Great experience at Red's Muffler Shop! Had my car towed there after after my exhaust was dragging off my car. They had great customer service and did a great job repairing my car in a timely manner. Also, extremely fair price for repairs! I can't say enough good things about this business! Thank you Red's Muffler Shop!

Great, quality work at a very reasonable price. Was recommended this place by a couple of trusted friends so I gave them a try. Dropped my truck off at 930am, had the call with the estimate at 1030am, and truck was ready to go at 130pm. Stainless steel tips look great, too! Would definitely recommend.

Very honest shop that provides some great work at a very fair price! Well worth the wait if you need to make an appointment. I was reached out to multiple times while my car was being worked on and given different options that could help reduce the cost. Military discount was added without any mention, which goes to show what kind of shop Red s is. Will definitely be returning in the future!Service: Exhaust

I had an exhaust leak in my Civic and I was recommended to come here to get it fixed. I am grateful that I was told to come here because this shop is exceptional. Not only are the staff friendly, but they are quick, family-oriented, and customer-focused.I came in early, 7:45 AM and left the shop at 9:15 AM paid and ready to go to work. During my short wait here, I learned a lot about the store and their family values. They kindly explained that they can start working on my car in 20 minutes. They were on time. They examined the car, discussed the issues to each other, and then called me into the garage. They kindly explained what was going on with my car. It was very easy for me to understand! After explaining what they were going to do and how much it costs, they asked me if I was okay with that. Uh, YES. The price was shockingly CHEAP. They told me they would be done in 30 minutes. They finished on time."Grandma" and "grandpa" did the welding for my car. "Grandkid" was at the shop (sick day) and teaching me about Minecraft. "Grandma's" dog, Sparky, was in the waiting room with me the whole time and is the friendliest chihuahua I have EVER met. I noticed the huge shelf of trophies on car modifications. I seriously can't recommend this shop enough. I appreciate the fact that they didn't treat me like an idiot, they made sure I was informed about my car, and were honest and true to their words.Without a doubt, I will always come here and recommend everyone I know.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced staff, offering a wide range of products and pricing. The work is always top-notch and is always delivered with exceptional customer service. Schedule ahead & drop off. As with any craft, quality work often takes more time, so don't be an impatient jerk should they need more time. The work will be worth it & they are busy!! I recommend dropping off and waiting for their call. If they are running behind, don't call repeatedly, just give them the grace to do what they do best. Get some food or take a walk around the park just north of them. They'll call you when the work is done.

A great American family-owned business, extremely helpful. We traveled from NY to Chicago, stopped by Champaign to pick up our son in college. Just when we got ready to leave Champaign, the muffler of our old 2010 car broke off from the exhaust pipe. Call Red, the owner was able to fit my car in , weld the muffler back on in the afternoon of the same day, that allowed us to stay on our travel schedule. Thank you !!!

A skilled person with a welder can do things corporate chains simply won't. Got my exhaust fixed without replacing more than needed, saved me several hundred bucks. Red's Muffler shop was recommended by Bulldogs auto shop. My car exhaust system was estimated to cost $1200 at BULLDOGS. Red's fixed it for $175. They were easy to talk to and do business with. I will definitely do future business with them.

I was recommended Red's by the guys at Beaumont Auto to get some exhaust/muffler work done. I had originally received a quote from another shop that was much more expensive and thought I'd shop around. The price here is very reasonable, fast and friendly. My little car doesn't sound like a tank anymore. Highly recommend this place. Thank you!

Super honest friendly people and amazing price!! The dealership suggested replacing the muffler and two other pipes. They repaired the pipes and replaced the muffler. My jaw dropped when I heard the estimated cost; it was less than a fifth of the estimate from the dealership. The level of honesty is out of the planet; they did know the dealership estimate!! The car is much quieter now. I only wish I can take my car to Reds for every repair. Unfortunately, they deal only with the exhaust system.Service: Exhaust

Don't look any further. Legitimately the best place in the whole US when it comes to your exhaust job whether rust or tuning.Priced reasonably, very honest and friendly family owned.It is so beautiful to have a place which doesn't try to screw you over the bill - this place you can just relax and make them do their brilliant job as always and the bill will surprise you with the fair pricing.Will miss this place since now i am thousand miles away.Service: Exhaust

Friendly crew runs this shop, always busy. Firat come first serve. No appointment but you can drop off your keys overnight in an envelope with your phonr number, they will call you back. Located in a busy corner. Reasonable price not negotiable. Professional job done.

They were recommended by my regular mechanic for exhaust work. Red's muffler's mechanics were super honest, and informative. This place is great. They replaced my entire exhaust system at a fraction (literally) of the cost of their competitors. They offered for me to search for parts online in order to save money. The quality of their work speaks for itself. My car is so quiet now when I turn it on it feels like I m driving electric! And my check engine light finally turned itself off!

When I 1st went to set the appointment up, an older woman stepped out of the shop with a Sawzall in her hands, she went on to tell me that she'd been working there for 45 years, she was the matriarch of the family, I was sold, she impressed the hell out of me. I can t say enough good things about Reds. The staff was friendly, informative and HONEST. They were upfront about costs and what was required and not. Once a repair plan was settled upon, they were super fast. Cost was minimal. Best experience I ve had in the city. Wish I could give them more! The repair was much cheaper than another place offered, did not take all day and the repair was done with expert precision. The people working there were also extremely friendly. Totally pleased!

I dropped off my car early and Nelda gave me a ride to work. Then brought my car to me at my job and when I was done working went to pay them. Excellent job!!! Their prices are fair. I highly recommend them!!

I would recommend Red s to anyone. First for their honesty and second for their ease to do business with. Being in Florida, my granddaughter, who attends school in Champaign, had an exhaust issue. The kindest staff you will ever meet! I came in with battery problems and two men working (unfortunately forgot to ask for their names) were nice enough to look at my battery. They told me if I got the part from Auto Zone they would be willing to install it for me. Best experience at a mechanic I've ever had! Being an undergrad student I know absolutely nothing about cars and they were nice enough to explain everything they were doing to me in a way I'd actually understand! Will definitely be coming back if I have any other issues with my car and will definitely recommend this place to all my friends! Thanks again you guys really appreciate it!

I appreciated the kindness and professional way I was treated and I never had anymore issues with my exhaust system because of the expertise my SUV received.Mrs. Red is a beautiful person.It's been over four years or more when I came in town to have work done before I went back to Alabama. Well I'm back in town with a different vehicle needing to be done because some selfish people decided to cut out my Catalytic converter.Suv received.Service: Exhaust

I had them replace the y-pipe in my vehicle, the part I bought was too short to fit! But they still made it work instead of giving up, and still kept it within the price range they had given me! Great people and did an amazing job. The car is nice and silent now. Highly recommend this place :)

I ve been going to this business often on for the past 20 years but I haven t been there for a while and they looked at my car it took a while because they are so busy all the time.. I drop my car off for the night and they called me the next day and told me what was the problem.. they re very professional they re very good and very friendly it s a mom and Pops shop they ve been around for ever... it s worth the wait to get your car fixed their the best in town . If you ever need your car done right and reasonable rates and honest this is the place to go . This is the very first muffler shop I been to and won t go no where else even if I have to wait a bit longer .trust me it s worth it they re busy all the time because they re very good at what they do and you can never go wrong with them..
