My family has brought many vehicles to Midas in Tinley Park for many, many years. They are the BEST! Mike, Scott and their team are honest, respectful, friendly, and highly professional. They thoroughly explain inspection reports which are also sent for your review, and confirm what work you are approving to be done. They are committed to doing quality work at a fair price in a very timely manner, whether it s an oil change or a more complex repair. We have appreciated their excellent customer service to the utmost and honestly, don t trust anyone else with our vehicles. Last year, I also submitted a claim with their roadside assistance program for a tow from my home to Midas and I was reimbursed within 2 weeks! I highly recommend this location and team!

My brother Andy went to this location in Tinley Park. Scott and Mike were great at explaining what needed to be done on the car. Honest and respectful service team. The car needed a lot done to it and was able to get a very fair price with quality parts. If you need your car to be in good hands come here.

I have been coming here for 25 years. NEVER AGAIN! Mike is rude and unprofessional. And his communication skills are awful! My bill was $2,000 and nothing was explained to me. Only reason I come here is because I trust Scott. But he wasn't there the last two times I was there. Jessie in Palos is awesome too. I will now be looking for a new place for my car needs!

Been going to Midas for years. Mike and Scott always repair my cars correctly the first time. They thoroughly inspect my cars so that when I leave, I know they are safe to drive. I recommend them.

Went into Midas for a leak in the rear differential housing of my truck. Upon inspection, I received a phone call saying I have a small leak in my power steering line. So i agreed to have both leaks repaired(replace power steering lines and rear end seal). Two days later i get a text with a picture showing my mangled rack and pinion and being told I need to replace my rack and pinion, power steering pump, power steering lines $4000 later I get the truck back and their is a problem with my streering. I took it back and they are trying to charge me $350 to fix u joints. After asking if they test drove my vehicle, after the initial repairs, I got a bunch of mixed answers, at this point I noticed a bunch of dishonesty. I will not be going back to Midas with any of my vehicles, I suggest you do the same. Definitely get a second opinion if you plan on going there.

Been going to Midas, and dealing with Mike for probably close to 28 years and Scott for quite a few. They've worked on at least a dozen of my cars/trucks over the years. They've always treated me right, and wouldn't trust anyone else. I'm always coming in with some not fun projects

Muffler repair needed. Scott Bella was very good at explaining the repair. We spoke on the phone before coming in for a free inspection. Work was done the same day within a few hours. Very happy with the customer service and work. will be back again.

Buyer beware. Typical untrustworthy charlatans. I took my car in because it sounded like something was loose underneath. They charged me $15 and said they re-secured the heat shield. I just looked under me car because it was still making noise and this plastic rock-guard is clearly loose. It s such a simple fix, it s obvious no one even attempted to do it. Did they do anything at all? This is what s wrong with the car repair industry today. No integrity. I ll just get the plastic clips from the manufacturer and secure the part myself.

We have brought many vehicles here over several years. Always very fair honest and straightforward. Prices are almost always better than other shops in the area. Scott and Mike are fantastic. Try to schedule an appointment when you can as they can get busy. Despite this they are very accommodating. This is my first call when there is a car problem and will continue to be.

Took my car in for an oil change and headlight replacement and was really impressed by Scott's service and professionalism. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking, plus he clearly cares about what he does and helping people make the right decisions for themselves and their vehicles. Nice to find a shop with folks you can trust. Strongly recommend and will be returning in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This experience, like all previous ones at this location, was exceptional. I always feel like a valued customer instead of a source of revenue. Scott and Mike were very helpful in getting me an appointment that worked with my hectic schedule so I could get an oil change. As part of Midas's Oil Change service they also conduct a vehicle inspection. I had a reverse light that was out and needed a new battery. I checked my vehicle maintenance history and sure enough, my battery was five years old. They were able to take care of the additional issues and still get me back in my vehicle by the promised time. The quality of work at this location is great and the customer service (specifically from Scott and Mike) is exceptional. Best Midas around! Mike and Scott were so helpful. I brought my car in at exactly 7:00AM when they opened to get my car inspected for a break job. They called me at 2:00 and said they're done! For how busy they are, I expected them to at least keep my car overnight. Great service, 10/10 recommend!

We've been using Midas in Tinley Park for about 20 years. Mike, Scott and the rest of the team do a great job. It's hard to trust anyone with the complexity's of your vehicle but this place is honest and they don't try to oversell you on needless work. They save old parts so you can see what the problem was.I highly recommend Midas in Tinley Park for all your mechanical needs.

Just great. Made an appointment at 900 took the car in checked it out for oil change and maintenance on brakes .also asked them to check battery , needed new one. They finished in a couple of hours. Price was very reasonable. Thanks .

I was fortunate enough for the mechanics at this location to squeeze me in for an impromptu alignment and tire change during my recent road trip. One of the mechanics (I wish I could recall his name) understood and validated my concern to get back on the road to make it to a music festival in time, and assured me that the repair will be done swiftly.Now, my car is driving noticeably smoother and I feel much safer driving than I had before. Between new tires, an alignment, and the service charge, the price was fair and the mechanics were thorough and honest with me.All in all, I am grateful for the service I received at this midas location!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

A+ on the customer service, I gave it 2 stars because of their prices. I got a radiator, thermostat, a belt, and coolant flush. Midas was $400+ more than any other quote. I called three other reputable repair shops and Midas was substantially more money.I told the gentleman from Midas about the price difference and he seemed to suggest all the other places were cutting corners. They cost was nearly $1300!!!. I had another shop quote me $880 I started to get it towed to another shop, but the the gentleman at Midas said he'd try to save me a little money...He did, very little...$50 off of a nearly $1400 charge... 10% off or even 5% off would have been nice. As a black business owner, I rarely leave negative reviews. I know businesses are doing their best to navigate these times. AND THEY WERE VERY NICE. Yet, $400+ more seems a bit out of touch. My total out the door was nearly $1400.The moral of this story is this is place was high, dealership high! Shop around. It shouldn't be hard to find better prices from reputable repair shops. Every dollar counts with the price of gas and food. I hope this is helpful.

What a great job Midas in Tinley-Park did foe me! The bracket for my shocks broke on all 4 welds on my classic car. They did a great job welding them back in place! I just wanna say these guys are honest above all. Extremely helpful. One of the best experience I ve ever had at any auto repair place in my life. I came in with a busted hose at the end of their shift and they took care of me, got me back on the road in less than two hours. For me, going to have my car serviced is like going to the dentist. I usually take care of all of my own maintenance but every now and then there comes the occasion when professional help is needed. That's when I can take my car into Midas and I can trust them to have the knowledge and expertise to take care of most problems. The prices aren't cheap as they are no backyard mechanics. They aren't expensive either. They know what they are doing and do it well.

Great service with a smile, way cheaper than the dealer. Got my brakes done in a timely matter, only complaint is after my brake job my brakes squeak.
