They don t even deserve 1 star. I ve been getting my car washed at the original Lucky s for years. They were great. Ever since they ve been under new ownership it s gone down the drain. For $30 you can expect to bring her car home and have to clean it yourself. Streaks of dirt on the outside. Still wet. Not even cleaning areas completely. I don t understand. He sprayed a sign on the inside of the drivers window to signal what wash I want, obviously with the intent of wiping before finishing, and they handed me the keys with the mark still on the window. I should not have to point this out. Customer before me was pointing out areas not properly cleaned as well. Rather than wasting your $ here, drive 15 minutes to Castros in Des Plaines. They do a fantastic job every time.

If there was no star that's what I would have rated and I should have read the previous reviews, I just left this place and it all started bad.When I was paying for my car the guy was very rude and wouldn't explain their packages and even told me that he doesn't have time to explain minding that there was only 1 customer behind me .So I just picked one and really not knowing what I am getting I payed $26 plus tip .Than my suv was finished but they never opened the back door to clean the windows and vacuum so they guy cleaning it said that no one told him and I was supposed to let them know I I wanted my windows cleaned and dry off the water from the door?Ok so I get home and here is what my car looked like, this is supposed to be a hand car wash.

Asked for the best wash. Paid $30. Tipped $5 in the box and $5 to each worker. Also told them to take care of the wheels and exterior!!. Car came out dirty and missed so many spots including read bumper read trunk and glass in and out. Called them told me come back. Came back so the owner can tell me my car is over sprayed and thats why its not clean and there are so many stains. Lol the car is almost brand new mercedes E class AMG and 1st owner here. And insists that hes been doing his job for 40 years. I laughed and walked out. Went down the street paid $20 car came out shiny not even one stain!! Be aware and save your money go somewhere else!. Owner is greedy!!! Stay away.

I have never left a bad review anywhere, but this is unacceptable. I ve been a customer for the past 10 years and heard this place is under new ownership, but I thought I d still give them a shot and had my brother take my car for a wash. My car looks exactly the same as it did before the car wash. I called and explained that my car is still very dirty and asked if they d actually wash it this time, I was told no immediately. I hate to give a new business owner a bad review, but don t take your car here. I paid for my car to look like this

While entering the shop one of the staff members gave me a negative attitude.I knew right there and then it was not going to be a good experience. The price is too high, and my car was not cleaned completely inside; which I had payed for the package they offer. When paying I only left $2:00 tip. I knew from the beginning they were going to do a sloppy job. Happy I didn t have them more than $2:00. I do not recommend it. Not worth it. Other places do a better job and for less money. I will make sure not to recommend this place to anyone. I had to go home and finish cleaning the inside of my car. Business s like this should be out of business. They just take your money! Customer service is very important in any type of business. Services: Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming

I went there at 10:39 to get my car washed. They re weren t busy at all. 11:16 I asked them what s taking so long they said give us 5 minutes and it will be done. 11:34 I told give me the car I don t want it to wash it anymore, they said we re sorry about that just 4 more minutes. Under the floor mats wasn t vacuumed, windshield only half of it was done and the interior is worst then before, and the wheels are super dirty. I hope someone reach out to me to get this solved out.

My girlfriend took to get her car wash today the whole outside wasn't even scrubbed you could have ran your fingers and take out the dirt. The inside doesn't even look like it's been even touched then the owner Peter proceeded to tell my girlfriend and her father they don't want their business and not to come back. I've been going there for so long so does all my family and friends and now they have lost a lot of business from us.

The interior didn t get cleaned at all and this was a problem when I asked to reclean it. There s a good and a bad experiences usually have really good ones here but these guys were just lazy or couldn t see, i don t know what it was but very upsetting to have to pay $20 for a wash and then not even get car wish you were thinking of ending up in. When you pay too hand wash your car and come back to it, you have. A standard and label of expectations that these guys didn t make. Management was pretty lazy and all they go do is say I m sorry and I apologiZe.

Be AWARE YOU MAY PAY FOR CAR WASH AND GET INSULTED TOO ESPECIALLY IF YOU AREWOMAN .-THIS PLACE DESERVE NO STAR --NEVER RECOMMANDED -TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE THEY APPRECIATE IT.Not only over prices but they have" new rude person in charge who insulted me in Assyrian language without any right "-Be aware of such personality who give right to himself to insult customer /women just because I asked him to dry the mates before they place it in the auto floor to prevent molding ,he not only refused to complete my car cleaning and make me leave with dirty inside ,wet mats and also left the red pen mark on my window which they refused to clean .He was so low that I can't go that low so I called the police for my own safty and explained what happen -he had no garouge to even repeat it in English so the ppl can understand his insulting - he came with $30, I refused it then he accused me that I harrased his employee to cover his insulting, just because I asked them to dry the mates , I was so shocked to experiance such awful quality of service in Skokie for the 1st time as loyal customer for that car wash .

