I have become a huge fan of Tinley Auto since my previous mechanic retired. Not only are they well educated and experienced, but they have gone to great lengths to address a challenging issue with my car. They are friendly, courteous and above all are fairly priced and honest, attributes you don t always see with mechanics. I am recommending them to everyone I know!

Tinley Park Auto Repair is the only place I take any of my cars. They are by far, the friendliest people to do business with. Always reliable and extremely fair-priced. They go above and beyond. I've been taking my business there for quite a few years now and have never even thought of going elsewhere. Great people and great service! I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Tinley auto, their quality of work showed right after I picked up my car and drove it. I had horrible brakes and had some issues with a smell, they figured it out fixed it, plus many more things they fixed. They do show their work and care for customers. I believe their prices are very fair and average as well.

I dropped my car off at 8am on a Monday and got it back days later. They did say it might take more than a day but they would not call me with updates. They kept saying they would call in an hour or at X time but when the hour rolled around or the time they said there was never a call. They called me a total of 3 times. I had to call them to get any update on my car and when I did get through to them I was left on hold for as long as 30 minutes. When it hit 30 minutes I had to hang up and call back to be put on hold again. They replaced parts on my car without calling me and giving me an estimate on cost so I had no idea what was being put on my car or how much it would be until it was all already replaced. I went to pick it up and the second issue I brought it in for hadn t been done. I had to sit and wait for them to do it while I was paying because they forgot. Honestly I m glad my car is fixed but I won t be returning because of lack of communication in calls and knowing what they were doing with my car.

They did a complete analysis of my vehicle and let me know of things that also should be repaired now or in the near future. They did excellent work on my repairs and I am completely satisfied of the workmanship. I also got my vehicle back in a reasonable time and the price of my repairs were fair. Tinley auto is an extremely professional shop that truly cares about its customers. I ve used them for years and they always look out for your best interest. They don t do unnecessary work in order to charge more! They do only what is needed and keep you up to speed with updates and pictures of the work they are doing. I brought a distressed 13 year old vehicle to Tinley Auto Repair & Towing for a serious issue. They gave me a very honest and realistic assessment of the primary repair cost versus the value of the vehicle and also provided a list of the other work that would really need to be done to avoid future issues and keep the car safely on the road. There was no pressure from them to do the work which I very much appreciated, and they patiently awaited a decision from me for about 2 weeks with my car sitting on their lot. Tinley Auto Repair is clearly a family-owned business that cares about the best outcome for their customers.

Glad your technician Brian was able to determine the issue I was having with my car.The crankshaft position sensorneeded to be replaced. I feel much safer driving now. The assessment I received was very detailed. They even gave me ride back home.Excellent customer service.I am new to Tinley Park, so I'm glad to have been recommended to Tinley Auto.Will be back to have further repairs done. I am the warehouse and fleet manager for a decent size flooring company and we have been using this shop as our sole mechanic for a few months now. I cannot say enough good about Tinley Auto Repair & Towing! They are friendly, efficient, and competent. My 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse is 15 years old in good condition. However, they took care of informing me of parts that needed to be replaced due to the age of the vehicle. Preventative medicine! I had brought my car here for the same reason, not long ago.They couldn't find a code and ran multiple test without success in finding the issue, while having it all day. My car started acting up again with the same problem. So I called them and they said bring it in and they could try to get a diagnosis code. We'll, I was so happy they found something in the history and scheduled me appointment for repair on Tuesday at 8 am when they open. I took the day off of work to resolve this. I never heard from them all day. So I called them at 3:30 and asked if my car was repaired and ready to be picked up? Kat said she didn't have the invoice for the repair and would call me back with an answer. She calls me at 4:30 and says I have to be there in 15 minutes. And also says unfortunately we couldn't fix the issue because it wasn't doing it. They had the diagnosis code! Thank God my husband was home from work. I needed the car for the morning and couldn't miss another day. We rush over to get it and disappointed that they had it all day and wasn't fixed. We get there and Kat says we did do a repair. Why did she say something different on the phone? Seems that know one in that shop knows how to communicate with each other and or customers. I will never bring my car here again.

Brought in my 2015 Jeep Cherokee for starting problems. The dealer could not see me for three weeks. Tinley Auto saw me almost immediately. They performed all the computer diagnostics and a thorough inspection of the entire vehicle. They provided a detailed report with photos and recommendations. It was a wonderful experience that showed me exactly what is needed today and in the future. Tinley Park Auto is one of those honest & reliable businesses that you don t see too often today. I have been a customer for years. I recently asked Tinley Auto to check out a used car I was interested in buying. They did an over the top inspection (THE SAME DAY) at no charge. What more can I say. Usually go to midway area for service. Figured I'd try local because we knew the issue was only a 10$ radiator hose we fixed one ourselves but couldn't get to lower. (My teenage daughters car is a bit on the older side) after a tow we were given a repair price of 680$ absolutely ridiculous! Had it towed to midway even with tow it was only 275$ at Midway! Tinley park auto still charged 288$ for tow and diagnostic fee before it was released! They are crooks save money don't go here unless you want to get overcharged!

Very friendly, knowledgeable and good communication. This was an older car and they worked hard to find the part. They took the car back to the emissions station and it passed. Since I didn t have a ride and only lived 10 minutes away the took me back home and picked me up so I didn t have to wait a long time at the shop while they worked on the car.
