I just found out that Greg Matthew's bought this place and that the original owner Brad Johnson no longer is there. Brad was good to people but I had a terrible experience with Greg Matthew's last year. The mechanic wired my vehicle wrong in the wiring harness and also didn't ground the wiring which led to the entire electrical system in my car arcing out. There was literally fire under the hood. Greg refused to make things right and fix their mistake which then left myself and 4 children with no transportation. Anyone you ask about Matthew's will say they only do demo cars and matchbox cars. I gave it 1 star because there wasn't an option for zero. I would not recommend this business to anyone ever. Greg was very rude and all he did was set behind his desk eating and playing on his phone while his 2 mechanics worked. I know this because I sat there almost the entire day because he said it would be done quickly.

Kenny Albright helped me find the right car at the right price. He was very focused on getting me what I needed and making sure that it was a good deal for me. He was attentive, professional, courteous, and friendly at all times. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a used vehicle that they check out Taylorville Auto Sale and ask for Kenny, he was a great help for me.

Tried getting a car here drove from Indianapolis and they said we couldn t get it bc we live out of state so my fianc�s dad wanted to get it for her an he lives in Illinois an Greg still decided to say no if this were brad Johnson everything would have been a lot more smoother I got my first car from brad an didn t have no issues at all I was told this car had no issues but a messed up number instead it needs a tire sensor an oil change an felt like some more issues that needed to be fixed do NOT recommend this place at all
