I suddenly lost tire pressure from running over a nail and was able to swing in just in time for help. 15 minutes and $20 later and I was back on the road. An easy job for them but a massive inconvenience avoided for me. Thanks for the help guys! Keep them in mind for your next auto service.

Bob is a problem solver and does what he says he will for fair prices! I just wish he would open a big truck shop! If your repair is in their wheelhouse you literally couldn t be in better hands.

I have gotten my oil changes here for years on all of my cars. Bob is great, but his wife Kathy is extremely rude and disrespectful. Today she told me that I am not allowed to sit in the lobby and wait for my car to get done that there is no sitting and waiting . When Bob is there I have never had the problem. She also chased me outside to my car screaming at me after I explained how I did not appreciate how she was talking to me and left.

I have taken my car and my wife's car, there for oil changes. Been very pleased with their work, and quick speed at getting me in and out. I like how friendly and knowledgeable the one working the desk is and how he is into details about what was done to your car. I was also surprised by the honesty when ask about a competitors pricing. Honestly can't be bought.

I was having a strange issue with my car that I thought might be related to brakes. Someone referred me to derringers, and I called them on my lunch hour. I was able to find someone to follow me so I could drop off my car. They found out what was causing the strange noise and it had nothing to do with my brakes so that was a relief. They then let me know they wear and tear on my front and back brakes and I was able to get that fixed and picked up the next day. I was incredibly impressed from the first phone call to when I picked it up.

If you're looking for an honest business for your vehicle needs.... I recommend Derringer Auto Care. Their technicians are knowledgeable and they care. And their pricing is very competitive. I'm not sure what more you could ask for.

After another shop closed up for a four day weekend without calling me to cancel my appointment I found these guys on Google. They were able to get me in same day and put my duel exhaust on within a couple of hours. The price was very reasonable and the exhaust sounds great and comes with a 12 month/12000 mile warranty. Highly recommendService: Auto exhaust system replacement

I've been here a couple times and so far the customer service has been outstanding! Competitive prices...actually I expected to pay more than what I did.Fast service times. I have not had to wait more than though minutes for the times I've been there.I can't say enough good things about this place.I highly recommend this place.

Back when this place was Meineke. It was a whole lot better! I have been a customer for over 15 years. However, when the name changed to Derringer and that woman started answering their phones. Business hasn't been the same. She is so rude! One day, she would not let me make an appt. for an oil change following that next week...For the first time ever, I had to go somewhere else. I tried going back due to a brake issue and she told me they couldn't work on my car. (without even taking a look at it). She said they were backed up until next year. I wish the nice gentlemen (I think his name is Mike)? I wish he would answer the phones again. B/c of "Karen" they are losing a lot of business. The mechanics are very nice and trustworthy. I hate that they have to suffer due to this woman. She told me she was the owner. That's even more disappointing.

I took my Honda CRV here or a exhaust issue at the manifold. I was very happy with the turnaround time and the cost. This is my new go-to place for exhaust. The gentleman that I spoke to was very friendly and wanted to help me as soon as possible.

I had an appointment for 10 am but had to drop my Journey off at 8 to meet with the doctor. I needed an oil change, tires rotated, and a front end alignment. By 9:50 my Journey was done. Not only did they do it in a timely manner, but did it so I had it right away. They also quoted a price that was very reasonable. When I went to pick it up, it was less than quoted. Bob, Matt did a great job and explained exactly what was done. It's nice to have businesses treat women like they do understand. Have always taken my old cars here for oil changes and now my new one for anything else. Thank you, for the great experience once again!!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to wait for my car to get serviced and they were fast and the price was fair. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

The customer service from their receptionist was horrible. Every time we've been to their location she is always rude to us we've done nothing but come and get our 2 vehicles serviced there. We have never had an interaction like this with the male employees both me and my husband. The Receptionist did not give her name and stated it would be on our receipt. The only name listed is W. Merciel (if you know who this is, please comment). The receptionist is the only person that answers this business phone. She is very hateful and very racist. Unfortunately we will not be bringing our cars back to this location although they do an Amazing job with our vehicles, their customer service towards the black community is atrocious!As a former member in Customer Service a Rule of thumb is not to take your anger or personal issues out on the customer and they are RIGHT until their Supervisor says otherwise

I took my car to be service at this location to get a oil oil changed I dropped my car off before the shop opened there was no signage on the drop off Box that stated anything needed to be signed prior to vehicle being serviced I did leave a note inside of my car on the Dashboard that stated I needed an oil changed. My car was serviced and the receptionist who refused to give me her name (but found out by looking over previous reviews her name is Tracy)called me. She told me that my car would need to be picked up immediately as if she had called 3 times with the attitude. When I got to the location to the she had an attitude upon me walking in stating you cannot just drop your keys off and leave your car there is a paper inside of the Dropbox that needs to be signed off. As I stated earlier, there was no signage stating that anything needed to be filled out for your vehicle to be serviced. Tracy also stated that I could take my car elsewhere to be serviced. I told her that no advice was needed as I already had plans on this after her interactions were confirmed.This woman is a Prime example of a Karen, and I dislike using race but Tracy has proven time and time again she does not have a tolerance for people of color.

