Brad and the rest of the crew are amazing. They have literally saved us thousands of dollars after getting quotes from other mechanics. I moved to Machesney Park and still come up to South Beloit for my auto repair needs.

Brad is quick, competent, and a joy to deal with. He doesn't overcharge women, and will give solid auto care advice to keep you out of the shop, without being insulting. I have a long commute, and over the last three years I've gone in with all sort of weird car issues. The folks at Ace Auto explain what's going on, consistently quote a more reasonable price than their competition, and get me up and running in record time time.

We have taken all our cars to Brad for years. He is the best at service, punctuality, and fair pricing.Always bends over backwards. Took my car in august 2021 , after doing a diagnosis he told me the fixing would be about $1200 but assured me it d be working fine ! Went to pick it up after 2 months and paid him $966 to have the same issues a few days later took it back right away and just got a hold of him nearly 5 months later after him not answering and just giving me excuses to tell me he would not give me back any of my money and to come get my car and have a good day yes it s true if you re a woman he will take advantage of you , he will take your hard earned money , never thought someone like hin would take advantage like that ! Heads up don t go by your self . Says he s the best yet 6 months of working on my car and I brought it home in a tow .Service: Electrical repair

Brad at Ace Auto is one-of-a-kind. He is knowledgeable, efficient, excellent at diagnosing what's wrong with your car and making appropriate repairs quickly. He helped both of my parents (now deceased) with their vehicles over the years, and now he is my "go to" person for a local auto resource. He goes "above and beyond" and will not let you down. Five Stars - None Better!!!!!

One of the best mechanics you can find in the area. Brad at Ace Auto is honest and shows you exactly what is going on with your vehicle. I've tried other mechanics and everytime they "fix" the problem, it ends up coming back and I have to bring my vehicle back in to fix the same problem. I've been to Brad 3 times and I have never brought my vehicle back in to fix that same problem because Brad does it right the first time. 10/10 would recommend.

Guys that know how to fix automobiles no matter what the age of the vehicle. Very impressive! Ive taken my 2006 trailblazer to other local shops and they didn't know how to fix my intermittent wipers that only worked on high. Ace had no problem fixing it. Another satisfied customer

Ace auto did a great job replacing the timing belt on my Honda Pilot-very professional and skilled in their abilities. I would return for any repair or scheduled maintenance. A trustworthy professional shop!

I LOVE that I have a mechanic that I trust. My husband and I have been going here for years and brought in about 4 or 5 different vehicles in that time. Brad gives great service and is happy to explain whatever is going on with my car when I have questions.

Ace Auto are simply the best! Only place in town I would trust with large carbureted engines. Great knowledge. Extremely easy to talk to. Down to earth folks. I wish every mechanic worked like these guys!

Absolutely fabulous place to take high end and low end cars. I look at Brad as the mechanics mechanic. When they can't figure out what is wrong they will take it to him.

Will charge you for nothing if your a young girl and don t know anything about cars he will take advantage of that and way over charge you to not even fix the problem. Not cool. No trust worthy.
