I had an electrical problem with the truck's trailer lighting. Shawn quickly identified the circuit and repaired it. Very pleased with his service.

Our Environmental service maintains a fleet of vehicles and regularly does business with several shops around the area. we've never had a good experience at this one shop in particular. I literally don't think you can do worse.On 6/10/22 They told me we needed a pinion seal in our dump truck to stop the rear diff leak & charged us well over $1,000.00 to do the small "repair" They then sent me down the road pouring diff fluid everywhere, so I went back in. If you take a look at the roads around this shop you'll see they do this quite often. We may get the EPA involved.By 8/18/22 They told me they misdiagnosed it the first time and the rear diff needed a "speedi sleeve" to stop the leak. They got another small fortune out of us to do this repair and then sent me off with yet more rear diff fluid gushing out all over the IL roadways. The moment I pulled out of their lot I could see and smell it gushing everywhere so I pulled back in. They were waiting for me in the parking lot & only then told me they figured it needed a new rear diff and if I go buy one they'd put it in for $12,000.00! I asked why they did the repair if I needed a new diff and they just stood there toothlessly dumbfounded. I took it to Ron & Bob's in Decatur and got it done for $8,500.00 total, with parts and fluid included.This latest mistake we made was calling them when our PTO wouldn't get power. We were working for the railroad 2 hours away and MIKE advised me they would diagnose it right away, so we rushed it over. The next day Mike advised me the tech said it was a "wiring nightmare" and needed my help finding the fuse box. (On a GMC Topkick) I came in and showed him that it was right up top as soon as you open the hood on the passenger side under the black cover that says "F U S E B O X" As he stood there dumbfounded... Then Mike told me the Tech called off work the rest of the entire week and no one else there knows how to do anything at all with fuses or wiring. The next week after being fired by the railroad and asked to pay for the material still in the truck Mike advised me THEY had an emergency job in Texas and they sent that tech down there to work it?!?! Then they told me the truck had an air leak and they wanted well over a thousand dollars from me for that repair but they still haven't looked into the PTO issue! Dumbfounded, I explained to him that our situation was an emergency as well but I don't think he grasped that as he just kept calling me "my man" and "my dude" Now I've got the truck back & they've been paid but they're sending me threatening letters about storage fees and calling my salesmen to come pick up the truck that they don't have & never fixed! I'll never let them weasel money out of me again.I am combing these comments and contacting other dissatisfied customers to see if they'd like to litigate as I've already hired an attorney. This is unacceptable.

The road technician they sent out to fix my air leaks and get me back on the road was AWESOME. He went above and beyond to get me moving again, stayed late to get it done. Thank you, we appreciate you!

Customer service started with the phone call. Helpful information was shared with me including directions.I was able to come in the next morning after the call. Everyone was kind and helpful. In a short period of time I was given an update on my vehicles status. Refreshments are included and a comfortable lounge is provided. I was never left to feel in the dark. I was given updates quickly. Which I greatly appreciate. I will and do Recommend this Rush Center.

If you buy here stay away from Chris Wilson. I personally won't buy from rush at all after my experience with them. In July 2022 I bought a 2018 international lt625 from them. I went in with a hefty down payment and 750 credit score. Best deal on payments ended up having a interest rate of 25%. I told Chris I wanted that truck and the warranty. He instantly started bashing the warranty. Saying it's no good. It doesn't cover much. Only covers items one time. I ended up letting him talk me out of the warranty. The next day things started breaking. First day driving it and it blew a brake chamber. 500 dollar fix. A week later I got signed on with a company in Georgia. Went to pick up my trailer and the 5th wheel broke 3000 dollar fix. A couple months later the turbo blew and took out the whole def filter setup. 13000 for the turbo. 30000 for the filters and def system fix. Then a couple months later the transmission went. 9000 dollar fix. All of this would've been covered by the warranty but Chris was very persistent in the talking me out of this warrantee like he either knew the truck was on its last leg or something. Now I'm sitting here doing bankruptcy paperwork and losing my business, truck and house. So buyer beware. All these repairs happened within 1 year and less than 60,000 miles on the truck. I've never seen a truck that was such a piece of junk. I will not buy from rush again. I also will never own another international. I will also throw in there that the area manager did help and pay for the brake chamber and 5th wheel after I called him about Chris's unprofessional behavior.Update the post commenting below that says call us to talk about this.... called and got voice mail. Left a message. Nobody called back.

On Sunday, 05/21/2023 my 2018 International LT625 was towed to the Cummins dealership across the street from Rush Truck Center in Springfield, IL. When the Cummins dealership opened this morning on 05/22/2023, I advised the service person of the repair timeframe that I was given on Saturday evening, and he gave me a different timeframe of next week for the diagnosis test and repairing the issue. My driver contacted Rush Truck Center and they immediately helped us out and got us back on the road within 4 hours (Thermostat issue). I am not a fan of other Rush Truck Centers BUT the Rush Truck Center in Springfield, IL gets two THUMBS UP!Great service, Great staff members and a quick response which got us back on the road this morning heading to Oklahoma to drop off our load.I appreciate you!Kisha H.

On the first day of our trip in our motorhome we realized we were losing the air pressure for our brakes. Chad, the service manager, scheduled Jordan, the mobile tech, to come directly to our campsite to diagnose and fix the problem. It was necessary for Jordan to fabricate the part for the repair requiring a trip back to the shop and much more. Jordan spent well over 2 hours to complete the job - leaving our campsite after 7:00pm Because of this outstanding service, we were able to continue our trip the next morning. The service and assistance we received from everyone at the Rush Truck Center Springfield, Illinois, location, was top-notch! Thank you so much!

Broke down due to a def sensor. Team here is friendy and professional. Even offered me a ride to and from the hotel while it was being worked on. Good updates and communication.

1st time at this location, got in around noonish, with low oil pressure issues going down the road.They got me, & fixed the same day !!No doubt I'll recommend others if you can make it through here for our over the road issues with our equipment.Nice people too !!

2 big problems of this place:1st. It takes too long time to find out problem and fix it ( hours for diagnostic and days for fixing a small problem)2nd. I've seen lot dealerships but at least people on the desk there gives clear answer if you asking them. Here it takes so long to the man with gray beard on the desk to give you some answerHe behaving like doing a favor to customers keeping pause and than throwing two words with no senseNo, seriously management should do something with thatExplain to that guy that it's not a favor it's HIS JOBProbably next time if I'll see him I will definitely call to the company management or some other department to comply on this unprofessional behavior

We had to take a truck in for a recall, had an appointment for 9 oclock. It seemed like they were waiting for us and got the truck fixxed in no time. The other truck we took up is another story, it has been there over a week. Did not believe there was so much wrong with it. Hope to get it back soon.

A+ place. Rented a Budget truck for a cross country move, and found out mid-drive it had a faulty DEF sensor. We rolled into Rush after 4pm, but Chad helped us out and had us back on the road quickly. Would give 10 stars if I could!!!

When you call and ask questions instead of getting sent to the correct department you get rude lady say this is not the correct department instead of saying I can transfer you over to the correct department for that. When they transfer you to a department instead of making sure you get a person they just blindly transfers you 9 times out of 10 you get a voicemail. Out of all the RUSH trucking in the Midwest and south that I have personally went to this has some of the rudest people.

Parts department the size of a 1 car garage. Didn't even have a set of safety triangles in stock. Out of the 9 parts I needed I left with 2 and had to order everything else.

Very good. Got there at 10am truck was looked at in by 12 and diagnosed and was taken to the hotel by an employee. Very nice people.
