I was thoroughly please with my purchase experience at Kunes Honda. They had the exact vehicle I wanted and the sale was quick.Kunes Honda was highly recommended by a friend and I will happily recommend them to my friends and family.The sales team were helpful and entertaining. I really enjoyed that they did not leave me waiting for unreasonable amounts of time. And the pricing was unbeatable. Thank you Joe and Mike at Kunes Honda.

Title: Disappointing and Deceptive Experience at Kunes Auto of SycamoreReview:I had a profoundly frustrating experience at Kunes Auto of Sycamore, which was disheartening for my first car purchase. The process started positively with informative assistance from a salesperson, but quickly deteriorated. Initially offered a 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid at 3.9% APR, the finance representative later claimed, misleadingly, that the bank had raised the APR to 7.9%. Sensing deception, I left, only to be called back with a promise to honor the original APR.Upon returning, I discovered that they had removed the extended warranty and Serma protection from the deal without my knowledge, a detail only revealed after I had signed the contract. Attempts to resolve the issue were met with a revolving door of staff changes and empty promises, with no one taking responsibility or offering a rectification.The lack of transparency, accountability, and respect shown by Kunes Auto of Sycamore has been incredibly disappointing. This experience has taught me to be more cautious and thorough in future dealings, but I strongly advise potential customers to consider other dealerships where business ethics are taken more seriously.

If you're considering buying a car from Kunes Honda Auto in Sycamore, think twice and read this first. As a first-time car buyer, I was initially impressed with the service until the process took a nosedive into deceptive practices and utter chaos. I agreed to purchase a 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid at a reasonable 3.9% APR, only to be blindsided by the finance manager who hiked the rate to 7.9% without valid justification, clearly employing bait-and-switch tactics.Despite walking away, I was roped back in with a promise to honor the original APR, but that was just the beginning of the issues. Upon finalizing the deal, I discovered they had unilaterally removed the extended warranty and Serma protection without my consent or knowledge. The aftermath was a circus of unreturned calls, rampant staff turnover including the dismissal of the initial sales team and a disappearing act by management.My repeated attempts to resolve these issues were met with more sales pitches rather than solutions, and zero attempts at rectification. Transparency and accountability are non-existent here. They have shown no regard for customer service or integrity. Buyers, beware: your trust and time might be better invested elsewhere.

Buying my new Ridgeline here was a very pleasant experience.Teresa and Mike made the process very easy. Vehicle features were explained in detail. Whatever was missed I found in the owner's manual. I would definitely buy another vehicle from this dealership. This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Kunes; the other was a Jeep from a different location.

I had to bring my little Fit in for body work and a service recall. Matt and his team in service were always kind and patient, just great to deal with. Dan and his team in the body shop also went above and beyond. I had needed a trunk lock repair for quite some time and being on a limited income simply couldn't afford it. Dan said we will work it out and when I called back to check, told me they had fixed it at no charge. I was in tears and am very grateful.

We had a great car buying experience with Teresa at Kunes Honda of Sycamore! When we went to take possession of the car after exchanging emails and discussing transaction details over the phone, Teresa worked around our schedule to ensure that the vehicle was ready, paperwork drafted and our questions regarding other aspects of the car buying experience had been addressed completely. Teresa and the staff worked hard to understand what we needed and answered all the questions we had before buying the car. Would highly recommend Teresa and Kunes Honda of Sycamore in the Chicago area considering buying a Honda.

My boyfriend and I worked with Dale for a pre-used Honda CR-V and had a great experience! Dale was very accommodating, made sure to walk us through the history of the car and answered any and all of our questions. He wasn t pushy in any way and we felt he really had our best interest in mind! We were able to walk out with the car the same day. Awesome experience!

Such a great experience! Everyone was so welcoming and one of the ladies even brought out some activities to make the experience more enjoyable for our daughter. My wife and I had already visited a couple dealerships prior and this is the only one that took us seriously. I recommend asking for Alexis when you visit this dealership. Alexis and George were so accommodating and helpful they went above and beyond to help us get a great deal. They were transparent & honest and not once were we pressured into buying anything we didn t want. Thank you for our awesome car Alexis and George!

