Buying a car with Henry and this dealership was, by far, the best car buying experience my husband and I have had. Mike, who handled, our financing, was exceptional as well. Both were knowledgeable, patient, kind and took excellent care of us in a supportive, no pressure environment. Henry supported us through the entire purchase even through the "special" phone call attempts (and ultimate success) with On Star! We are thrilled with our new car, and we know we'll be back and will highly recommend the dealership and Henry to all our family and friends.

My son had purchased a truck the week before and recommended I go visit Tony at this dealership. I had the best buying experience yesterday at Dekalb Sycamore Chevrolet Buick GMC. I was dreading the whole car buying process. Our salesman Tony Hoecherl made everything simple and painless and I was given top dollar for my trade in. Mike, our financial specialist was super friendly and helpful. The dealership is super clean, great waiting area with refreshments too. Both made buying a vehicle a great experience for me and they ve earned a customer for life.

Definitely had a excellent experience. Peyton was completely honest , friendly great salesman. Couldn't ask for better service. I highly recommend him. definitely goes out of his way to take care of his customers.They work with you. No nonsense they work hard for you. Great job Peyton. 10 out of 10. He was so patient and made sure we left with a vehicle that we could afford. We also got an awesome deal.

I took my truck in to get a new key programmed. I gave them extra time to get it done as I did not need it that day. Alex was great in ensuring I had it back before they closed. He is always a pleasure to work with, outstanding customer service. He met me as I was walking in as they had just finished up and let me know someone would go get the truck as I paid for it! All around great job as service seemed to be pretty busy that day!!

Had the best experience I ve ever had at any Dealership. Blane Farris is a one of a kind, personable and honest man and will make sure you are taken care of. He works for you, doesn t push you to do anything and answers all of your questions with integrity and honesty. I would recommend Blane to anyone looking for a car as well as the Chevy Dealership in general.Also huge thank you to John Rivera in Finance Department for helping me get situated even late in the day. These guys are incredible and deserve everyone s business.

I guess I was a bit disappointed.... Last fall my battery needed an emergency replacement! I was so pleased everything was done in a timely manner! At the time I had a sick almost 18 year old dog at home who I couldn't leave for a long time! The service department took care of my car right away! When I was checking out the girl that was explaining the bill told me about the battery, but then added that I had some minor hose leaks that could wait until I brought my equinox in for an oil change in about 1000 miles. She said it would be $1000 to have this fixed! So when I made the oil change I added the hose fix, an all day project! So I got a loaner. I explained that I'd drive the loaner home and put it in my garage until I came to pick up my vehicle. They told me I had to fill the loaner for the gas I used. Ok I'd probably only use a gallon of gas. Well over $12 later I filled the tank! When I got back to the service department I was given a bill for over $1800! And not even an I'm sorry for the extra gas! They couldn't reimburse ME! While waiting for my vehicle I met up with the gentleman who helped me check in, Brandon Rogers, who was very apologetic and gave me a free oil change. Since I didn't have the $1000 quote I was stuck with the $1800+ bill. Wish I had investigated the situation further, and being on a fixed income it was a financial shock!

Wow! My husband and I were on our way to Chicago, driving a Ford Mach-E, we needed to charge up (note to others, there are not many spots along I-88 plan accordingly) we stopped here, unfortunately their new charge service wasn't ready yet...BUT the owner went out of his way to take us to another charge station and let us charge up our car, for free and was super awesome about it. Sometimes it is just the little things in life - little did he know what an awful day we were having and that one act of kindness just turned things around for us.Thank you and if we were Chevy folks and didn't live 200+ miles away, we would definitely come here, just for the service!!

Dustin has been amazing since I begun working with him. He has been very accommodating with communication and has taken time out of his day to navigate me through different options that best suit what I'm looking for WITHOUT a guaranteed sale. Dustin has been professional, courteous, and just overall amazing. I continue to go back to DeKalb Cheverlot, not because of their vehicle choices, but because of the customer service I receive

Best experience ever purchasing a new car. In the past, I dreaded going into a dealership to buy a car. Not at this dealership. No pushy sales people, relaxing atmosphere while waiting for paperwork and I love my new Buick!

I called the Service Manager Brandon and talked with him about the repairs needed. He gave me a quote of "manageable to out of this world" based on a possibility of problems. I asked him for a miracle and he preformed one!!! I highly recommend this service department!!!!

We had searched for a vehicle for a bit. After a few bad experiences, we came across DeKalb Sycamore. We spoke with a few of the staff for a week, which were always able to answer questions, send pictures upon request. Very friendly and honest. We drove 7 1/2 hours to purchase our vehicle and it was well worth the drive. Dan and team were great!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and it took 2 hours! When my car was finally done, I asked the helper if they put air in my tires. He said yes, but then asked me what tire pressure I wanted them at. I ll was a bit surprised because I am not the expert on tire pressure you should be! I also asked him about my engine light and he ran a report, but then looked at it and said he had never seen that error before so he had no idea what it meant! Needless to say I was a bit disappointed on the experience that I had.

