Race motor (383) done here years ago, and other than maintenance, the work has last 20 years of regular dragstrip use. I'm working with Ted now on a new 440 build. Great folks, reasonable pricing, and considered by me to be the local experts (and certainly for Mopar) Ted will work with you to understand the right combination, rather than just run your wallet dry. These folks are highly recommended compared to Hughes and others.

Just picked up my 1967 Mopar 383 block which was cleaned bored and finish honed to fit my pistons. Very Very pleased, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ted is very helpful and a genuinely nice person. Quality of the work looks to be over the top. I have done several builds, dealt with many many machine shops, this one looks to be one of the best. Clean, Courteous and very reasonable, Oh and by the way, first time I have ever had machining done when I was told it would be. I opened the plastic, seriously looks like a brand new block ... GREAT PEOPLE, Thank you Opel Engineering, will be back again for sure.

If you are looking for a machine shop you could trust to be honest and communicative, look no further. I took my Nissan 300zx engine to Opel Engineering and they did not disappoint. Ted used to do machine work on vg30dett back in the day when Ultimate Z was around. Needless to say they still have a torque plate for that engine. Their work is quality and they have been helpful and accommodating.Sandy works at the front desk and she provided outstanding comminication informing about the progress, and asking questions. Pricing was reasonable as well.
