantastic work on my old CB550, he went above and beyond what you might expect from any other mechanic. He sets the bar pretty high, far and away the best experience I've had with this kind of service.

Lucas is the best mechanic you will work with in the area. You can tell he loves what he does and helping people. He s professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly RELIABLE!I was a first time rider with no knowledge of bikes (easily could ve screwed me over) never did and answered my millions of questions.Also, helped me with a consignment sale when I moved out of chambana. I 100% recommend RBM and the work they do!

So happy to find someone to work on my 1200 triumph trophy.Lucas is an outstanding mechanic with upfront knowledge.After removing, cleaning, and synchronization of carbsuretors and throttle bodies the bike runs like a dream.Additional parts were ordered and Lucas also recommended a brake fluid service change.After wanting to hold off on fluid change Lucas insisted he change and I pay him when i could.Little did i know how bad the fluid was until I drove it away.Wow!This guy really cares!Give them a chance and RBM will deliver for you!Thanks Lucas!

Ask RBM to look at my son s Honda CRF 100, not starting or sounding right after a Saturday ride. After looking it over they showed me what was wrong before doing anything, nice to see that attention to detail from a repair shop. Lucas and Cody let me know approximately what the cost of repair was and ask if I wanted to move forward. They were diligent and fulfilled their time frame expected. Cost of repairs was reasonable and I will definitely take more repairs to them. Lucas was awesome and I think Cody is a great dirt bike mechanic! Thanks you guys! You made my son s Christmas so much better!

Full service motorcycle shop. Excellent customer service. The owner is also a rider, and passionate about motorcycling. Soon to be selling motorcycles once he get's his dealer paperwork. I can't say enough about Lucas and his staff. Best in the Champaign Urbana, Savoy and Rantoul, IL surrounding area.

Thank you so much Right Balance Motors!!!! I brought my gsxr1127 in to get repairs due to a number of mechanical issues. I was so amazed that all of the repairs you were able to make to my bike and your turnaround times were on point. The communication was very consistent and professional during the whole process of repairing my bike. You were very informative and helpful in explaining the issues that were affecting my bikes performance. One big thing that was very helpful during this whole process of the breakdown/restore of my bike was the updated invoices that were always emailed to me in a timely manner which allowed me to keep track of what was being done on financial side of things in my budget. I would without a doubt refer Right Balance Motors to anyone who owns a motorcycle and needs repairs done. Thanks again Lucas for all your help:) You definitely have gained a life long customer. Not to mention delivered my bike to my house for free.

2020 -Lucas is a blessing to the local riding community. All my interactions with RBM exceed expectations. Despite his knowledge and mechanical gifts he's never condescending and is patient with all questions and concerns. Deserves six stars.2019 -Lucas is impressively professional and congenial.I intend to update after my machine is serviced.Everything is up to par and no surprises. I am recommending RBM to fellow enthusiasts.

Right Balance Motorsports was a PLEASURE to deal with. Lucas is extremely knowledgeable on how to repair motorcycles regardless of year, make, or model. Turn around on my Honda was really quick and the bike is as good as new. Forget other motorcycle shops in town, Right Balance Motorsports is where it's at.

Called them to ask about getting my honda 125cc dirtbike looked at as it is having issues staying running. They were very rude over the phone with me and acted like they had no interest in looking at it. Very sad since it seems to be one of the only places in town to work on motorsports but luckily not the only place!

After showing up unexpectedly at his shop at the end of the day, Lucas was very helpful in working on my bike and helping me find the part I needed to get me back on the road right away. Lucas knew what he was doing and took the time to quickly deal with my problem.Thank you!
