We ve been bringing our cars here for years and always have top notch service. My son went to a different place that was closer to where he lives and got the run around for two weeks. He stopped in Wilkersons yesterday and they quickly took care of him and he was on his way. I can t thank them enough for helping him out on a busy day. You guys are the best!

Can express enough how grateful my family is to John and the team at Wilkerson's. On our drive back home to Michigan our alternator went out. Not only were they the most reasonably priced shop around, they were extremely accommodating and quick with the repair. They even picked me up from our hotel to pick up my vehicle. Thank you to the team for getting us back on the road and making a tough situation feel less stressful!

Although we were not able to wait for the first available appointment, Joe was thoughtful enough to call me back and make suggestions to solve the issue. I would definitely utilize the next time I need service.

Staff was friendly and communicated both clearly and respectfully. What my car needed was diagnosed within several hours of me dropping off and was ready by the end of the workday. I definitely recommend Wilkerson's for any service your car may need.

Gold Star! You normally need three "atta boys" to get one of those, but Wilkerson's has mastered society's seemly lost skill of customer service. Everything from my initial call to schedule my truck in to the pick up of my repaired vehicle went smoothly. Both John and Joe handled my concerns in a manner that guarantees my continued loyalty. How's that done, you ask? by listening to me describe my truck's current issues, the mechanics doing a professional job, and the courtesy drivers delivering me to work and back.

I can t say enough about Joe and his professionalism. He s honest about what s going on with your car, he gets you in when it s convenient for yourself, and he knows what he s talking about! I highly recommend the Wilkerson s Service Center! We were driving across country from Green Bay, WI to Austin, TX over the holidays (thanks Southwest Airlines for cancelling our flights) and unfortunately got a flat tire while in Springfield. We called Wilkerson s to see if they could check our tire and they were extremely accommodating even while having a busy day. They were able to patch our tire quickly and had the best customer service!! THANK YOU!!!Service: Tires

Addition to my original post: Took my vehicle in for service and cannot be more pleased. If you are looing for an honest and fair mechanic that fixes your car the first time use Wilkerson'sWilkerson s is the hard to find honest mechanic your looking for. I have been taking my 4 vehicles here for over 10 years. They fix it right the first time

One of the last honest shops around. These guys balanced my tires to take care of a vibration I have been dealing with. One of their Technicians accidentally made a tiny scratch on my wheel, (they had to show me), but they were honest and didn't charge me a dime for the work they did. Stuff happens but not every shop would be honest about it. These guys are the best. Thanks Joe!

Diesel Truck had wheel hub go out while driving, Wilkerson's went above and beyond to make sure everything, not just the immediate issue, was fixed before letting me out on the road. They ARE professional, courteous, and treat you like you are close friend. Service done right the first time without being over priced.

Decreased review stars because 6 months later I needed new roters. They must have used poor quality parts ... They did get us back on the road.Great service! We were stuck 300 miles from home because of brakes. They fixed us up in good time. They were curtious, fast and didnt overcharge. If i were a local, they would be my mechanic shop!

I had a car emergency and didn t know what to expect when I used Wilkerson s. I have to say that the experience left me impressed. The staff was helpful and courteous. When I called to follow up, they answered right away. John Cagle went out of his way to explain the problem and how to get it fixed. Their pricing was very fair, and my car was ready sooner than promised. It s pretty clear they don t take their customers for granted. I would strongly recommend Wilkerson s to anyone who needs to have work done on their auto.

Overall the service at Wilkerson's is excellent. Their prices are fair and their work is top notch. It always stinks when you have to spend money an auto repair/maintenance but they make it a bit less painful. This is my primary garage for oil changes, tire repairs, alternators, etc. I have never purchased tires here but would consider it.

Joe at the counter has awesome customer service. One shop told me I needed new calipers on both passenger and drivers side. Wilkerson checked it out, ready to do the work and found they were fine. They saved me a good chunk of money. I adore how they stand by their work.

Wilkerson's was able to correctly diagnose our car problems in a timely manor. This car had been to 3 different shops before and issues were not able to be identified or fixed properly. John was in constant communication with us on the findings and very professional in explaining everything to me so that I fully understood what was needing fixed and why.

I've been taking my cars here since I could drive one. My mom said Wilkerson's always does a great job. Recently I had an issue and drove straight here because my dealership couldn't get me in and Wilkerson's were the first to pop in my mind. In the end they were able to reset my car sensors and told me if they came on again to bring it in. So far resetting the sensors did the trick and I greatly appreciate them taking the time to check my car out and reset my sensors for me. Highly recommend Wilkerson's because they value their customers and the service they provide.

No one wants to deal with emergency care repairs while traveling, but this store made it more bearable. Coming back to my hotel after a day of job training to find a flat tire was frustrating. When I first got my license (many, many years ago) my dad and brothers made sure I knew how to change a tire. Unfortunately Ford decided that that particular model/year only needed a pump and some fix a flat instead of a spare. So I was pretty sure this was not a DIY project for me (thanks Ford!). I did some searching on the internet for a place that could help. This place was close to where I was staying and they had a nice well laid out website. Everyone I dealt with was awesome. From the first phone call, to the tow truck operator, to the staff at the store, everyone was really pleasant. The total cost was not too bad either. Now I can make the trip home to my family with much more confidence. If I was local to the area I would very much use this shop again.

Passing through Springfield (Travelling between Canada and Missouri), we blew a tire on the highway. We put on the spare and after a quick internet search, found Wilkerson's near by. We got there around 4 and even though they were swamped, they said to bring in the tire and they will have a look.After an inspection, it was obvious that the tire was unfixable. They did not have a new comparable tire in stock, but they did have a 2nd hand one that they would give me for $45. I actually preferred this solution since the age was a closer match to the remaining 3 tires.They removed the damaged tire from the rim, put on the new (2nd hand) tire and installed it on my car for the $45. I really appreciated that they helped me get back on the road this late in the day when they were so busy. And all with a smile.Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement

We were traveling and needed help with our car while trying to get home. Wilkerson's was so helpful, thorough, quick and the price was less than we anticipated too! Needless to say, we were very pleased and thankful. At least glad we had troubles around Springfield, Illinois, so that we could get our car serviced here!

Wilkerson's staff were great. Found the leak in my tire but were not able to repair it (through no fault of their own) and did not charge me. Very helpful and honest!

I had a leak in my tire caused by a nail. It couldn't be fixed with a regular patch. I went to Wilkerson's. They looked at it for free. Patched my tire for a very reasonable amount, Told me that it was guaranteed for the life of the tire. I was on my way home in no time. The people I dealt with were so nice. I had already recommended them to a few other people before I even got home.
