My son took his car to do an oil change last weekend. He got an oil change done and was told he had a small leak? On a cooling line? Anyway a worker offered to fix after hours for $300 plus parts? Take 5 isn t a full mechanic shop I don t believe. Anyway the employee Kris or Christian offered his number multiple times. We took the car to find said leak and it was just residual fluid and no leak was found. Oil change was done properly, but why try to offer services not in take 5 facility. I m not sure I ll be returning because I don t like feeling pressured/being lied to. 2 stars do to proper oil change, but bad customer service.

I had an extremely easy and enjoyable visit yesterday for my oil change on my Toyota Prius. The technicians showed me my filter stating that it had more life to it and that I could wait until my next oil change to replace it. They weren't just trying to push product sales. I felt like I mattered more than my money. They also provided a recommendation of a nearby company that could help with my rattling noise, which turned out to be a really great referral. Both men were courteous, communicative, and cooperative while working together to provide me with the best possible service. I don't live in the area but waited until I was nearby to get my oil changed here. It was well worth the wait. I'd love to speak to someone about how staff is trained, it is like no other place I've seen. I give them a 10/5. Thank you again for your service.

Best service by far!! If you have a crazy herd of kids like I do, being able to stay in your vehicle while they work on it is a huge benefit. Grant is great to work with and very friendly.The Dekalb location is my favorite place for the quickest oil change!! If they find something they can t fix they always say something. The guys here really do care about you and your vehicle.

Took my Jeep there. They had the proper oil and filters I needed. Fast service, reasonable prices and properly stocked. The employees were competent, efficient and pleasant. I will certainly be be returning for my next service.

First time here. The staff: Chance, Sara, & Anthony were amazing. I mostly had Chance helping me but overall the 3 of them really worked well together to make the whole experience smooth and efficient. Chance did great communicating recommendations and services for my vehicle.

I had a very nice experience at the Sycamore Take 5. I was greeted by a female mechanic who offered my sister and I cold bottled water while we waited. She readily answered my questions about the 5000 mile oil change. She informed me that my car was due for a transmission fluid change and was gracious when I postponed that service and filled the fluid anyway. I was given my Veteran discount of 25%. (Take 5 is a Veteran-owned business).

Had a very great experience here yesterday with Grant and Anthony. Was greeted with a smile and great customer service skills! They were very knowledgeable, didn t push sales on me, had great prices, fast service and all questions answered!

The employees were very helpful! I had my son with me and needed to get something without him know. One of the employees was happy to grab it when we went a different way and get it all rang up and bagged so it couldn t see. Much appreciated. Given that it is holiday season and a million people shopping, the store still looked nice and organized and not a pig sty!

I am 68 years old and have never had a positive experience with an oil change facility like I did at Fast 5! I was so happy that they had replacement wiper blades and cabin filters. I was also pleased that they were able to adjust the pressure in my tires as well as do the oil change. Everybody that I dealt with here was exceptionally fun to work with. I am looking forward to getting my oil changed there next time!

Quick service, knowledgeable, friendly. Got to stay in my car, which is nice. Changed oil, filled tires, topped fluids. Showed filter, didn't recommend to change (I think a first where I wasn't trying to be upsold on something). Would definitely go back again.

The company is not living up to the customer values originally established. There is only one original worker at the location I visited and she is still very customer oriented. She is pressed to explain the company s new routines: higher oil change prices, the decrease in liters of oil for top off, and the wait time has gotten longer.

The gentlemen working on the day I stopped by were very courteous and professional, they worked so well together to get me thru the process. I really liked all the things Take 5 will do for their customers, like topping off fluids between oil changes. Awesome experience, I will definitely be back.

Great experience, fast and efficient service, kind & friendly staff.My first trip to Take 5 Oil Change in Sycamore was worth it. Although I had a short wait, the staff made it comfortable by providing water and keeping myself (and other patrons) informed.Once in the bay, the staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and engaging. Importantly, I noticed that the staff interacted well with each other and customers. The Oil Change was quick, pricing was reasonable, and the products seemed to be of high quality.Service: Oil change

Great customer service! Super clean and efficient. The person attending to me was a consummate professional. I m also very happy that the Take-5 shop in Sycamore is run by a MILITARY VETERAN. The new cappuccino machine is a nice touch. Always very friendly and fast service. The way the employees communicate gives you confidence that nothing will be missed. Plus you get to stay in your car which is nice. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Cracked the oil pan due to over tightening an oversized plug that was not even my plug that came with my car. They tighten my original plug too tight causing the oil pan to crack which caused the oil to leak, so they installed an oversized plug to get me out the door if you will. They been the only ones who have been maintaining my car oil changes. When I took my car into my dealer for a recall, they performed a multi point inspection they brought this to my attention. I spoke with Grant at take5 . He told me that it wasn't one of their plugs and I said, " Well then where did this plug come from and why wasn't it caught when i came in for my oil change on Dec 31st?" Which he was extremely rude and even swore at me and told me to get out of his shop. All because they don't want to take accountability for their mistake. Grant told me that he wouldn't give me anyone else's number so I could further address my issue and told me to get out that they are the best. I told him that I would like to file a claim if he could do that me for and he said I have your information. So basically I went in and got nothing resolved and out $500.

I was able to get in fast, and the job only took around 15-20 minutes. The staff was very friendly, got to work immediately, and did more than just an oil change that made my vehicle better.
