I took my boat in March of 2022 and they told me it would be done by July 4, 2022. I ended up getting my boat in October of 2023. Yes, 2023. Poor customer service. I paid almost 1,900 dollars for repairs. It was so late in the season when I got it back I put it directly in storage. I got it out of storage and took it to the lake and the motor caught fire when I tried to start it. No, it did not have a mouse nest in it. They did not hook up the fuel line correctly and it caught fire. I called them the next day not happy and was told to bring it up to them. I took up there and they fixed it. I would like to know what they did to my boat in the year and a half they had it. My wife and I feel we deserve a refund of 1800 because what I can tell they didn t do 1800 worth of work. Ridiculous! I will never have them do work again on anything and recommend you don t take anything there either.

Great place had them put a remanufactured motor in my boat. They let me get my own motor and parts also gave me parts number where I could get the right parts the first time. Treated me right on labor. Thank you for putting motor in Bob

Andy and the team at East Side Marine made our first boat buying experience great! Between communication, ordering, signing paperwork, and helping us to familiarize ourselves with our purchase, we were very impressed with the whole process. Highly recommend!

First I will start off by saying I absolutely love my boat. The purchase was made with so much ease thanks to Ryan Tykle over at Blue Water Finance. However, I can t say the same for the sales rep Debra Wallace unfortunately. Debra s attitude is not one for customer service at all, the lack of respect, condescending tone, snarky remarks such as I get paid regardless or the fact that my brand new boat had scratches on it along with on the motor her response to that was well when you put it in the water the scratches will be put on there anyway (which she has yet to send me her copies of the pictures and information to pay to have it all fixed) and just her overall nasty demeanor makes not only myself but also other people that I know who loves being on the water just as much as me not want to ever do business with this company again. Now, I did talk to other representatives throughout the process for a quick second that I had a better experience with, but the short interaction with them wasn t enough to make up for how unprofessional Debra Wallace was.

We recently purchased our Lowe sf212. Everyone was very helpful and kind through the entire process. They made the final handoff really easy and convenient for us since coming from out of town. Thank you East Side Marine!

I appreciate all the information and assistance I received throughout my boat purchase experience. East Side Marine has that small town hands on business experience that has a nice personal touch to it. I had forgot my trailer harness adapter and they even went as far as to provide one for me. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy a boat in Central Illinois give them a call.

Debbie, Bob, and the entire team at Eastside Marine were very helpful and enjoyable to work with during the purchase of our new pontoon boat. Devin walked us through setting up our new boat. He answered all of our questions and took as much time as we needed until we felt comfortable. We had one small issue after our first outing and they took care of it the same day.

This business is the best! They got us in within the hour. Diagnosed the problem (bad battery), replaced it and on we went. Devin was great! The others were very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Thanks again!

Covid threw a wrench in my delivery date but Andy did everything he could to get my boat in. No high pressure sales in the ordering process at all. The rest of the staff were great too. Mechanic did an outstanding job mounting the trolling motor and sonar unit. Will definitely be heading back there for anything the boat needs.

I live in Minnesota and found the boat I wanted at East Side Marine. I talked with Debbie several times to get the details worked out, and then drove 8 hours to pick up the boat. There was a small glitch with the wrong motor having been installed, but Devin quickly fixed that and we were on our way home! Great experience and great people, I would definitely recommend!

We purchased our first boat for Eastside Marine and I wouldn t go anywhere else! Andy and Debbie took great care of us and when we asked for some additional options, they bent over backwards to accommodate us. They were very patient with us as this was our first boat and we are both in our 60 s. They answered all of our questions! I would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a boat!

We were happy to see that all of our questions were answered by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They were in contact with us every step from choosing options of boat size and engine size to final details of interior color and add-ons that had to be ordered. Financing was available in house and the process was simplified by the financial officer East Side Marine has available. All in all a very positive experience and we look forward to visiting East Side Marine with any questions we have during the lifetime of our new pontoon purchase.

Seriously one of the best buying experiences i've ever had. Great people working here. They took excellent care of everything and delivered my new boat exactly when they said they would. If you're looking for a place to buy a boat or parts for an existing boat please check this place out.

I didnt buy my little older boat there but andy . That runs the place treats ya like family .I thought there prices on stuff was gonna be high .not so .u cant hardly drive to bass pro or order offline any cheaper .they have it all .and what they ain't got today he orders in .again I figured oh here we go .hes local so hes gonna be outrageous (not the case at all. I've drove to bass pro .its cool and all and people are nice .but if u want mom and pop and good service and honest prices stick with east side marine.

I have contacted this company a couple times about used boats they had in their inventory. They are slow to respond, but I did finally get a response on this last one. We negotiated a price and agreed upon it. I am coming from several hours away and asked to put the deposit down on the boat to hold it. He said he needed to work out a few of the paperwork details and would call me the next day for the deposit. I contact him the next morning to find out who to make the cashiers check out to and he tells me he sold the boat to someone else an hour after agreeing to my offer. I don't recommend doing business with this company if this is how they treat their customers.

From Andy , the girls in the office n the outside team of guys they were very nice , understanding and very professional . They took care of buisness but also had time to talk n joke around a little . All in all it was a great time to deal with them and they couldnt do enuff for you . Took my boat in to get serviced. Now motor will not idle and drain plug for oil leaks My trailer tail light did not work asked to have it fix. Statement say repaired was charged for a repair light still does not work. Wonder if I will get a reply I see you responded to ed lowe cause was not your customer but someone who was your customer does not warrant a response WOW

The staff at East Side Marine are great to work with. They are very knowledgeable amd go out of their way to make sure you understand all your options. Were fast in getting my boat ready for me to take home and get on the water. Highly reccomend.

Eastside Marine has been wonderful to me in getting my boat serviced. Very helpful scheduling appointments, trouble shooting problems, quick service and very friendly, I bring my boat to them from Decatur. Used their services for 11 years and counting.

They failed to inform me that the part was back ordered. Was told the part would be here in 1 to 2 days until 3 days later when I called them. They then lied and said they told me. This has happened to me personally more than one time. Andy was very rude.

Bob fixed my boat, he was very straightforward about pricing. Very honest, didn t try to replace things that didn t need to be fixed. As soon as parts came in, he fixed the boat. I would recommend East side marine to everyone.

I really like these guys, they are local and been here as long as I can remember which means they are good at what they do. Awesome service and help from the owners and staff. Just ask they are always helpful. If they don't have it they can figure out how to get it for you....stop in and you'll find help and a smile.

Horrible! (if you need engine work done). Took boat in middle of April 2019 for a bad clutch, 6 WEEKS LATER they finished it, after suggesting a 2 week or less turnaround time. Thank you for allowing me to completely miss the crappie spawn.
