Long story sort took my car to get new tires mounted. Drove my car 2 days noticed metel on metal on passenger rear. Jacked car up took off rear passenger tire noticed brake pads were completely gone. Under further investigation noticed the e- brake had been pulled and was stuck thus causing the brake pads to get eaten in 2days. Called the shop to voice my concerns basically Called me a liar used profanities and got very defensive on our conversation over the phone and wouldn't even admit that it was plausibly that one of his staff could have set the E brake causing damage to the pads rotor and brake caliper. Very unprofessional to say the least. And wouldn't back up the service done. Basically cost me $420.00 to have tires mounted on my car.Service: Tires

I was stuck in Springfield Ill, with a rock through my radiator. Seeing as his schedule was full, he referred me unto anther mechanically inclined shop to help me. This is an auto repair shop with class and professionalism

Best place to get auto work done...Very helpful,knowledgeable and good attitude people...First time had them do my timing and did excellent work...now on my other vehicle getting engine swap and was very helpful on helping me find a engine in my price range and the price to do it was more then fair...I will not be taking my vehicles to anyone else...and will recommend them to all the people I know!!!

These guys know what they're doing! They took great care of me. The price was good for the work that I got done. These guys take their time to understand the issues and verify that the work gets done right.

If could give them zero stars I would, please do not take your car here if you ever expect to get it back in a timely fashion. Not only do they take weeks for a standard oil change and diagnosis but the customer service is beyond unacceptable, thats when you can even get in contact with them. Save yourself the head and pain to your pocket because whatever pay them to fix when you finally do receive your vehicle back you will have to pay someone else to fix the same thing. Hope this helps happy driving!

I've been going to Tony at T&C for years, with dead batteries, tire applications and oil changes to my latest major collision. I have always received excellent service and MORE than fair pricing. I wouldn't consider taking my Subaru to anyone else. I highly recommend T&C Automotive

T & C has moved to 1006 Ridgeley St, but they still offer the same great service! I try to drive my cars as long as I can. I can always count on T & C to offer reasonable rates on any repairs. I know I can trust them to fix what needs to be fixed and not fix what doesn't need to be fixed. That's why I continue to use them for my auto needs, even though I live over an hour away....

Takes advantage of the elderly. Sold a set of four new tires to my 81 year old mother that leak after a couple of months with less than 2,000 miles. My sweet mother keeps giving him chance after chance to fix the tire situation. No resolution yet. Previously, he took 6 months to replace a bad motor he had sold to my dad for his Toyota Corolla. I am making my parents choose someone else for auto repairs as soon as they get a resolution to the tire situation.

Replaced a head gasket on my car and when I went to pick it up, my vehicle was extremely difficult to get started. I was told that was how it was when I brought it in. I brought it back to get it fixed under warranty as the issue was caused by something they did. I told them I needed it back by end of business Friday, I brought it in on Monday. It wasn't fixed or even looked at all week, even though I was promised it would be. I had to get rid of my car because I could no longer start it.

Sold me a lemon!! Said everything was new and fixed it or would fix anything I needed for free. When I did need something or had concerns he Dodged calls, charged us to have a repair when my uncle got a hold of him finally, still hasn t given me the door he was supposed to put in, takes him weeks to fix anything, and now after having to go to a different mechanic multiple times for the car they tell me the car never should have been sold that it s a death trap and as a mechanic he should have known that.

T&C AUTOMOTIVE IS ONE OF THE MOST TRUSTED AND REASONABLY PRICED AUTO SHOPS IN SPRINGFIELD, IL. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND ALWAYS GET QUALITY WORK AND THEY DON'T TRY TO MAKE ME PAY FOR ANYTHING I DON'T NEED! I REFER ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO GO THERE, AND I WILL CONTINUE TO GO THERE FOR EVERY VEHICLE I OWN. 5 ++
