Everyone at Dekalb Sycamore Cadillac was amazing!!! Our sales rep Cassie made everything super simple from the moment we walked in the door, to when we received the keys for our new XT5. John in finance was great as well. He made the financial side very easy to understand and made sure you know exactly what you re paying for. Those two are the best!!! Thank you for easy and hassle free experience!!!

Went there to look at a car for the grand daughter. They had it on the lot. Older car, but priced right. They actually lowered the price after I had already agreed to buy it. They are a great bunch of people to work with. I will definitely consider them when I am in need of another vehicle.

The honesty and Integrity of this dealership is top notch. They have went above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our purchase. Cassie Lambert was on top of every detail from the start of our search for my dream car. I love my new car. We have told our friends and family about this dealership. For us it was worth the drive to get there...we do no live in Dekalb.

We bought perhaps four cars from this place and were happy. But then we bought a used car for our daughter who is an amputee. It was very important that a car not break down on her. Immediately when we got the car there were problems, we had to take it back in to get it fixed, there became more problems within a month, that I had to have fixed elsewhere. We will never, ever go back to this place again. When I tried to talk to the manager about it he gave me the usual car dealer run around. They're too expensive and dishonest as far as I'm concerned.

The facility is clean and there are many people there. Service desk cashiers are courteous. However the lack of customer service in response to a person who may be looking for a new vehicle, there was none. There is a lack of dialogue in the service department, to let me know that there would be a charge for diagnostic work, after having service done for the same issue.Vehicle checkpoints were done, but the missing rear wiper blade was marked as there and in good working condition. At initial inspection, I was informed that my vehicle was in excellent condition for it's age, aside from what I was getting fixed. One month later and I was told of multiple issues and pressured to trade it in. I responded that I was ignored previously, and that wouldn't happen. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I discovered the diagnostic fee ($80) and was argued with at the service desk by the service technician, who left to bring the issue to his manager.I didn't even mention about the person taking my vehicle to service bay, entering my vehicle without a mask. Then exiting my vehicle, mask on and leaves the drivers door standing open for 10-15 minutes before returning to take it to the service bay.

My son needed a car to get to work and school. Adam responded quickly with the perfect fit for my son. Unfortunately his car was hit by a drunk driver and totaled. But without hesitation we contacted Adam and once again he came through with flying colors. I love the service and care they put In to helping their customers.

Just had one of the best car buying experiences. No haggling back and forth. You can look in the parking lot and no one bothers you unless you ask for help. Very knowledgeable staff. All questions answered. None of this let me talk to my manager. All around nice people.

Everyone there is very nice and there are no shady sales tactics. 5 day money back guarantee is no joke, top notch company. Even though I returned mine in the 5 day return window.. I would do buisness with them again

I recently bought a vehicle form this dealership and it was one of the easiest car buying experiences I've ever had. Chuck Gasso was the one to help me with my purchase of the vehicle and he was very kind and helpful with answering any questions I had. It was a great experience.

They need someway to let people know that cars are scheduled to be test driven at the same time. I went there to inspect a car that my friend wanted me to check out. Waited for the car to be brought back for 30 minutes. 10 minutes to get there and 10 minutes back. 10 minutes to grab my scan tool from a friend's house. Wasted an hours time. Apparently 2 people were scheduled at the same time to drive car. Very incompetent. I am out my time, gas and money. The first people test driving the car took it to another shop and had it inspected and the other shop lost the key. But the first people did decide to buy it. Very poor customer service. Buyer beware. They don't seem to care.

On saturday 12/5/15 I called at 4:30 I was ready to buy a car tonight I'm limited on time so had to be that night, so I went in and bought a car. I found out they were having their holiday party that night so thanks guys for hanging around. I was very pleased with the level of service I got from the team and especially my salesman Chuck Gasso (and of course Mike Forde who has put up with me over the years) they were all so patient and ready to answer any question. But this is what I expected I am not new to this dealer actually I am on my 5th purchase with them. I did buy 2 other vehicles elsewhere in between but always ended up back here due to the level of great service. Over the years I drove on avg 40-50k miles so I really needed a place I could rely on, I wanted a partnership with a dealer. I buy cars every 2 years and need them serviced almost monthly. My son and I take a road trip every year I bring my vehicle in and they do a thorough check. So I feel I have acheived that partnership. They make me feel valued as a customer everytime. The service team ( and especially Brandon Rogers) when I call with a problem they get me in right away. Not being mechanical it really puts my mind at ease knowing I can count on them. Thank you.

