Had a duplicate car key made here. Everything was fine until I realized my other key did not work. It turns out there had been an error in programming with the new key. We were charged 30 DOLLARS to get the old key working again. I don t recommend charging your customers due to your own errors

The staff at the Tinley Park location are tops! They were friendly and helpful. My vehicle died without warning after work on a Monday winter night. They got me started so I could get home. I couldn't get a battery until Friday so the service technician told me about an online special and said I could come back for another jump if I needed it. I came in after work the next night, saw different people who assured me they would always make sure I got home.After I ordered my battery early Friday morning a gentleman reached out to me via phone to confirm the details and service I wanted. When I arrived on location, the associate and technician were friendly and helpful. The installation was done quickly but with care and the technician made sure the vehicle started and everything was to my satisfaction before parting ways. The price was right as well!

I don't usually write reviews but I had to do this to save someone else from a bad experience. We brought in 3 watches for replacement, one being a slightly more expensive watch, they completely destroyed the back of the watch with gouaches in the cover and bezel everywhere. The person who worked on it apologized and said we tried a bunch and we scratched it and couldn't open it, the manager at the time STEVE was asked in front of me what their policy on scratched watches is, and his exact response was "it happens" then walked away, i asked for his name when leaving and said I would be going to corporate which I just got done doing to report his location and his terrible attitude and his response was laughing it up as I left and told me go ahead. I'm not the type to complain but this was the worst service I have ever had hands down. Managed to get a hold of the a main office and am filing a formal report and will be seeking damages.

Follow up on my iPone 6 issue- been chasing this business firb9 months for restitution. I sent multiple letters (including certified) and request for replacement - no response, so I have had to file small claims court in this business - will keep people aprised of the results of my lawsuit.Also- their corporate ownership in Wisconsin is a lousy franchiser who doesn't care about their brand or service standards- they fail at customer service. Buyer beware of their fraudulent repair claims. THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR PHONE and will not make restitution without legal action.My photos of their damage to my phone has 1000+ views by potential consumers - so take my advice and your business dollars elsewhere - they will screw you if they fail.Notice the cowardly business owner picks and chooses who to respond to on google reviews - he knows he's I the wrong but doesn't care. He's got my number but is afraid to call me and make good on this matter .See you in court.

Steven Kuta was deceitful in his promise to get our 2013 Cruiser a new key. After finding out the key did not work, we asked for the original key back. Steven was aggressive and unprofessional as he stated he would not give back the key. He then demanded to get $30 in order to get the key back. When I tried to further explain how we did not receive the services tendered and should receive our key back so we can take our business elsewhere, he became physically aggressive and pushed me twice stating he would not give the key back until he received $30. I have never been disrespected by any company and I would not recommend this company to anyone and I will be working with management to get a refund.

My girlfriend and I went here to check the batteries in her key fobs. Jennifer was great!!! The other location, where my girlfriend had purchased the lifetime warranty an the one battery, didn't answer when Jennifer called from the store phone. So, she went out of her way & used her own phone to verify the warranty!!! She was great!!! We recommend this location for everything!!! She is extremely knowledgeable, too!!! Poor service. I paid to have a key fob programmed. Then I sat and waited for them to help an entire line of customers before they helped me. The first time the tech informed me that I was done he had not cut the key on my fob. The second time he informed me that I was done he hadn t even tried the fob to ascertain that it was programmed. I was there for almost two hours today.

Brought 5 watches in for a battery replacement, went into the store thinking I would have to come back another day, but in 15 minutes or less I walked out with 5 ticking watches with the date and time set. Amazing service, would recommend to anyone who requires a battery change.

Fantastic customer service and awesome selection. Mike and crew were absolutely fabulous. Went for watch batteries, ended up getting iPhone battery too after being told at Best Buy phone must be replaced. Guess what phone works great. Mike determined it was only the battery. He even talked to my ex wife (by phone, iPhone is hers) he should get a medal. And combat pay.

Took my Timex Ironman infor new batery. Took forever and tech seemed frustrated and uncertain what to do. When I got home, there was mositure onisde the glass which fogged the screen, and the alarm sound no longer worked. Online, I saw to remove the back of the watch and try a couple of fixes. I went to remove the back, but all four screws were gone! Apparently he'd just glued the back on after replacing battery. Now I need to buy a new watch. A waste of time and money.

The Batteries Plus Bulbs staff are wonderful! My son had a problem with his iphone screen. We went to another place, ifix, and not only was it going to take longer, but they tried to sell us some insurance and I really did not need a sales pitch at the moment.They were able to fix his phone in under an hour.We happen to have an issue some months later. The manager Steve was amazing! He took care of our problem and my son is thrilled to have his iPhone working again.When I found out that they fixed the screens for iPhones, I wasn't sure how they would do. This is where you should go. If you need any of your screens fixed! They are professional, quick, and very friendly. Thank you again to Steve and his crew!

