They completed my oil change I think lol. They gave me a print out of everything that was checked and it told me that all my lights were good including my right reversing light that has been out for a few years. They aren t the most professional group of young men but I hope they do what they are supposed. I would only recommend in an emergency. Like if your due and can t get into your normal tire and lube.

I set an appointment days in advance, along with ordering the correct tires for my car ahead of time. When I arrived, I spoke to the man who was working, a big man with a scruffy beard and glasses, and I told him that I had made an appointment for 7 am of that day, I was there exactly on time. What he did was laugh in my face. He then told me that they didn't have enough people to open the shop. I was upset because I had made this appointment days in advance, and I was never notified of any issues. It is also extremely rude and inappropriate to laugh at a customer, especially a customer whose first introduction was to say she made an appointment, and was there at the exact time. I told him that I shouldn't have been able to make an appointment if they were unable to install my new tires, and eventually he made a call and got someone to come over to help. The person who came over to help walked away and went to get the register, and my boyfriend asked the man with the glasses how long he thought it would take. The man got an attitude with him and said something along the lines of, "you're seriously asking me that? How would I know how long it will take?" So I told him not to talk to us like that and that he was being rude, and he told me that he did nothing wrong and basically said I was attacking him. By this time 15 minutes had passed, and I feel that I was rightfully upset that he was being rude to me AND my boyfriend who did nothing wrong. After this the man with the glasses walked away and a woman and an extremely nice man helped me get signed in. We went to walk away and go home to wait for my tires to be installed, and I hear the man with the glasses loudly talking about me and saying how ridiculous I was, stating that the shop couldn't possibly be opened exactly at 7 am, and that nothing he says is ever right, that I shouldn't have been so rude to him. I'm not one to get angry at employees unless there is good reason, I know what it's like to work customer service and there is never any reason to treat a paying customer that way unless they have truly stepped over the line. We left and luckily it didn't take much time for the tires to be installed and I got my car back. They seemed to do an adequate job, but I will say I would rather pay hundreds of dollars more than to ever go back to a Walmart Auto Care Center. That's what I get for attempting to save money. Never will I ever get a car service done here, no matter how much it costs me. People such as the man with the glasses should never be able to interact with people. Perhaps the reason that he finds everything he says to be countered and attacked is because he is an insufferable a--hole that doesn't know how to treat people as human beings.Therefore, if you would like the emotional distress along with the low prices at this place, feel free to get your tires or your oil changed here. If not, go somewhere else.If I could give negative stars I would.XOXO,Megan.

I'm giving a two because two of the gentlemen in the bay area were extremely helpful! I ordered the wrong size apparently, called and the guy said they could switch it out in automotive, no problem, pull up and we will swap it out and put it on! I get there and the man at the counter was mad where I parked, told me I had to take wrong tire to front, return it, comeback blah blah blah. Long story short, he wouldn't allow the tire to be put on.... Had them put in on actual rim, left flat donut and wouldn't install THEIR tire! I was there for an hour and 30 minutes and was THE ONLY customer there!!! Walmart, you really need to JUST STOP TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING!! SO MANY RULES, TAXES, ETC ETC ETC. STOP BEING GREEDY AND JUST HELP YOUR CUSTOMERS AS WE HAVE YOU!!!!! I bet the tips of this corp have never had to drive on AA donut, after working 40 hours a week, to get denied every service but charged EVERY TAX!!JUSST A WEEK AGO, you guys ruined my son's entire Christmas. I am beyond sick of AMERICA!! I work too hard for NOTHING!

The workers were nice and very helpful with my needs. They fixed my tire issue and put oil in my car and have had no issues i would recommend for tires and oil change.

Whoever is in charge of running the tire shop I'd fire.Thid place is horrible.Nobody answers the phone and who knows if it warranty works at this Walmart. Benn sent to 6 Street 4 times 4.differant vehicles.

This experience was kind of a mess as an appointment was made and other people were taken first and what was to be done was kind of more complicated than it should have been.

Need to change there policy so a person can buy tires ahead of time so the tire is there. At 607 pm on Wednesday and was told they had 8 in stock. Went in next day after work and no tires my size needed.I was so upset. THE POLICY NEEDS CHANGED!!!!!!!

