Well to start off with, I was very disappointed I was not met with a balloon drop and mariachi band, and glamor girls with champagne when I first walked in. They need to work on that. But otherwise doing business with them was very pleasant. I needed a new pull truck to pull trailers for show cars I ve built. I knew exactly what I wanted in the powertrain configuration. Unfortunately, Faine s had the only one i could find in the country, so I had to come up from Texas. I looked around. Pretty impressive inventory and facilities. I didn t see a bondo-bucket on the lot. They were friendly and professional. One item on the truck I wanted changed before I would buy it and they jumped right on it. That gave me the chance to see their service facilities. I was most impressed. They would rival those of most new car dealerships. In doing the final paperwork I had to catch myself and not let it insult my intelligence when the F&I guy pointed out the standard AS IS, NO WARRANTY clause you d expect when buying a used car. (That s a risks you assume in exchange for the benefit in a reduced price and depreciation buying a pre-owned car. They re USED! They re cars! They WILL need repairs!). I stayed calm by telling myself there probably really are imbeciles out there that expect used cars to be NEW without wear and have manufacturer style warranties and services like loaner cars, etc. He was just being thorough. He really wasn t implying I was an idiot. I drove the truck 810 miles home no problem. Given the need and opportunity I would definitely do business with these people again.

WOULD NOT RECOMMENDI purchased a vehicle from Faines last month. I noticed a shuttering while turning at low speeds and took the car to the shop. It was a known bulletin from ford that needed to be addressed. The car has now been sent back to ford for repairs that I will be responsible for. Faines declined to help. Buyers beware. Upon further inspection the rear door handle fell off and was reattached by double sided tape by Faines. I would recommend and friends, family, or strangers to choose a different dealer to purchase a vehicle. I will not give Faine s Auto any more business.

This place deserves ZERO STARS. We just bought a 24k Tahoe from them. They told us the engine light came on for low voltage and they had fixed it. 12 hrs later the engine light comes back on, we take it somewhere else and were told it s NOT low voltage it s the catalytic converter. Not a cheap fix. We told Faines what happened and now they won t answer any of our calls or texts. They re completely ignoring us. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. They don t care about doing the right thing. They only want your money and to screw people over.

I ve had alot of bad luck buying vehicles sight unseen, but when I got to the lot, the truck I was shown was exactly what they told me it would be. Had zero problems on the way home and the service was perfect. I dealt with Jarrod and he responded quickly, took all the extra pictures I requested immediately, and also worked with their banks to get the exact down payment and interest rate I was looking for.100% recommend these guys. Also the price was very fair in my opinion even given the crazy market.

Probably worst dealership every dealt with. Drove 6 1/2 hrs to look at a 2013 Ram mega cab to see the rubber was split enough to see and touch the cords. GM Aaron asked if wanted to test before putting tires on it. The day before on the phone with them the truck was ready for pickup just needed payment. Test drove another truck still didn't have any bother to put tires on it. Definitely would not send my worst enemy to this place. Was 9/30/2023

This place is complete trash, not only did they make me look like an idiot on financing, making me get 2 yrs of stubs after looking at my buisness account and saying the money is there. They still gave me the run around for 3 days, there story always changed. Not to mention half of the vehicles on the lot have drie rotted tires, seatbelt mechanisms in the floorboard interior panels missing scratches dings and dents and the want from 20000 to 50000 for them junk vehicles.They wanted me in one of those junk so bad they got upset and treated me like a piece of trash. Ignoring my calls just to finally say they couldn't do after I spent an arm and a leg and swallowed my pride to go to my old employer to print them off, then they tell me they are worthless. After all that I went to my bank and low and behold an hr later I was approved they even said what's the problem we will let you get 2 of them if you want. So why be rude, why not sell the vehicle to me, it's because it's the only real good truck in the lot and the staff is putting it off to purchase them self reason I say that is because they kept saying it isn't going anywhere when I ask to hold it. So I say beware and spend your money where it's deserved like a place with great customer service and safe and legal vehicles for our kids to ride in. Have a great day everyone and please steer clear of this place. Come next week half the inventory will not be for sale unless they change tires and fix violations for selling Un sade vehicles. Good thing the state police monitor dealer sales, cause pops knows the whole deal and he has been law enforcement for many yrs. Get your wallet out faines because it about to get its about to get empty.

I saw the truck that I wanted and it was sitting on feign's lot. With that said they wouldn't bargain with me for price and they had it priced $2000 more than what book value was so I had to come up with money out of my own pocket to get alone for this truck. I was expecting to get better service from the sales people but all I got was unknown every time I asked a question. I asked them to clean out the engine compartment because it was very dirty and greasy. Their response was we don't clean engine compartments because of the wiring. I also asked them to fill the tank up for me since they were charging $2000 more than the truck was worth and they refused that also. I still bought the truck because it's what I wanted. And the salesman was great but it is above them that I had the problem with. Who's ever doing their details over there cleaning their vehicles has got to be the worst Detailer I have ever seen I am finding gum wrappers and garbage from the previous owner and the glove compartment and behind the seats. Not how I would want to run my business. I wish I would've just got one free tank of gas from now but they don't budge an inch.

