When I first called they asked me detailed questions about the symptoms I was experiencing with my vehicle. They gave me an accurate time frame of the repair stating that they were 3 1/2 weeks out on transmission rebuilds. They gave me a quote down to the cent which my wife appreciated. Addressed a few other known issues while they were working up on my truck and were very reasonable on price. I am super pleased with the service as well as the customer service. Thanks for getting my truck back on the road!

I owe these people a huge apology as when I visited them. They had me come in without an appointment and looked at my vehicle and didn t charge me and I had accidentally left my purse there and then freaked out and just assumed that when they were not answering their phones that they were ignoring me, and not wanting to return my purse, which was a major error on my part. They were just closed for the weekend for Thanksgiving Not just Thanksgiving day. And they have graciously held onto my purse for me and kept it safe despite I had left a very bad review earlier. Honestly, they are a lifesaver in this situation, because without my purse, I Would basically have nothing As I would have no access to my money, probably for a couple weeks until I can get new cards ordered. So thank you for watching my purse you all And I m very sorry for the assumptions and the hard time and bad review I gave you. You all are very outstanding and honest, and you were still very kind to me, despite My behavior. I am very much indebted To you all for finding my purse and watching over it for me, because without it, I would be in so much trouble.

Brought my vehicle in there for what I thought was transmission trouble vehicle was there for one month while the owner ordered two different welded in catalytic converters that didn't work had the vehicle at Ford took it back to them tried to make it right with them they told me it was fine no check engine lights did all the work runs perfect now bottom line sloshers charge me almost $1,400 for a catalytic converter that had to be taken out by Ford and an original equipment be put in so it would work correctly. And one more thing the welded in catalytic converter that they put in leaked so bad it sounded like they installed a turbocharger on my car.

They are all professional. The work is top notch & NOT expensive like at a dealership, but better. They repain your problems like it was there own car or truck. Michelle and Chuck are the best!Ed Urban15 yrs been w/ them.

Sloshers is hands down the BEST automotive shop I've been to in my hometown Springfield il. I highly recommend using them for any service u need done on your vehicle, they are super friendly and very good at what they do. Thank you guys you are the best.

I am so thankful for the information from the woman at the front desk. She is so knowledgeable. I needed a new transmission in a 2015 Murano but was having a lot of issues. She spent about 45 mins talking with us. She looked up if there were any recalls and recommended calling Nissan. I did and they ended up covering the repair under warranty. I called her 2 or 3 more times asking questions because I felt the dealership was not being honest. She answered every question and gave me enough info to negotiate with the dealership intelligently. She absolutely saved me money when the dealership was trying to charge me more. I really appreciated her support because they never received ANY money from me but out of kindness she helped me out!!! Thank you so much. That type of integrity and kindness is hard to find especially for women in the car world.Service: Transmission

I love these folks here at Schlosser's. They have helped me out several times, they don't do just transmissions.I find the labor charges to be fair and they are Most reasonable on parts. Thanks Chuck, you have been awesome for me and Michelle is very pleasant to talk to and i can tell she keeps things well organized. I tell anyone to go here if i hear they need some work done. Bravo!

I've had my vehicle there several times this year(2020) and every time it's been good. They always listen and do wonderful work.Always calling me to get updates on what is happening with car. I would recommend them to everyone. Very reasonable prices and also cheaper then some other automotive companies!! Great job Schlosers!!!

This is kind of lengthy but necessary.Rougly 11 months ago I needed to get some significant repairs performed on my Suzuki. I was referred to Schlosser's by a major dealership in town. I called them to tow the vehicle to their shop. They took the time to accurately diagnose the vehicle ordered and installed them in a timely fashion. When done car was fine.Just post the cold snap the car had some weird things going on. I had it towed again and Chuck took a look. This time just a battery issue in which he worked with the place i bought the battery and they swapped it out...no cost to me.Chuck is wonderful to work with. He will have all my repairs of that magnitude in the future. Customer Service skills top notch....Thanks Chuck

I had my F150 6 speed transmission go out. Chuck and his crew rebuilt the transmission and when it continued to throw codes Chuck kept me informed about the issue and work being done by him and his crew until they followed every wire and gone over every part until they found a very small piece of a spring stuck behind a valve keeping the valve from closing all the way. Their commitment to being the best and most professional in the transmission service returned my truck to me in perfect workin order.Thank you Chuck and all your crew from front office to garage technicians. Chuck and Michelle Blankenship are awesome people. I have a 96 Silverado that they put an engine in for me. The truck gave them one fit after another but they still got it done quickly and cheaper than originally quoted!

These guys are on par with pricing, and I IMPLORE YOU to find a shop that treats you like family WHILE treating you fairly. You usually get one or the other. It's usually the owner's wife we deal with and she is an absolute peach!! We send all of our friends and family (who will listen) here!!!

took my jeep in for second opinion after Landmark wanted to rebuild everything to fix a leak. Chuck monitored it for nearly a week and concluded it was fine. no charge for diagnosis. trustworthy and honest.

They broke the transmission cooling tank and tried to charge me $1000.00 to fix a problem that they had caused. They did a good job on the axle job.

Schlossers did me right! New transmission for Jeep Grand Cherokee with ZF8. Install was fast and much cheaper than the dealer.Recommend!!!
