I would highly recommend this shop! I had a classic Fairlane that had issues. Randy and Don fixed her up and it runs better than ever. They are fast and won't break the wallet.

I took my truck in because I thought my transmission was toast. I was totally resigned to the fact I d be shelling out thousands. Randy not only got me in earlier than they had originally said, but figured out it was just a part that was going bad, and fixed it at a fraction of the cost. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Fast, friendly, and honest. I was recommended to take my truck here by an old fire mechanic. I won t take it anywhere else now.

Very friendly helpful guys, took my 2011 jeep wrangler here for a full transmission rebuild. Just got it back and its running just like it should. May be a little more pricey than some other shops tho

These guys are great! Green Toyota's service dept. said it would cost . $7,000 to repair the trans on my 4Runner. Randy at Illini took a look at it and had it fixed for about $750. These guys are solid. Fair and very experienced. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Great service, friendly. My transmission was acting up but it was a problem being triggered by the engine. They located the problem and let me know the cause. They very easily could have performed unneeded work and ran up my bill but they didn't. Its hard to find honest mechanics, but you can definitely trust Illini Transmission.

Randy was excellent when communicating the process of, the cost, and expectations of repairing my transmission. The repair was done in a timely manner, at a fair market price, and the most important part, it was done right.

My transmission over heated in Springfield while driving from St. Louis to Chicago. I had my car towed to Illini Transmission. Randy and his associate were great!!! They were some of the most FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, COURTEOUS, and PROFESSIONAL people I have ever met. Randy spent a great deal of time answering all of my questions and concerns. They only charged me $35 to diagnose my transmission problem. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND Illini Transmission!!!!