This business has poor customer service and lack of communication, they string you along acting like it takes a bank 4 days to make a decision on if you're approved for a loan or not. They also like to hang up on you or tell you their manager stepped out briefly and that they'll call you back to never do so. Josh the salesman helping us told me today on the phone "well I have other customers to deal with" which pretty much insinuated that their was never a plan to call us back truly and let us know because we weren't initially approved through their bank. What he didn't know is my bank would have approved it I just needed the answer that we weren't through theirs. What a waste of our time.

Poor customer service, my family and I drove hours to look at a dually they had on the lot, we tried to go for the loan through them but it was a Saturday and we were asked to wait until Monday for the banks, we waited and waited to hear something back. Called a few times to be told the manager had "stepped out for lunch" "stepped out of the office briefly" "oh were still waiting on bank and we'll call you back with updates" we got no call backs from them and spent time chasing them for answers. Instead of calling and letting us know their bank didn't approve us they chose to keep us wondering. I called today and got hung up on after asking them to not run anything else through credit as we've gone with another truck 10 years newer and same price as this 2012. I called back after the hang up and asked to speak with a manager and was then told AGAIN that he stepped out for a brief moment and he'll call back; THEN instead of the manager (who I'm pretty sure is the one who hung up on me) had the sales guy call me back and I was told we weren't approved and that it took so long because he has other customers to deal with. Unprofessional business. 10/10 don't recommend.

They or the bank lied about getting me financed. Told me get us 2 check stubs and your done. The deal is approved. Then ghosted me. Didn't hear anything. The saleman would respond to my text or calls. I called and talked the the finance manger and he basically hung up on me. Horrible customer service.

Ron was fantastic! My husband and I went in and this was the best car buying experience we have ever had. Ron was personable, understanding, and courteous. No one likes to buy a car BUT this experience made it so easy.

These trucks are a waste of everyone s time. Ron the salesman not friendly at all and not a salesman! He is out for your money and that s it drove 5 hrs to find out the 35k truck was only worth 18-20k at Max from all the dings scratches and pitted corroded wheels! And blotched paint job on the bed and and all sorts of flaws!!! All the trucks here are used and abused!

Went looking for a specific make and price range of truck. After looking at 5-6 that fit the Criteria but I didn t fall in love with I was convinced to look at a newer truck. Found one that worked and started talking price. From the time I test drove to the time I started to sign papers the salesman increased the truck price three times on me. Multiple mechanical parts not in working order that I was told would be fixed but I had to pay for the truck first. After telling them I d take it and would have to get a check from my bank they threatened to sell it out from underneath me if I didn t return the following day to pick it up (still not in working order). After exhausting all options I settled on the truck and have lived with the consequences ever since. Various issues have arose in the 6 weeks And 1,000 miles since my purchase. Already have replaced 4x4 u joints, every sensor in the fuel system, gooseneck ball was rusted into the slot and broke on me, now we are looking at a new computer just to get it going again. All on a three year old truck. All I have to say is definitely check the vehicle over very well or buy somewhere else

Was sold a 18k dollar truck with a blown head gasket. They replaced the clutch fan and thermostat knowing it had an issue. But they sold it anyway. It overheated on the way home. And all I get is wait 30 days and turn it into your warranty. That s not right. There con artists and thieves. Don t even think of buying from these people. I tried to be nice all it got me was nothing.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Worst experience ever. These jokers are the sleezy used car salesmen that lie!!! They patch issues and send them down the road. They do not care about your safety, only their profit. If you insist, please have a mechanic check the vehicle!!!

My brother just purchased a truck from Faines Auto Sales few days back and not only did they have a ridiculous price on the vehicle to start but after he had it looked over by a local shop, come to find out they sold him a truck with a HUGE crack running all the way threw the bell housing and all they said to him was sorry sales final. In my opinion that is about the worst customer service and I wouldn t send anyone their way.

Purchased on 06 F-250 from them in August of 2018. Noticed some issues a few days after purchase and they fixed them without hesitation. Had another issue they claimed was water in the fuel, but after 3 months of owning truck and monitoring realized it was the oil cooler. Spent 10 hours and $500 tearing the motor apart.

Ron is a great guy and willing to go way out of his way to help you. We found him to be very honest with us. I would highly recommend Ron and Faines. Tried buying several vehicles off of them. They don t want to work with you on them. That and their prices for a stock truck other than wheels is way to high. They ride on the fact that it s a rust free truck from Texas. This is Illinois not Texas and just because it s rust free at the moment means nothing to me. Don t even ask what the lowest is they will go because it won t be answered. You will just be told what the payment will be. Then when you look at the paper work the price hasn t been moved and they offer you bottom dollar for your trade in. Done looking here.