I made an apt. here in advance to replace two tires on my vehicle. upon arriving, I am greeted by an employee who reluctantly tells me that I shouldn't have had an appointment since it was near closing time and proceeded to shut the door on me. Thankfully, the one who set me up was there to correct him.After my tires were put on and I was driving (didn't even leave the parking lot), I noticed a problem that made me feel uncomfortable to drive home. I go back in and was told they were closing early (unannounced) and when I mentioned the issue the employee who initially greeted me began cursing me out and eventually agreed he would check the problem. Nearly 1 hour later, I am told Walmart will have to keep my vehicle overnight as there was no one to work on it until the next day. Initially, I was told it would take 30 min. and I end up waiting nearly 2 hours just to have my tires replaced.What is really unfortunate is I live out of town and was stranded in the Walmart parking lot (thankfully I was able to crash on a friend's couch that night). The next day I go back to get my car which was thankfully fixed by a new team that morning and am finally able to go back home.This was an absolutely awful experience and I would highly recommend anyone go anywhere else other than Walmart Auto Care Center. I feel sorry for the people in Springfield who only have this option for auto care. I understand times are tight on staffing and tempers can flare; however, I personally feel the treatment I received was very poor. If I had known I was going to have the experience I did, I would never have gone there in the first place. I wish I could go back in time and take back that whole experience and go somewhere else instead.

I work midnight shift so I specifically made my reservation for 9am.i bought 2 brand new tires from Walmart website and they emailed me that they were there before I made my appointment to get them out on.I arrived at 840, was told they couldn't find my tires by the young kids "working" the auto center desk. After 2hrs they finally found my tires right where they were supposed to be. The same place the young kid said he looked. Then it took about 90min to put on 2 tires. Needless to say I didn't get home until 1pm. Completely wasted my day.

If I could give less stars I would. I am normally a happy go lucky person, and I let a lot of things slide. I brought my car here for just a tire switch due to a flat at about 3 pm. The gentleman at the desk said it should be quick as there was one car in the bay and he would give me a call when it was done. A few hours go by, I still hadn t received a call. I tried calling for almost an hour- no answer. We arrive to the auto center at 6- and the bays are closed and all of the employees went home. Apparently they decided to leave early (center closes at 7). I am from out of town and they literally closed early, without notifying me that my car was done. I am extremely upset. It would be one thing if you were busy and couldn t get a second to call- but to close EARLY and not notify your customer?! I do not recommend coming here.. and a very angry customer will be returning tomorrow.

I took my flat tire & rim to the automotive department. I received a call letting me know the new tire was mounted on the rim & ready for pickup.A family member suffered a heart attack, so I was unable to get back until the next day.When I did return, there were already two others in line. The man indicated that he had been waiting two hours. The woman said she had been there well over an hour. My wait was well over an hour, also.The employee who was there when I purchased the tire had a great deal of trouble working the computer on that day, as well as trouble writing up the work order.He had to ask the mechanic what to write for a simple removal of a flat & mounting the new tire on the rim.When I returned a day after the tire was said to be done, and saw the same employee struggling with the computer, I knew I was in for a wait.Walmart staff should at least know how to work a computer. They should also have at least some knowledge about the department they are working.

Dalton, the one who was working on our car was amazing. He was working with us as much as possible to get us our best options and stuff; however, the people at the front desk are horrific. I was ignored for over 30 minutes while my car was outside and ready to go. All I needed was to pay. They kept talking to each other and going on breaks and helping everyone else BUT me. I was standing literally right at the desk. One lady said, "hold on one sec. Ill be right with you." And then helped someone else and went on a break. I was planning on going tomorrow to get new tires but not anymore. Id rather pay a high price for tires and deal with people who actually know how to do their job at the front desk. Again, the mechanics were fine. The people who actually worked with people were awful. Never again.

Was told an hour wait, wasn t even started at the end of one hour. When I questioned the wait, service clerk got very defensive about it. She simply had to tell an hour plus instead of an hour. I would expect it to be at least started if told one hour. Funny how after I complained my vehicle was suddenly taken in. I believe they skipped my turn in rotation. Extremely unprofessional customer service.Service: Oil change

Very efficient and helpful. It turned out that I had a cracked rim. They held my spot, while I got a replacement & installed the 4th tire, as soon as I returned.