I don't know if it's the dealer or just the tool that got assigned to the warranty work on my Malibu? On way home to Wisconsin from visiting family in Michigan and my Malibu with 50k on it slipped time and blew the motor. Ok no problem it's all warrantied. Nearest Chevy dealer happened to be Dekalb Chevy. So they towed my car there and I got a rental. At first the guy was cool and even got me cheaper rates on a rental. But after that it was crap customer service. Dude never answered calls or tex (had his cell number). Took 4 weeks to get my car back. I ended up paying $650 out of my pocket for a warranty job that should have been free. They covered a week worth of rental but they should have covered 2 since it was their fault it took so long. Reason was that he took a week to get car in shop to even look at it then after that another week to contact my warranty holders so they could have an adjuster come look at the car and make sure the damage reported was legit. So that's 2 weeks wasted because he couldn't answer/pick up a phone. So come to find out my warranty only covers 1 week of a rental. So since he took a month to do the job I got screwed $650 in rental car fees the week before Christmas, which left me pretty broke for xmas gifts for my family. Besides that my tire was flat when I picked up the car,and the oil life meter wasn't even resat after the new motor was installed. Engine was dirty and had oil all over. Then to top it off the rental place is blowing up my phone because the ass didn't return the car like he said so they are calling me saying my cars over due. All in all I wish my car broke in the next town over and I wouldn't have dealt with this bs and had my car back much sooner and a lot cheaper. I should have had it trailered to my dealership and it would have only cost me a couple hundred vs $650

My brother had told me about his old friend/mentor Sean, who's a dealer here. He has over two decades of experience as a mechanic. I came to look for a cash car priced at $1000-1500 bucks. Of course, the used cars are sold as is. I attempted to get financed for something newer with a $1000 down payment, but upon checking my credit score they didn't bother to do any hard inquiries, which was great. I was hoping to grab a personal loan from Heights, but wasn't able to secure it just yet (needed another paystub). With pre-approval for the loan, Sean told me that he'd be able to get me into a $2000-2500 cash car. I checked out & test drove an '02 Volvo priced around $2000, which ran well, but couldn't take it home just yet. I also drove a '95 Buick Park Ave, which was the cheapest one on the lot. I believe original asking price was around 900 bucks, but Sean coordinated with the used car manager and got it down to 600, or 1000 even, including addl. fees. It didn't appear to have any major issues, except a possible slow oil leak. It also smelled like fuel when we test drove it. My brother, who also has mechanic experience, and Sean looked under the hood and felt okay about it. Even though I had the money to drive off the lot with the Park Ave, I still wanted the Volvo instead, using the personal loan that I would contingently receive on Friday. Well, I'm very busy, having to commute to and from work twice a day, and going to school twice a week. With my LeSabre on the fritz and few options, I started to panic, then came to the conclusion that I would need to return to the dealership before closing to buy the Park Ave. I headed up there after work, and Sean was sweet enough to give me 10 bucks since I had spent a little bit of my cash. With an even $1000, I drove off the lot with the Buick. About an hour later, I had been sitting in idle for about 10 minutes, shifted to Drive, and the car shut off. Fair enough, it's 22 years old and has over 220k miles on it. It started right back up and got me home, but when I shifted to Park, it shut off again. Then, it started very lightly smoking from the engine. My brother popped the hood and discovered a possible coolant leak. He hosed down the engine, so that we could check it later for any leaks. Later that night, I made a quick visit to a local repair shop, and the mechanic didn't seem to know what it could be. After bringing it back home and sitting in Park for 2 minutes, the engine started to dwindle, then eventually died. The next day, I dropped it off at Motor Works for a free inspection. Suspected blown head gasket, severely dented oil pan, rusted out fuel lines and severe coolant leak from busted coolant elbows. Obviously, repairs exceeded the value of the car. Yes, it was an as is car, but I was appalled that I was permitted to drive off the lot in a car that clearly wouldn't have passed a quick safety inspection! It's also worth mentioning that I sunk my entire savings into it! The blame was on both ends though. I contacted Sean right before closing, and he told me he'd call me back. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I proceeded to Google consumer protection laws in IL, but apparently there aren't any here for used cars. The mechanic stated the obvious, that the car should've been junked from the gate. It became inoperable after they test drove it. I drove in a different car to go meet with Darren Hoth, GM. I explained the situation and told him that I'd like my money back. He initially told me that wouldn't be possible, then proceeded to offer me a replacement trade-in of equal or lesser value on Monday (it was Friday). I refused to accept the offer, and essentially demanded a full refund; it had been less than 48 hours since I had bought the car, so I felt justified in doing so. We bumped heads just a tad, but he later left me a voicemail, saying I could return the plates and pick up my full refund! I was proud of them for accommodating me. Overall, this is a good dealership for new cars, I see their logo on cars all over town. Get cash cars inspected before offering $$$.