Lost a lot of work off of a laptop that battery had died. Came in already upset bc my dissertation for this semester was among one of the things on the computer that was lost. Was instantly told that there was nothing they could do. I was visibly upset so I understood why they'd get me out of there, but it was very odd that they didn't offer to order the parts and instead just refused service, especially when I wasn't showing anger to them

Manager Steve did not call when a message was left for him the previous day to call me back the next morning. His reason -"They hadn't performed the tests yet" (on a battery that was dropped off at noon the previous day) The correct response of a manager would have been to call me back the next morning, let me know that the tests were not performed and let me know the status of when it will be completed-don't just ignore the message. No excuse for this poor service by a manager! The workers are very helpful.

I would be careful getting car keys made there that have chips. I had a few keys made there and they were able to cut and program the keys from a damaged key which was great. But, while programming the last key they messed up my aftermarket remote start and basically would not do anything to help right the situation. I had to go to a remote installer to reprogram the remote start at my expense.

I went in for FOB battery replacement, the young man at the counter recommend that I purchase the lifetime replacement. I agreedThis morning I visited the Oak lawn,IL location to replace the battery and of course I'm not in the system as lifetime replacement member...eye rollLesson learned, get everything in writing!

Woke up Christmas Eve to a dead, worn out battery. Went to several automotive parts locations only to be turned away due to "cold weather". I called Batteries Plus and not only did they have the battery in stock, they also installed it! Jennifer and the crew was very helpful, and made sure I was taken care of in this extreme weather. A-1 Service!!!

Got my husbands watch batteries replaced at the Tinley Park location 2-21-19 @ 6:00pm. We were so pleased! A reg batterie was $9.99 and a forever warranty was $17.95. It was very fast. The salesman were very friendly and helpful. It is so much cheaper than going to a jeweler at the mall!!! Highly recommend this place.

They fixed our daughters scooter and made everything great.Ran into few glitches that the Manager Steve handled very professionally.it s hard to find a shop that works to leave the customer happy instead of just making profit. And this store went out of their way to leave us extremely happy and satisfied with parts and repairs. They do work on mopeds scooters etc. not just sell batteries.

Staff at the Tinley Batteries Plus were excellent. The website was not so good and had many issues. But the Tinley staff, especially Steve, were excellent at correcting online deficiencies.

Late afternoon order for Security Alarm Batteries and I ordered with discount code and picked up an hour later. The young man working there was probably the most courteous knowledgeable person I came across in years.He was trained correctly by "acknowledging the customer" and multitasking. All without saying...like....well...you know...basically.Valuable resource for sure and the batteries were perfect.

I use my phone A LOT for work purposes so when the battery started dying half way through the day I started searching for a solution. A quick Google search brought up Batteries Plus. I called the store for pricing and availability and was able to get my phone fixed on my lunch break. It was quick and easy! The staff was very knowledgeable and couldn't have been any nicer. I'll definitely be back for any future battery needs.

Mitch jensen operation manager was extremely helpful with all my questions. I bought 2 group 31 and 2 8D batteries there. Price was good but mitch's knowledge was beyond amazing. I will continue to go back to this store cause of employees like him. Ty so much for all your help

I needed a new battery for my iPhone 5s. It was installed in about 15 minutes and they ran a functionality test too. Super friendly employees, quick service and $10 off when you schedule online. Well done!!

Didn't charge me for inserting a spare battery I purchased from them last year! Woman employee kindly took a few minutes to explain how to do something on Apple I phone that belonged to my now deceased husband, and about which I know little. They seem to go the extra mile for customers & I appreciate that fact.

After purchasing batteries online with my boss s credit card I found out that she had to be the one to pick them up. They wouldn't even credit her card for the core charge that wasn't suppose to appear on the card! They wouldn t even give it to me in cash! My boss doesn't live anywhere near the store, it would be impossible for her to pick up the batteries in a timely manner. As these batteries were used for an emergency lighting system it was imperative we get these batteries ASAP! After speaking to several different Battery Plus employee s we convinced them to let me pick the batteries up. Once there I found they didn t have the brand I ordered and there was an up-charge! After complaining they decided to wave the additional cost however, they still have the $27 core charge, and yes they have the old batteries! If they had explained this to me prior to making the purchase I could have made other arrangements. This exchange was not handled very professionally at all! Unfortunately for Battery Plus I have several more large battery purchases to make and you can bet it won t be with them!P.S.I don't blame the store or it's employee's, this was company policy. The employee's did what they could to make the exchange as forgivable as possible.

Friendly, professional, and efficient staff. Absolute life savers when it came to repairing my fiance's IPhone that had a cracked LCD. One happy customer, and my fiance is going to be even happier. If you have a cracked screen DO NOT go to your cell phone carrier as they will tell you it can not be repaired and try and sell you a new phone (thats their job). Take it here!!!! You will be happy you did!!!!!!