After my first experience I thought this was a great shop, but after this last time I will not be returning and don't recommend. I went in to have a new rim put on and they didn't seal it all the way. I didn't know this at the time so I drove my car that day and the following day, the next day I woke up to my tire completely flat and my rim on the garage floor. My neighbor let me know it was due to not being sealed and aired it up so i could get it back to Derringer's. They sealed it correctly and I was on my way. After visiting discount tire about a separate matter they told me that tire had a heat ring and needed to be replaced. All my tires are a year and a half old. I asked what would cause that and he said driving on a very low tire. Well the only time I did that was when I didn't know it wasn't sealed. Back to Derringer's I go and they took zero responsibility, Tracy actually got a little attitude with me about it starting that they were good people and wouldn't do that but after talking to Bob about the situation and him checking my current tire pressure, which was perfect, I said the only time my tire was ever low was when you guys didn't seal it and it hasn't been touched since you sealed it and now I need a new tire.. he said "Ya that is very strange." I could tell he knew it was their fault but he still had no intention of replacing my now ruined tire. They also gave me an alignment and told me flat out afterward that I didn't really need it and charged me. So $120 at derringer for a rim put on and an alignment I didn't need + $122 for a new tire at discount tire later, I do not recommend service at Derringer's, while they seem like nice people at first under pressure of something wrong that was not the case and they don't take responsibility for their work.

I had Derringer put on custom dual exhaust on my truck. They did it for exactly what they told me it was going to cost and exceeded my expectations for speed and quality. I will always go here anytime I need professional auto care. Afterward they genuinely cared about how I felt about the work they did. Absolutely fantastic group of honest and talented people!

Fast service depending on the problem. Got my flex pipe fixed within 1hr. Seems like I got a brand new car again! Will be back for other services!

I have been working with Bob and Tracey since they started Derringers. Bob is A honest mechanic that doesn't overcharge or try to replace things that don't really need to be replaced. That is truly hard to find these days, I not only take my personal vehicles to him but trust them to take care of my companies vehicles as well. Tracey is well educated in the workings and business in the shop and very friendly. They are good people and I will continue to send business to them as well as suggest them to friends and family.

My son and I had been fighting a battery issue for months. Everything was testing out fine but every once in a while, random, his car would be dead. I dropped his car off at their shop and later that day they called and said they found a loose wire. I asked them what do I owe you, they said nothing! Great Service.

extremely rude older front desk lady with dirty blonde hair (If you see her, walk out) handed my keys back to me and said "here let me make this easy for you." after I complained that although I had a appointment for 230 they werent able to keep that time. I also complained because When I scheduled the appointment I made it clear we needed our engine listened to and serviced possibly but they only knew about our oil change. Horrible customer service and did not receive any help. I was handed my keys back and had to walk out without understanding or reasoning for my situation.

Quality vehicle repair shop with extremely honest owners. I've been going to this shop for at least a decade now. I don't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Honestly, I tell people that I trust the Derringers like I trust my own mother. If that doesn't say something, I don't know what else would. Many years ago, during the first few years after moving to the Springfield area (before I found out about this shop), I had several bad experiences with various other vehicle repair shops in the area. I trust very few of them. It's NOT like that here at this shop. They absolutely won't sell you something you don't need. They don't need a 'brand name' (aka Meineke) up there on the sign because they put their family name on their work!

Until today....Never before have I been told that I cannot receive a non-binding quote for a service over the phone. Even after requesting to speak with or leave a message with the owners and being told by a female employee that they were too busy to talk and "I understand Sir, but...." I had to end my conversation and carry on to another place of business. Thankfully Lauterbach didn't act like a non-binding quote is unheard of. I have been a customer of Joe and Bob for years and have had the best experience with exhaust systems, brakes, etc on my Cadillacs, Lincolns, Fords, and more. Maybe if Joe or Bob answer the line next time I will return.
