Attempts to take advantage of uninformed non car people . Wants to way overcharge for basic transmission replacement parts (that are likely rebuilt or scavenged parts as other reviews have pointed out), and if you know your stuff, and call them out on pricing issues (I knew exactly what the price of the components were before I went, and they wanted to charge 2-3x the cost of the parts, and then charge labor [way more than it would take, verified by quotes from multiple other shops] on top of that) they will talk down to you. Literally told me, good luck with that price after I called him out. I don t need luck. I literally told you the quotes from other shops. Shady business for sure.

Save your money and get your transmission done right. This place sucks at customer service and love to rig things on a vehicle instead of replacing it or fixing it right. I made the mistake of leaving my truck with them to have transmission rebuilt and now have a blown engine because someone there used starting fluid on a diesel and didn't bother to call me first to ask about my glow plugs. A $1500 waste of money sitting underneath my truck. The better business Bureau will also know about this business. If you want your vehicle to last and you want piece of mind...avoid Steve's transmission like the plague it is.

Steve done a wonderful transmission repair on my motorhome a couple years ago,. He set me up with electric for my motorhome for the night! And had a BLT for me for breakfast. I was on the road by noon the next day!!! Very polite and the service was outstanding !!!!!!!

Very helpful explain what was wrong with my transmission and what needed to be done to correct my transmission, service was great and would recommend steve to anyone that need there transmission repaired
