I've known the owner for years. Very helpful staff. I had a strange issue with my vehicle shortly after purchasing, but it seems like i maybe just got some bad gas. Julio was on top of it immediately. He went above helping me in any way he could. I probably wasn't as nice as I should have been when the problem happened, but he was very professional and seemed like he really wanted to help me. I'd recommend him if someone asked for a car.

We purchased two vehicles from Crispin Auto Sales in 2023 .In Jan. we bought a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz . My daughter loves it ! It's her first car .. She is just 17 and it's been a great , reliable car w/ no issues .In Nov. I bought a 2011 BMW 535i series . I love it ! I am very glad I stopped in at Crispin Auto . Matt delt w/ me in a way that I know I could trust in what he was telling me was true . They are also able to service what they sell .I'm a very satisfied customer !Brad Johnson

Matt at Crispin Auto was very professional and friendly with the sale of my Camaro. Had a couple issues with the car and he was willing to iron out the issues right away for no charge. Very nice service!

Purchased the car back in June.......Julio is an avid fan of sports car and has a very vast knowledge of an array of cars. His selection can range from economy, luxury, sport, etc.....He'll have what you are looking for and his One-Year Warranty that he honors for used cars would be almost unheard of at any other auto place that is in the Used Car Business. Also is in the business of Repair and Paint....Crispin Auto Sales is a one-stop shop.

I purchased a used car from Crispin Auto about six months before. The price of the car was reasonable, rather cheap compared to other dealers in the Urbana area. They have a huge collection of cars of different type and model. The best part of the Crispin is their technical assistance. I always get their help for any technical issues related to my car. They are well behaved and always in a friendly attitude. I am very happy with Crispin and will always recommend my friends and others to visit them before buying a car. Thanks.

My daughter purchased a van and it ended up needing a few things shortly after the sale. After speaking with Matt about the issues he was helpful in getting things resolved and her up and running again. Bought a BMW Z4 from them and Matt was really helpful. There were a few issues with the car that I noticed and they fixed them without charging me anything. I got in an accident a few months later and had minimum coverage. They gave me the lowest quote to fix everything. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely recommend them.

THE BEST!! Thank you Matt and Heidi at Crispin Auto Sales for a First Class car buying experience. 10+ stars from me!!I am a single, "senior" female with a disability and on a fixed/limited income budget. I have spent fruitless hours on the internet (one scam after another) and "kicked tires" at various dealerships from Bloomington to Danville, where I have either been ignored or treated like a second class citizen (and not listened to).Yesterday I discovered Crispin Auto Sales!! What a difference. I am over the moon thrilled with the experience and my "new to me wheels." Both Matt and Heidi listened to me, understood my current and future needs and were respectful of me, my condition and my budget.Many thanks again for everything and finding the perfect mode of transport for me.This "Gypsy Mommi" can't wait to "Get on the Road Again" in her new wheels!!

The customer service here is awesome. I went to this place to look for my first car, and they made the process as smooth as possible. I ve been recommending this place to my friends at U of I and in the city. Not to mention they have amazing deals on their cars, so if you see something you like you better act on it fast because they sell pretty quickly. The people that work there are very friendly and understanding, also the owner as well. I would highly recommend crispin auto s to anyone who s looking for a nice car for a very affordable rate!

They do not serve their warranty! Buy at your own risk! Bought a pretty piece of junk.Update 21: year later had to buy tires because mine never held air. Entire brake system. Headlights. Blower motor went out. New battery. Full exhaust. Rusted completely off.All the while I'm having to continuously put money into this car. Hes out on vacation. His Mother at the desk is not much help. Nice people! Yes! All about money, not your safety.No 50/50 warranty. Good talker.

My experience with Julio Chrispin has been horrible! Don't buy a car from him!! His vehicles are no good!! I purchased a 2001 Mercury Sable from him for my 75 yr old, disabled mother and the car has had all kinds of problems. He knew this car was for an elderly person yet he still sold me an unreliable car. He is very unprofessional and his 50/50 warranty is a joke. In the first week my mother had the car we had to take it back for the same or related repairs 3 times. Also, when I test drove the car I could smell oil burning. I asked Julio about it and he said the car had a small oil leak which he had taken care of and the oil I smelled was from the oil that got on the engine before and during the repair. Well guess what? The car is still leaking oil! Don't buy a car from him!! You will be sorry if you do!!Update on this review 3/10/13: The car had two oils leaks which Julio Crispin said was fixed, but he installed the gaskets incorrectly so the car continued to leak oil. The leak got pretty bad so we ended up having to take the car somewhere else to have it repaired after Julio had the car 5 days and still had not done the repairs. The rear brakes on the car were bad, really bad! The strut and tire end rod in the front driver's side wheel was bad and they tried to fix it, but after 3 tries they still installed the part wrong which made it worse and then they finally took it apart and got it fixed. On most occasions when we took the car in to him for repairs it took days to get in contact with him and then days to get the car back from being repaired. He is understaffed and the work and parts are poor quality in my experience. Recently the brake light switch went out and we had to have it repaired elsewhere also. He is refusing to honor the warranty contract (even the repairs he agreed to in writing when we purchased the car) because I gave him a bad review on google. We have been taking the car to another mechanic who has done a good job so far, but the car continues to have problem after problem. Julio Crispin does bad business as far as I am concerned. My mother has had the car less than 5 months at this point and he has done little to make things right.

They are wonderful people there, very helpful and they know what they are talking about, I am always telling friends that are car shopping to take a look here, the prices are reasonable and they give you a warranty as well, Trust me you can't go wrong buying from them.

Havent had my car a whole month and have to get not only small work done but major work done on it. Yes it's a used car but if you want a good reputation then sale your cars at the upmost best quality. Dont act as if there is nothing wrong with it. Tires are bare, brakes are scrud up, wheel alignment messed up, power steering is messed up. Almost caused several accidents. Still haven't received my plates, then they answer the phone as if it's a personal phone and no business. They nice people and talk a great game but cars are not best quality and they dont get them checked on before sale. #clearlyihaveworktoputincar

Bought my first car here. 98' eclipse gs. Drove 2 hours for it and he already had car turned on and a lot of white smoke was coming out of the exhaust. As if he knew about the issue so from the looks of it he had it running already to clear white smoke. Test drove it andnit was bogging down and still smoking. He said he changed everything and changed head gasket. Bought vehicle and same day it started smoking also had loss of power. Changed plugs and wires with new head gasket and still had white smoke.May seem like a nice person but deep inside he just wants the money and not sell you good quality vehicles. 82k miles in it and had problems. Please dont sell crap vehicles to people and actually start caring about the quality.

Bought a car from him in October, by November I was having so many problems dash light went out, struts went bad, blinker went out and air bag light came on this place is horrible and I wouldn't recommend anyone buying a car from him! I'm in college paying for repairs on this car every other month, I also didn't know the car was rebuilt meaning it was in a accident and then sold to me! It was never mentioned! I regret buying my car from him! Don't go to him ever ! It's horrible
