I was a loyal customer of Lowell s for several years. I NEVER ONCE questioned his prices.Until he quoted me 160.00 for an AC recharge and over 1600.00 for a timing belt change. On a lark I went to Midas and asked them to give me a quote.80.00 for the recharge and 650.00 for the timing belt. It was then that I realized he was screwing me the whole time.Needless to say, I did not go back to him.I honestly trusted him.Buyer beware, he is NOT to be trusted.Services: Transmission, Auto windshield repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Probably Luis at Village Auto will always be my family's go-to mechanic. He's always fixed things right the first time and never overcharges. Our history with Luis includes my daughter's toyota, wife's subaru, my old mitsubishi, and now my sister-in-laws's toyota. I recommend him to everyone.

Village Auto Repair (two blocks north of Touhy on Hamlin (3800 west)is the best auto repair place I've ever been to in my entire life. Luis, the owner ,is a gentleman and a a great ,great mechanic. I've been with him for approximately 5 years and he gives me the best deal in town and the best workmanship around. He's got an excellent sidekick Eric and between the two of them they hey the job in no time flat. Five stars is too little for this gentleman and his business and if you've got a problem with your car and you want to deal with a great person and a Gentleman this is your guy don't waste any more time with those other guys ....Go to Luis .Thanks for all the work you've done on my cars ..
