Glen at Herman's Auto treated me right. He calmed me down, had my car in to be looked at as soon as possible. I had a front end problem and had other estimates from a Belle Tire, Merlin Muffler chain store, a home and Tornado Auto Repair in Oak Forest all were cheats and liars. They estimated my repairs over $1700 for what actually costed me $125 at Herman's. They are my HEROES...THEY ARE HONEST!!!!All I needed was a true alignment. I had it supposedly aligned last year by Tornado Auto but they lied and didn't do it right. It wore the outsides of my new $300 tires. Which I need to replace I just got them in June they only have 4,000 miles on them. Tornado, Midas and Belle Tire said I needed Rocker Arms, Struts,and several other front end parts replaced. All LIARS..it pays to shop around. Herman's Auto will tell you the truth. I give them Ten Stars and will never take my car anywhere else again. They have been in Tinley Park over 50 years now I know why. Thanks Wally Glen and staff your honesty and knowledge are truly appreciated and is the reason behind your great success.Call Them for Any Auto Repair. You will be happy you did.

Absolutely amazing service. 15 minute phone calls going over what is going on with the car and a very fair estimate as this was my 2nd quote. Lucky for me the best service and price happened to be 2 miles away. Very glad to have found my auto shop going forward. Car was done same day. Highly recommend!

What's not to like about Herman's Auto Center. We had a diagnostic problem and our extended warranty expired with the dealer. Neighbors and family all suggested to go to Herman's. The best customer service hands down. Phil was transparent with his estimate. The turn around time was great. Highly recommend Herman's Auto for all your car repairs.

I have had Herman's do work on my car twice over the years. They are great mechanics. What I really appreciate though is that they are honest and you can trust them. I brought my car in thinking there was something wrong with my wheel, but it was actually just ice build up causing the car to shake. They were up front with me and actually didn't even charge me anything. Great business - they now have a loyal customer!

The service rep was exceptionally insightful, and thorough in answering all my questions. I found this facility to be reputable because they could've very well sold me on something I didn't need at the time of my appointment, yet instead explained to me what I didn't need anything at the moment, but what would be needing in the near future. Herman's you have gained a new customer. Thank you for your professionalism!

Excellent work and reasonable prices. We have been taking our car here for over 10 years. Herman's does a great job with oil changes, maintenance and repairs and the prices are reasonable as well. They are honest about work needing to be done as well.

Can t say enough about how much this company cares about it s clients. We have had a few repairs done here on various cars over the years and service has always been exceptional. I recently needed advice on repairs. Glen took 20 minutes on the phone explaining to me pros and cons and options available. His patience with my endless questions and his advice were much appreciated.

Been taking my cars to Wally Herman for years. Great honest mechanics who do the job right the first time and in a timely professional manner. The prices are fair and they work with your schedule to return your car as quick as possible. Even have late drop offs and afterhour pickups to meet your appointment time. Hats off to Glenn who gives you a great first impression of the place as you walk in the door!.

Just had my car fixed, and while I haven't fully put it through its paces yet, I can say that Herman's was very fair. A guy named Wally worked on my car and he went above and beyond, in my opinion. I'll take my car here again next time. Very knowledgeable mechanics. Thank you!

Love Love Love Herman's auto. Have used them for over 10 years. They are honest and keep you well informed during repair process. Several times the problem wasn't major and something just needed to be cleaned out so they did that and didn't charge me. I highly recommend Herman's!

Brought in my husband's car last month and they fixed the EVAP leak in just a few hours, checked no other codes were showing after a few days and everything was fine -- very quick and great service! Always friendly as well. We'll be bringing my car in and using them in the future!

I have been using Herman's since I've lived in Tinley and value their honesty, thorough explanations, timeliness, and convenience for their customers. An example is my most recent experience with them. I have an electrical issue which is killing my battery every few days because of too many cheap after-market parts being previously installed by Bestbuy.Unfortunately, the fix is still unknown but they did not charge me for the time they spent nor did they try to talk their way out of the situation by making up solutions, they were completely transparent and this saves my time and their's. This is very hard to find with mechanics nowadays in my opinion, as you have no clue what's going on behind the scenes. They were also kind enough to spend time with me on the phone going over alternative solutions. I will continue to bring my vehicle to them for years to come for these reasons above.Services: Electrical repair, Oil change

I've trusted my cars to Herman's for many years because they are very knowledgable and don't try to sell you parts and services that you don't need. They take the time to explain what they have done and why. Important to those of us who no nothing about mechanics.

Went there to get my brakes and rotors done. Staff was very friendly. They didn't take too long, especially given that I didn't have an appointment. Pricey, though.I found a 10% off first service coupon on Yelp. They say they didn't put it up there and don't know anything about it. They still honored it. Still too pricey with the discount.

I had a good experience here. Brought my car in for a belt replacement. My car was completed when promised and there was very good communication throught the repair process. Prices seemed fair and I don't feel as though anyone was trying to rip me off. I'll be bringing another car in soon.

I must say, Phil who was the tech in charge of my Golf R was awesome. Called before doing any work to get my opinion as a fellow car guy as he was doing an alignment. Whoever was working at the front desk, I can t say the same. Needs to work on his personable skills.

Great mechanics! These guys are the best. If you have a car problem, bring it here to hermans they will fix it and have you leaving knowing that the service was great with a fair price! Highly recommended to everyone!

Honest people to do business with. I brought my car in for a tire problem. Instead of inventing a reason to charge me for a new tire, they filled up all 4 tires, said they couldn't find an obvious source of the leak, and did not even charge me for the time they spent with my car. I will DEFINITELY be going back there for future car issues.

The guys at Herman's were friendly and helpful. They got to my van within a day, unfortunately it wouldn't act up for them so possibly a fuel pump starting to go bad.
