Been a customer for 3 years with good results until now. Dropped off truck in November 2021for them to redo a previous repair that didn't work and replace door/window seals. After a couple months they started giving a runaround for completion date. Later they said the truckwas damaged while in their possession. After 2 months of more runarounds, the paint and body repairs were not done or submitted to their insurance. I gave them notice of coming to get the truck [May 2022] The engine quit 3 miles from their shop and had to be towed. Current repair estimate from my insurance is $3333.91.

Absolutely the worst Auto repair shop I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't take my vehicle there to save my life. Girlfriend had her car break down so she had it towed there. Well over 500 bucks later they claim to have the issue resolved so the car runs again for about 24 hours and the same issue occurs. Had it towed there again and now they claim to have the problem fixed. They have been telling me for almost 5 days "should be done tomorrow. Avoid this place like the plague. I would give zero stars if possible.

I was meeting my sister in Springfield when my car started to smoke so I checked under the hood and my coolant was bubbling so much it was overflowing. I took it to Walmart and they couldn t do anything for me and sent me here. Even tho Ruggless was booked out they looked at my car and filled my coolant up so I could get home. I highly recommend them! They made my day so much better. Thank you guys so much!

They are some thieves in my opinion. Had the car towed up to the building with us. Stole our insurance card along with other items left aux cords and other items that did not belong to us in our vehicle and then claimed the tow truck driver stole our belongings even though he was never in the car without us and claimed they had absolutely no cameras inside or out and had no jeed of cameras and denied responsibility. Not to mention you leave cars outside unlocked in your unfenced in parking lot with no cameras? Unprofessional, dishonest, and rude i highly highly recommend going literally anywhere else if you dont want your items and personal information stolen.

Am giving this place a ZERO, for my horrible experience. My car got stuck at Aldi`s, so googled the closest place which was Ruggless. They said the problem was a STARTER, so they put in a new starter, and also I needed them to replace my trunk with the original LATCH that came with the vehicle. When I picked up my car I noticed it was making a grinding funny noise when I started it. I drove off anyway, but when I got to Target I decided to test my Trunk. Right there and then I noticed the trunk was still not shutting, so I turned around and went back to Ruggless, the Mechanic looked at it , and said there was nothing wrong with it, and I also asked about the funny noise when I start my car and he said that is normal for a new starter, since it`s new. As I was driving home I noticed my ENGINE LIGHT was on, whereus it wasn`t on before. My trunk also opened when as I was driving, since it was on a Friday evening I had no choice but to wait till Monday to report. On Monday I went back to the shop, that`s when they said that the engine light had come on when they replaced the starter. They checked out the ENGINE LIGHT that had come on anonymously, the diagnostic showed it was the Idle Speed Control Motor. I had already spent $741.75 on the starter and latch, and since money does not grow on trees, I asked if it was dangerous to drive it with the engine light on, and the mechanic said no. I also noticed that when I accelerate it was jerking, and that started giving me very serious panic attacks, and since ruggless auto, wasn`t helping me, I decided to take it to another auto place, where they tested it and told me its not a STARTER issue but something else. So now am looking into spending more money after ruggless made it worse, and after spending $741.75 for NOTHING then allover suddenly my car has all this issues which it didn`t have before. I also found out that they overcharged me for a new starter, the other shop where I took my car said they would have charged me $350.00 for a new one, while here I was charged $636.00, for the starter. I also called my other shop to compare prices and they also quoted a much lesser price. All am saying is Karma. How would you feel if someone did the same thing to you.

We have taken our vehicles to Rugless Automotive for many years. They have provided excellent service and are top notch in automotive repairs. Fair in their pricing. Nice people. Who could ask for anything more?

Amazing work! The best auto repair shop in town. They fixed my truck when another shop (AAA) couldn't. All my cars will go back to Ruggless. They earned me as a customer. Top service. Honest shop.
