My father and myself are beyond thankful and appreciative for the solid and "honest" customer service that we receive from Tuffy Tire Auto Service Center... period!! We received ridiculous quotes from -2- other auto service centers, and it was Tuffy who was honest of the repairs that "actually" were needed"! Be sure to ask for managers Mr. Ray -or- Mr. Steve... they will take care of you with integrity & transparency. Sincerely... Anthony Woodson!

I was forced to use this place for service because my car stopped on the road and they were closest place for me to fix it and it was the end of the day. My alternator has died. After performing a test in my car they told me it had no voltage and how much cost to replace it would be. They promised it will be ready next day. Total cost was $360 for remanufactured alteenator with unknown brand and 3 hours work. Total i end it up paying about $800. They called me next day to pick up my car saying my dashboard doesnt show turns. It was working day before. i dropped my car off. They told me to call Nissan dealership to update softwear. After driving my car less than a mile like blind and deaf i stopped and called Nissan. They told me after replacing arlternator softwear update isn't required. I called Tuffy again. They said they have no clue it was working before. I asked them what brand they installed on my car since warranty was only for two years. A guy on the phone said it was ProFormer. I didnt find any in the internet. I asked them to show prove of purchase of my part, they told me to come to the office. When i came , he refused to give it to me saying its against policy but showed me the box , which indicated absolutely different brand he told me on the phone. They refused to fix a problem. They took advantage of me as a woman and a person with accent. They ripped me off on prices. After leaving that place i ended up fixing my car paying $135 more. They absolutely dont care about customers like me and my safety , letting me drive in the car with such issues. If there are customers in their comments mentioned they paid $25 instead of $6 in other places, i would seriously think before you folks use their service.

These guys took great care of me! With zero knowledge in cars, they were straightforward and honest and didn t overcharge me for unnecessary things. I was in and out in less than 1 hour and they fixed three things in my car. I have great respect for the workers at Tuffy and will continue to bring them my business in the future!

I took my car to them because my engine light was on. They ran diagnostics and replaced a purge valve. The engine light came back on several more times for the same issue. They never charged me after my initial visit and even gave me a free oil change for my troubles. Steve even went as far as texting me for updates to make sure everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend Tuffy Tire & Auto. Zach was very friendly and helpful when I called because my car was overheating on the highway while I was on my way up north. This was the only place willing to help me out close to closing time the day before New Year s Eve. Zach put himself on the job and did his absolute best to get the job done so I could get back on the road the next day. He went above and beyond great service by providing a ride to and from the hotel I had to stay at that night. I was very impressed by service provided here and highly recommend this place.

Tire repairAfter visiting 2 shops that were not able to get me in for 5 hours, I was directed to Tuffy s. I spoke with Ray, he looked at the screw in my tire. I explained I was 5 hours from West Bend Wisconsin and needed to get back on the road. He got a tech on my truck in 20 minutes and an hour later I was back on the road! Awesome service for a stranded motorist Thanks for saving my bad day!

Gave a thorough and insightful pre-purchase inspection on the odyssey I was looking at. Drove in to look at it from out of town and was in a time crunch but they worked me in. 10/10 would return!

Tuffy's is a great place to go that I trust as a female. They are not overpriced and even my last visit I had a small repair but Steve was very kind and set me on my way with the car fixed and at no charge you cannot beat that. I tried to set up an appointment to get my oil changed but they were booked full. They told me to drop it off and they would get to it. I forgot the first time and they were more than willing to let me pick another day. I was late on that day as well. But they went out of their way to change my oil AND rotate my tires, replace my wipers, replace my hood clips and other things. They did it all complimentary and I would recommend this location to anyone. The guys working there are down to earth and very helpful.

The owner(Gary) I believe usually treats my aunt very fair. Recently she needed battery in her key fob replaced and they charged her 25.00. You can go to almost any dealership and have it replaced for 6.00 or less. Loyal customers come back because they TRUST you!

I would highly recommend Tuffy Tire & Auto Service. I had not previously used Tuffy but went there on a recommendation of another repair shop. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to get my car in quickly, found the problem, discussed options for the repair, and fixed it correctly the first time. Zach Williamson was great and will be my first choice for future repairs.

I visited Tuffy tire and auto service today for one of my car issue and it was my first time visit. The owner was very professional and very much caring. I am really impressed with the service. This is the best among all the others I have visited in town and highly recommend to try out. True value for money.

Gary and his crew are the best! My daughter and I have been taking our cars here for a couple years and trust them totally.Been to other shops when Tuffy's is busy...just not the same experience. Here they will give us the estimate, on the low side and how high it may go if there are other issues.Very pleased to say they don't take advantage of their customers. They also have Veteran discounts. Big points in my book all around for taking care of us vets.Hope you go to Tuffy's!

Tuffy probably have the 'best mechanics' in town but, they will charge you 4x more than any other shop and still can't figure out what's wrong with the car! They charge me 600$ for working on my car to find out why my lights are on, but they couldn't find the problem and couldn't fix it! But instead they charge me WAY TOO much money for playing with my car! Looks like they just like to robbed people; no offense please! Be aware of this place!

Very friendly and professional place. Although more serious things were found in need of repair on the older car I brought in than what I'd planned for, I was grateful he found them before our road trip across the US. Gary saved us from what might've been a disaster on the highway. Some of the greatest people around.... had a bad valve stem in my tire and it was a quick fix by the Tuffy Team... great price.... if you need repairs contact them or stop by and you will see

I was able to get an appointment within a few days! Had to get my wheels alligned and my dealer is on the other side of town. These social distancing days, I did not want to wait there for my car to be serviced. I was able to come home and then go back to pick it up. They had hand sanitizer available and only let one person in the waiting room at a time. I am very happy with my repair and with this shop.