I bought a 2018 GMC Sierra Denali truck for plowing snow at DeKalb Sycamore GMC and had a wonderful experience working with Dan P. I was particularly impressed with Dan's work ethic when I called 45 minutes before closing one night and he was happy to help me! I find that rare these days to find someone who still puts customer service first. He was honest, transparent about the process and pricing. The truck was sold as is and couple days later I started having check engine lights. Keep in mind the price for this truck was over 46K.we scheduled for the truck to come and be looked at. Now keep in mind I had no warranty. After determining what was wrong with the truck. It was going to cost me out pocket 10k plus. The Gm and New car manger Darren stepped up and took care of me. They paid for all the work done to the motor and then some. Not only New batteries but a rental car. I fit was not for Darren or the Gm my truck would still be sitting. I also got a great price for trade in. I will ever buy another car/truck anywhere else.I will only go to DeKalb/Sycamore Chevrolet will I will only GMC. I tell all my Friends to go there and see Dan P. Thank you again Darren Hoth and New Car Manager for everything. I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!!

Really kinda disappointed I have a 22 Chevrolet blazer lt dropped off for a 22,500 mile check up vehicle has a hesitation or chugging when taking off between 19-27 mph like the 3rd shift chugs then clears up dealership says it s fine but it never did it before I ve owned it bout 1 yr never did it before ?? Not to mention oil percentage was at 64% they just changed my oil anyway without contacting me was gonna charge me $90.00 I mentioned it so they said oh well knock that off but were charging you for tire rotation I ve bought 2 new vehicles since 2020 from here & just don t feel like a valued customer thru the service department like I can t trust them so my blazer is still chugging I guess until it breaks down they have no idea

This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had! Cassie was personable, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. There is no pressure or sales tactics used. We bought a used car and the price was very fair. Also gave us a fair trade value on our old vehicle. The door was sticking when we test drove. It also had a few scratches on the exterior. Cassie offered to help us find touch up paint, which we were great with. She called the service department while we were completing the sale and they came out and fixed the door within 15 minutes. When we went out to check it, he had touched up all the scratches with paint without us even asking! What an awesome surprise! The next day I found a small crack in the windshield that we hadn t noticed. I called and Cassie got us in immediately, and they were able to set up a same week appointment and paid to replace the entire windshield. This type of customer service is hard to come by in 2023! I will definitely be recommending and using this dealer again!

Brought a 2011 buick regal turbo in to have a underboost code diagnosed. Problem was diagnosed as a bad turbo. Was quoted $3800 for a replacement turbo installed. I declined the service finding it hard to believe the turbo was bad. I was immediately treated like dirt once I declined there service. The way the service ticket was worded made 0 sense. So I brought the car to another large dealership in dekalb. Car had a faulty bypass valve. $176 and car is good to go. Don't let these people rip you off. Im guessing every car has a faulty turbo at this dealership. There diagnostic fee was more than the actual repair cost. Beware

I love the dealership. The people there are always so helpful and nice. From Mike in finance to Alex in the service department. Dan Paul in sales bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with my vehicle purchase and new all about the features it came with. I had an amazing experience buying my first car here! The entire staff is extremely helpful professional and an overall welcoming atmosphere. I was paired up with Chuck and John and let me tell you these gentlemen are amazing. I told Chuck my budget and what I wanted my price range to stay in and he provided plenty of options from their John worked with me financially to get what I wanted they were very supportive thorough and answered all of my questions. I could not have had a better experience for my first time buying a car from a dealership highly recommend Chuck he is an outstanding salesman that actually cares. John. Is in a different department but same personality traits overall good people I will not got any where else

Corrupt dealer that temporarily DELETES MISFIRE CODES to then sell as a bought as is vehicle. Zero protection for the consumer all in order to make a fancy profit and commission. Your responsibility as an auto CHEVY DEALER should be supplying the masses with cars with zero problems, that s why people go to dealers and not by from a private owner.

We bought a Yukon AT4 today at DeKalb Sycamore GMC and had a wonderful experience working with Chuck and Tony. I was particularly impressed with Chuck s work ethic when I called 15 minutes before closing one night and he was happy to help me! I find that rare these days to find someone who still puts customer service first. He was honest, transparent about the process and pricing. We encountered zero surprises in purchasing from this dealership and appreciate Chuck s knowledge about the vehicle and how detail oriented he and his team are in cleaning and preparing the car for us to pick up. We also got a great price for our trade. We are not local but we will be back to see Chuck again when we are ready for our next GMC.
