I had a fantastic experience with AW Auto Repair. The lady who I spoke with on the phone was so nice and explained everything thoroughly. The mechanics were also very kind. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area - I already referred a family member to them

We have been going to A.W. Auto for many years and they are the most honest and reliable auto shop you could ever hope for. I never worry about being overcharged. Their pricing is much better than other places and their mechanics have been in the business for decades. I highly recommend them to everyone!! I have been coming to this shop for over a year now. Michelle and her staff (dogs included) have always been very friendly and easy to do business with. Michelle has a way about explaining vehicle problems, and why they may happen, in a way that is understandable for someone who isn t familiar with mechanics of a car. They always seem to go out of their way to find the reason for any issue I ve had with my car and/or stayed a little late to make sure my car is done as quickly as possible -but still taking the best care of everything. Honest, great quality work, reasonable prices, and fast! I had an oil change and my brakes done. They were so friendly and respectful. They listened to my concerns. Turns out that I didn t need all the work that I anticipated. They explained everything clearly. I had the work done about 2 weeks ago - everything is great! They are so nice and kind. Henry (their dog) is awesome! I will recommend AW to everyone.

AW is a wonderful little shop. The staff is incredibly professional, they're timely, offer fair rates for parts and labor, and even make sure to follow up on repairs to make sure their work holds up. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back in for any future maintenance or repairs.-Update Sept. 2023Still stand by everything I said about AW Auto. Both me and my wife trust AW with all of our automotive needs. I just had problem with a tail light assembly 3 days before leaving to go on my honeymoon. AW was able to help me out and completed the work within a day to make sure my car was trip ready. They really are the best.You can't go wrong with this shop. A&W has restored my faith in that good honest people still do exist. Very professional and timely. I've had such a terrible time with my Kia and the dealership. I've been meaning to write a review but never got around to it! A few months ago, I took in my 2014 Camaro with a heater/AC problem. The problem came to be inside the heater core, which I was told from multiple parties was a very laborious job.After some research I decided to take my car to AW Auto Repair and I'm very happy I did. Michelle was very kind and attentive from the start, the labor that was done was excellent and the issue was repaired. Since then I haven't had a problem with the heater/ac. Michelle & Rick are very honest & have consistently delivered great results for me & my family when I need to bring any vehicle in to be serviced. It is very hard to find good, honest & hard working companies that you can trust in today s world, but A & W is one of those companies. They are fair, professional, and responsible. Not trying to ''sell'' you something that you don't need.I can't imagine going to another place after visiting this repair shop.Michelle is very friendly and polite. I bet that the mechanics are not only knowledgeable but also great people too. I've only been here one time and I can tell you that I won't be going anywhere else from now on. From the moment you walk in and until the last step you take out, you're treated with respect. Ive been to this place a few times to do some service. They are competitive with their prices and they are honest with their recommendations. All I can say is the Michelle is the best. Even my fiance is bringing her car here for service. It's a bit of a drive for me to get here but it is worth it!

I m new to the area and Discount Tire recommended AW to me for an alignment after buying a new set of tires. They were able to get me in for a last minute appointment, and the service was excellent! Michelle and her dogs were super friendly and very accommodating. I will be back!

Absolutely love their customer service, prices and work. It is the best auto workshop experience ever. Michelle is a gem, and you may see her at the front desk, tell her the medical student with the black Lexus sent you. No need to think, you will not regret it.

We had our 2011 Lincoln MKX serviced at AW and it was noticed that the break booster was not working, so Scott looked it up and found that it was under warranty and even called the Ford dealer to check. I was able to bring the car right into Ford and have it serviced that day. AW treats us like family and always provides professional outstanding service! They are honest and do great work which they stand by. I would highly recommend AW to anyone who needs reliable car repairs or maintenance. Thanks AW and keep up the good work!!

AW Auto Repair always does such a wonderful job on my car and is always so pleasant on the phone and in person. Just days ago I took my car to have the hood latch repaired, but while it was there they also ended up changing the oil and letting me know that one of my tail lights was out so they could take care of that as well. Their prices are always reasonable, and they look out for their customers, honestly telling them when something is not worth the money to fix, unlike other repair shops who take advantage of the situation.

AW auto repair is the most honest shop I've ever been to. I've had my brakes done there as well as an EGR replacement and I have to say, the quality of service simply cannot be beat. Scott and the gang get the job done quick and correct, every time.I look forward to many more years of being a customer at this gem of an auto repair shop.And they always remember my name!

My husband and I are so happy we found an honest place to bring our vehicles!!! Michele is a doll and I love how she works with us and makes maintenance of cars as painless as possible!! A plus for us has been the outside financing available to make more costly repairs affordable to our family's budget!!!

I don't usually write reviews, but I just have to for this one. Before I start, I just want to say, If you're reading this review, and don't know where to get you car looked at, LOOK NO FURTHER, The people here are amazing.A few weeks ago, I started having serious trouble codes on my 2001 tahoe. (lean, codes, misfire, no start, ran horrible) I knew that It had to be checked out and properly diagnosed by someone with experience and GOOD technical skill. So, I started googling repair shops close to my home in streamwood and came across AW auto. First thing I do is read the reviews, then I call. I put my trust in them, and decided to take the truck to their shop. The guys at AW auto carefully started running several tests, scanning the truck, and finding several faulty sensors and components. (all while they were aligning my wifes Cobalt). Precisely what I was looking for when I knew My truck needed attention. Thank you AW team, Thank you michelle for the hard work and dedication. Great people, better service. This shop literally saved me hundreds of dollars verse the competition and gave me updates the whole way. I couldn't be more pleased and will continue to use this shop even if I move a few miles away. Lifelong customer after my first two experiences. Highly Highly recommend, even if it's a bit of a drive. You will be happy you did.