I had such an uncomfortable experience here. I brought a male friend with me but we made it clear that I was the one buying the car. The salesman talked to me more but still primarily talked to my male friend. The manager barely even looked at me and other than a few words, talked almost exclusively to my male friend. I was expecting some level of sexism, but this was over the top. They even tired to hand the paperwork to him and not me! Additionally, they asked for my keys to assess the trade in value, which was fine. They then proceeded to not give me my keys back despite both me and my friend asking for them 4+ times. It took them about an hour and many asks to finally return my car keys. This moved the interaction from aggressive sales tactics (annoying but expected) to downright creepy.

Dale at Kunes Auto Mall Honda was honest, helpful, and able to get us into our 2014 Honda CRV the same day we walked in. He gave us a fair price, a full run down of all vehicle specs, and was not pushy in the slightest when it came to agreeing on a rate and making a deal. He made it feel like he really had our best interest in mind. Will be coming back next time I need a new or used Honda.

Cody Tucker the Service Manager was Stellar in his assistance. I was unable to get any information on my Wonderful Hyundai car purchase from 2021Extended Service warranty. I bought my car when Brian Bemis still owned the franchise. Cody Tucker was able to decipher that Fidelity has the Extended Warranty policy I purchased.

Decided to give Kunes a try because I had some recall work that needed to be performed at a Honda dealership, but didn t trust my local spot to fix it due to poor previous experiences. What my local spot said would take at least 6 hours only took 2 at Kunes! Appreciated the friendly and quick service I received from John Guzman and others I interacted with. We ll be back if more warranty work is ever needed!

I purchased a used 2018 Toyota C-HR this summer which I can confidently say I am displeased with. The transaction was not smooth and my trust was broken before I drove out of the lot. Travis presented numbers to me that he did not follow through with and did not finalize before leaving the building so I ended up paying significantly more than I initially agreed to.I questioned, and still am questioning today, why the buyer is responsible for paying for the car's service performed after trade in. This is a business expense the buyer should have no responsibility for. He even threatened that the price would be adjusted to a higher number if I chose not to purchase the car at that moment.Because this was allegedly a certified used car I overlooked the professional negligence and agreed to the transaction. Unfortunately, the trust I had was ultimately broken, as the services that were promised to be provided, despite my hesitation to pay for them, were not actually performed to the car at the time of trade in even after being charged for them.The car's oil change was not done so I had to go in and claim the free oil change. Still, I kept calm because it was not out of my pocket despite the 3 hours of my time wasted.During the time in which the oil change was being performed, I reviewed the list of services done before certification and (proof still on my car) the windshield wiper blades were claimed to be replaced, but they were not. The original Toyota parts are still on it, parts that the service tech claimed they don't keep in stock. He said kunes would order and replace these parts for me, which I am still waiting on a call for.On October 9th I got an alert that my brakes were failing. I took it to the closest Toyota, grateful that I opted for the extended warranty that I was promised and reassured would be accepted at certified dealerships. At Toyota I was told I needed new brake pads (allegedly replaced at the time of trade in) but that there was damage to the lock on the brake pads done by whoever replaced them last. Allegedly this was performed by Kunes per the service list at trade in. This cost $700 because I was informed that Toyota dealerships don t actually accept the extended warranty that I opted for at Kunes. The extended warranty I invested in for this exact situation that I clarified would be accepted at Toyota dealerships now seems a scam.I have provided reason as to why my trust has been broken, how the customer has not been a priority and why I am not happy with my experience with Kunes thus far.I have seeked legal counsel and was advised to contact you formally to come to an agreement on how amends can be made - minimally, reimbursement of the unexpected expenses thus far. I have documents and receipts from Toyota as well, as the part they replaced I can show as proof.Additionally I have enough reason to ask for kunes to inspect and make repairs as needed to re-certify the car at their own cost.I sent this to all the kunes emails on my record on November 24th and have received no response. Great experience buying a new HRV EX. It was a slower Monday evening, but Andres stepped up. Fair negotiations and ended with a deal.For longer term residents, I purchased from there when Bemis was around and things have improved dramatically.

Worked with Charley Anderson in purchasing a new Honda CR-V. He was fantastic to work with. He took the time to answer all our questions and go over every aspect of the accessories we wanted along with the prices. He called us after the purchase to make sure we were satisfied and question us on any concerns we may have had. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership he made sure he was available to go over all the features and help us with our programming of cell phones. Horrible customer service after the sale. Dealership was supposed to process title and registration. Going on a month and a half and they haven't processed them. Nobody will return calls or answer the phone. Contacting the Attorney General's Office and Illinois Secretary of State next
