My grandson had to have his windshield in his truck replaced. Safelite accommodated his schedule so he wouldn t miss school. The replacement was quick. So glad to have such a professional business in Springfield, IL. I strongly recommend.

Tried to upsell me from the start with the most expensive replacement windshield package. Little did the person know I'd already done my own research on their website and knew cheaper options were available. It was like pulling teeth getting straight answers. Was given a quote then I asked if there was a disposal fee which there was that he didn't previously mention. The next business I contacted was over $100 cheaper & no disposal fee. If y'all spent less on cramming your advertising down our throats you could charge the customers a fair price.

They did a awesome job on replacing my windshield. They cleaned the windshield it was very clean and the windows all around the car, vacuum and cleaned the dashboard. They have a wonderful guarantee, a very friendly staff. I definitely would recommend them.

Super easy process. Booked online, dropped off, but could have stayed...was done in under an hour. Very friendly staff and good communication. Would definitely use again!!!

Tech was several hours late he took it upon his self to wash all my windows and mirrors with what appeared like a wet diaper it took me 20 minutes to get them clean black stuff all over my dash does not look factory but the biggest thing is now it sounds like I m in a wind tunnel .leaks air big time $300 to hate my truck my cab used to be quieter than my wife s brand new jeeep Cherokee not no more..I hate driving my truck now I wish I still had my broke windshield at least it would still be a quit ride what a joke I ll tell everyone I run into about this nonsense I feel like I was scammed and robbed thanks a lot and by the way I can never ever get a live person on the phone since they stole my $300 wow pay the extra money and go to the dealership!!!!!!!!!!!very very sincerely JEREMY RICHARDS

Absolute JOKE! It took them 2 weeks to get me on the schedule knowing I was going on vacation 2 days afterwards. They called and said they'd be here around 3:30, then called at 4:15 to inform me they're rescheduling me for next week knowing I'll be gone with the broken windshield. My daughter had a similar poor experience with them this spring .. please go to a reliable dealership, Absolute JOKE!

For specialty vehicles that insurance is covering, take your vehicle to a locally owned glass shop. Safelite has non-flexible policies in place that will not allow them to help you get the glass you need.

I set two appointments and they did not show up for either of them. The first appointment they told me they ran out of time. Schedule me for two days later. That person called in and they did not even call me. Two days to sit at home and wait for no one to show up.

I have used Safelite in Springfield IL a few times and each time I have been very impressed. Friendly, professional, kind, and fast! Nothing but good things to say. Kylan was my most recent technician and he was wonderful, highly recommended!

So my windshield started cracking on a road trip, I contacted my insurance provider, and they referred me to Safelite. My 1st appointment, Janesse, determined my windshield couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. She checked inventory, and there were 4 in stock. She set my appointment for another day. On that day, I went, and my car was repaired quickly and proficiently.While I waited in the waiting area, I was indulged in a great conversation with Janesse, 2 hours seemed like a half hour. She is definitely an asset to that Safelite location, making my wait very pleasant. Thank you, Janesse. I hope I spelled it right and thank you, Technicians, for doing an excellent job on my car.

We had a small chip in our windshield and safelite fixed it I think it was in 2019 and then just this year we ended up with a failed repair and it started to crack but it spidered out and we got a appointment for safelite to get a new windshield and the guy was very nice to us and said that a failed repair happens but we got it fixed

Would have been 5 stars but they were a little messy with scheduling. I was scheduled about 2 weeks out originally and for a replacement at their building,I came in to get the "crash wrap" temporary cover on the window, when I did they questioned why I was scheduled so far out, so they moved my appointment sooner. When the date came, they didn't have the window, so they put me a week back.So it was now further back than originally planned. Ultimately this is a first world problem and wasn't a major hassle, but it was just messy.Everyone I dealt with was awesome and friendly and the window seems to be finally fixed with no issues.So, minus 1 star for poor scheduling and communication on their part.

Chad was awesome to work with. Very courteous and professional. Had to get my windshield replaced and my safety systems recalibrated online said it would be done around 5pm. Even with other customers orders being completed, he got me out the door before noon!

Says on my receipt that my technicians name was Nicholas he was very nice and helpful really makes me want to come back here if I ever need any other windshield repair/replacement! He did a great job and I appreciated his kindness. I hope the company recognizes his exemplary customer service and performance, he is a valuable asset to this place!

Very courteous. A staff member called me ahead of my windshield replacement appointment to let me know I could come in earlier than my scheduled time, since they were available. I have worked with this company through another location in the past with a similar great customer service experience!

I'm not someone who normally leaves reviews, but this was truly the best customer service I have ever experienced. The scheduling process online was efficient, I received appointment reminders ahead of time, and the men replacing my windshield were so warm and welcoming. This location also has a cozy waiting room with wifi (and lots of outlets), tv, coffee, etc. Hopefully I don't have to deal with another broken windshield, but if I do I will absolutely come back to the Springfield Safelite.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I e-mailed them to get a quote for my passenger window and someone called back to get the VIN # which i had to return the call and when I did the person I talked to gave the impression like I was bothering her, she laughed at my name and she laughed because I said thank you so much have a nice day which I find very unprofessional. Also, it has been 2 weeks and I still have not heard anything back from them about an estimate. I find this to be very bad customer service so I went with another company. I would not recommend them because the experience was very unprofessional and a waste of my time.

These guys have replaced a windshield at my home a few years ago, with great communication, and just recently fixed a chip in another windshield at their location. They're very competent and courteous. The website says they take walk-ins but it's best to make an appointment.

Very nice and helpful. I had to order a part to replace the one on my back glass that broke. The young man put heavy duty plastic and sealed it for me. Highly recommend

Best service out there. They gave me an estimate and they worked with me on the price. Gave me a time when I would be in and out and was correct. Quick service and great workers. They make sure your car is treated with care. Overall a great place to get repairs done.

I went in to get my windshield replaced. The guy was very polite, he told me it would take about an hour and a half and was finished in just a little over an hour. I was highly satisfied with the service and will recommend this store to anyone I know needing window work done

I had a drop off to get my windshield replaced at this location. The staff was polite and professional. They were able to work me in early when they didn t have to. They answered all my questions and did an awesome job. Great work and great people.

I called safelite first. Because I didn't want to go through the automated phone system they way it was programmed, it hung up on me after instructing me to go online. I am soooo sick of automated phone service and the lack of real customer service! I opted to call Clearview Glass. THEY answered the phone and spoke to me. I am getting my repair done there.

Had a crack that spread fast and really couldn't be "patched"..Set an appt, helped with my insurance, had me in and out in 90 minutes with a new windshield. Great guys, location and services!! Highly recommended!!!