I've never wished for the ability to give zero stars before. We are on the road with tire issues and Google maps showed that the tire center was open. I've called 7 times now and the tire center won't answer, were unable to get a manager or help in any way. Collectively waited 30 minutes on hold for absolutely nothing. Your customer service is absolutely tragic.

My vehicle was stranded, tire completely flat had to be at work in a few hours. I called Walmart they were so helpful. I told them I had to work the night shift, needed my tire fixed, and needed to try to get in a nap before work. I dropped off my car, they replaced all four worn at once, in less than 2 hours. I got a desperately-needed 2 hours of sleep before , and still made it to work on time. It meant a lot that I could trust them to get my car done on time. Theycouldn't have been nicer for more professional.

The last two times I was there this place was a disaster. They were unorganized, rude, and chronically late. I feel like this place needs a strong manager or two and they need to get rid of the people that are not there to serve customers. I feel like the GM of this particular Wal-Mart does not realize how bad the automotive department is. On the flip side, their prices are fantastic. But when you have to block out half a day (or longer) just to get your oil changed it simply isn't worth it. Add to that the chaos and poor management and it becomes a clear NO!

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE! They did not hook back up my air filter causing my car to brake down and had to be towed and repaired!

Called the auto center to see the wait time for an oil change and tire plug. There was no wait. Was there within minutes. Check in and waited and waited. For 3+ hours. With kids. For a simple oil change, and tire plug. So if you want to wait for 3 hours +. Go there. Next time I'll take it somewhere else.

Pam did an outstanding job handling some very disgruntled customers. Was extremely helpful with me and did her best to keep me updated on my wait time. Having spent five hours in Walmart that day waiting for service, she made what could have been a stressful and frustrating ordeal tolerable.

Open every day except Christmas!While they are not the best at answering the phones, the service was good! Had to drop in and get a headlight fixed and they were able to get my car in and fixed. It took some time but it was worth it! Very efficient!

This wasn't the Walmart "auto" dept, it's the whole store! It HAS been an awful shopping experience for months and it just keeps getting worse with time. Whoever is running the N. Dirksen Parkway store needs to take a course in Business Management or step down. Walmart is where I go when I run out of all other options. I detest going there to shop anymore and everybody I talk to shares the same sentiments.

Wanted a turn rear signal bulb replaced only time frame was quick told them 20 minutes was all I had. 45 minutes later got my keys back I was then informed there was only 1 person working I'd never have waisted my time if they'd said that

I am giving Walmart automotive 2 stars because of their customer service. I had my car in there and got a new battery about 6 weeks ago.. Today my son got stranded at work because the battery was dead.. My husband took off of work to take a look at it and saw that the connections weren't tight on the battery so he fixed it. I decided to call Walmart to let them know what happened.. I was NOT calling to complain but to let them know their worker didn't tighten the battery good enough.. All I got was an excuse saying well, if they didn't tighten it properly it would have had a problem sooner.. REALLY??? What the? I am not stupid.. the clamp worked itself off of the post because it wasn't tight.. there was no time limit on how long it can take.. I was not happy because again.. I was letting them know for THEIR benefit and so it doesn't happen to someone else. I felt that I was talked down too.. The person said they would pass it on to management but when I called I asked to talk to the manager and she acted like she WAS the manager only to find out she wasn't so she lied to me.. I won't go back to Walmart again.. I have not been treated so badly by a automotive place. Next time I will be sure to go to Wilkersons or A1 Auto in Sherman. I don't need to be talked to like I am stupid and I don't need excuses and it to be pass on like someone did it on purpose... TERRIBLE customer service. Just Terrible!!!

Went to get tires put on my truck, I ordered them cause they didn't have them in Stock. When the tires arrived they were not the ones I ordered but they were the same price, so I told them put them on anyway. Four hours later and a trip out there cause they don't seem to answer the phone, I'm informed they couldn't get them on. Incompetence or just laziness I don't know, but I know I took a half day off work and wasted a lot of time for nothing. Don't go here unless you have time to be toyed with. Oh and after they couldn't get them to fit they tried to sell them to me still, a joke really but what else can I expect from these discount mechanics.

Not a bad price &they do great at it but my problem is like always I get screwed on time here. I get here &I'm told I'm next after 1 of the 2 that were getting worked on were done,a hr&a half later they finally bring my car in. Both that were before have been gone&several that came in after me also done &gone. I come here cause it's closest cheapest place near my house but I won't come back here again for auto care!