2013 review.Do not take your car here unless you have some deep pockets.First time I went here - no issues, fixed my injectors, used the one I bought from Autozone (technically they aren't allowed to), gave me a discount since I was friends with a regular.Second time I went here they did $1,000 of work to not fix my original problem, which was an oil leak.Third time I went here (just three months later) they did $1,400 of work (I refuse to believe $1,400 of maintenance went unnoticed three months back) to STILL not fix the oil leak.Fourth time was for a buyer's inspection on a used vehicle, and to have my regular checkup done. They did not charge me for the buyer's inspection, but told me my "leak" was caused by my water pump, which they replaced for $700 and still did not fix the original problem. They also told me that I have a coil spring on my new car that might unravel and blow a tire, and tried to sway me from leaving due to it being a safety hazard.Fifth time I had blown a fuse due to snow getting in my window buttons and melting - they told me it was a $350 combination switch. When I took my car back to the dealer to fix some of the defects I had driven it off the lot with, he fixed the problem in 10 minutes and told me it was a $2 fuse, and did not charge me.They lie to stupid people to scam you out of money.Apparently I'm a stupid person.

I love everything about Tuffys. You definitely know your car is safe in thier hands and yours afterwards!I love getting my oil change done here too.They offer a great deal where you get a free tire rotation with your old change so you don't have to worry about remembering when to get them rotated.Amazing crew! They are always so helpful and also do full inspections so you know exactly what needs to be done to your car and go from there.

I scheduled an appointment to get muffler installed. they pulled my truck in on time, checked out what may need done, verified with me to get approval. the tech was quick, I was out in an hour and atmosphere was very friendly and fun. DEFINITELY recommend going to

Took my car in to have front end noise diagnosed. I was told that car would need new shocks. I had a second opinion and another shop and was told shocks were fine the noise was a $20.00 part that could be replaced. I saved $400.00 by going else where.I will never do business at this Tuffy shop on Wabash and advise everyone to beware.

WARNING: be careful to read the negative reviews. They apparently have a history of stealing people's money by telling you it needs repairs that your vehicle doesn't need at all.I went there for an allignment AFTER just having the front end fully inspected. And I only made sure to have my mechanic check it out before I went in to tuffy because I read the reviews stating the same thing I did above.So, after having an inspection of the front end with nothing found wrong, I went there for an alignment. Because they're the cheapest (for obvious reasons). Hoping for the best but expecting them to try something shady like they ended up doing.Upon arriving they told me it was making a terrible noise, and needed wheel bearings. I of course let them know I just had it inspected and it was fine. So I of course left, and went back to my mechanic. Once again inspected and nothing found wrong.Went to a second mechanic, and again they found nothing wrong. Only this time the second mechanic I went to for a third opinion stated tuffy is famous for trying to rob their customer this way, and both customers there agreed as well and had their own story to tell.

Was on the way to my brothers wedding and needed a quick tire replacement as one of my back tires was starting to lose its tread. Called and talked to Richard who seemed very nice and he told me they had the tire I needed but it was just "at their warehouse across town and they would just need to send one of their guys to go get it" I thought that was a little strange but yeah whatever just get it done so I can get on the the road! Gave Richard the car keys and went to eat some pizza while we waited. Came back an hour later, car was on the lift but no new tires put on yet, Dave caught me and explained that the bearing hub was going going out and needed replaced, told me it would cost an extra $400. I politely declined and told him I was in a hurry could they please just get the tire put,on so I could go?? Nope, they didn't have the tire yet! Unbelievable, an hour later the tire showed up, delivered by a USPS delivery truck! I soon realized I had been lied to, there was no "warehouse" across town, these swindlers ordered the tire from Wal-Mart for $66 and had it shipped a couple blocks to their shop, charged me $119 for the tire and set me back 3 hours on my trip. Look im not afraid to pay a little extra for a good speedy service, but I don't appreciate being lied to. They put my vehicle on the lift and took the tire off and I was stuck. They used stalling tactics and ambush sales tactics to try to cover the fact that they were waiting for the tire that they were having shipped from,Wal-Mart to be delivered, not by "one of their guys" but by USPS. I would never recommend these people to anyone. They seem nice upfront but they are dishonest and swindlers in the back. STAY AWAY!

My daughter's car experienced electrical problems on highway 55 traveling from St. Louis to Milwaukee for school. I called the 4+ star rated locations and chose Tuffy's based on their ratings and my very pleasant conversation with Dave. They took care of the car promptly, were extremely fair regarding price and got her back on the road. They even called her the next day to ask if she made it safely to Milwaukee. I would recommend them to anyone anytime!

They said they would have my vehicle done Saturday for $429. Then charged me $616. Also they broke a different part of my vehicle and told me they would not be able to fix it until Tuesday. I was 2 hours away from home. Had to find a truck and trailer to get my vehicle home because it was undrivable. They were also unwilling to refund ANY AMOUNT. The owner said I hurt his feelings that I asked for any money back. I didn t ask for the whole amount back, just the money to fix the part they broke. He said it is now my problem. Never a call to tell me there were issues. Just a demand to pay for a car they broke and did not fix. Unbelievable. I would tell anyone I know to never go there. Yikes.