This is the worst place you can go for any car wash services. My sister gave the car for complete detailing. The guy told us that it will be ready by 4 pm. My sister and her son stayed at my brother s house. Waiting for the call so we can go and pick up the car and she can go her home. 5pm I called for the status. The employee told me that it is not ready yet and he is going to call me soon. Called never came. At 7pm I started calling and no answer. Drove to the place and it was closed with many cars inside locked. Never been informed that they are closing. My sister is waiting and no information. Luckily one person was inside the place he opened and I was able to take out the car. The work never started. They didn t even start the process. Next morning my sister went back and took the refund.This is really frustrating. You can get stuck in the bad situation because they will not even inform you, close down the place and leave. And your car is stuck with them. You can t trust them. Now I see many negative comments here. They should be fined by the city for this kind of business practices.Service: Auto detailing

I went here because of the Groupon for a car starter. It was not installed properly and had to pay for a complete re-do elsewhere. When I called this business for help with this, the person who answered said, "we don't do that anymore. I can't help you" They even said this business is no longer called Lucky's carwash and that it is a different name. Super shady and I wish I would've never trusted them for the autostart. We will never go back to this place if that is how they take care of their customers.

Summary: insulting/ low quality work/ kept a small item from an area of the car that wasn't even cleaned well.So, I brought my wife's car in to have it thoroughly washed and polished for her birthday a while ago.I did not intend for the employee there to judge the car to a point that was very insulting.It was an older thin man with short gray hair.He was saying things like "Look at all that fur I would have to clean off!" or "There's a lot of stains there that we're going to have to clean here!" or "I don't know, the car is very filthy!"He was complaining about the services he was getting paid to do!Yea, you are going to have to do your job. Yes, we have pets. Yes, it's filthy and seems like a handful that I would not be able to take care of myself...That is why I brought it here!Also, it's not my car!What I also noticed is that I was treated differently as if the car I brought in did not give me the right to be treated like someone that owns a luxury/sports car. He was talking to them as if he was going belly up for a high tip, yet spoke to me like I was an insignificant speck that was not worth his time.The small crevices were not fully cleaned or vacuumed.Even though the cup holder was not even cleaned thoroughly, they still took and kept a coaster that my wife had in car.Who takes a coaster?! Especially with the sub par work that was done for this car.Please save your money. Get a vacuum, some cleaning spray, and some towels. You'll do a way better job than these "professionals."Services: Polishing, Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

I paid $5 dollars extra than before and it's no clean as much as last time. impatient worker with all respect for them but I'm not happy and I'm really disappointed

If there was a 0 star that s what this place will get .I wen to get a car wash trusting this people ,and what I get they stole my value belongings oh but left a full size candy on the side of my door .I call and the guy was so rude he was telling me to be more responsible then Hang up the phone on me!!!He was screaming and then hanging up the phone every time I will call .I m warning you from my experience they will see something they like and steal it and then act like it was your fault for leaving it outside on their reach .

I tried to give this car wash the benefit of the doubt, but when you pay almost $40 for a car wash there s a certain level of cleanliness you expect your car to be in by the time you get it back. I ve gone a handful of times, and today when I requested that the team pay close attention to the interior, the gentleman assured me that they were under new management and it would be taken care of. When I got to my car, it was in the worst condition it had been of all the times before. Dust everywhere, spots on my rear view mirror and the staff didn t even put my floor mats in correctly. Again, I m not one to complain, but almost $40 for a car wash is not cheap. I tried calling the car wash several times to express my concern but no answer. I would not recommend this car wash. You ll get your monies worth elsewhere.Service: Auto interior vacuuming

Never been here before but wanted a clean truck for a special occasion. Had a great experience. They did a great job, every guy i saw touch my truck i could see them taking pride in their work. This is the kind of company i enjoy coming back to. Thank you for excellent service.

Great job nice people first time I went but the last two time my car was still dirty bought it to there attention and still was dirty won't go back

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. They just did an basic car wash. Car still had the horrible smell of vomit. I wanted an detailed interior and exterior wash the stains everything was the same. No difference y They charged me $500 for both of my cars and the same. The most helpful group of people I ve ever met in the automotive industry! My dog unfortunately had an accident in my car and they were so helpful and understanding when I was telling them this. They had my soiled car done in a short 7 hours even though they were understaffed! Truly a great place!!

This car wash has been around for years and I been going here for years. Recently the service has gone down, you still have dirty spots on your car after, interior doesn't have enough attention to it like they used too. Once upon a time it was the best car wash around. Won't be returning. Sorry man, used to see the owners there and that is probably when it was at it's best.

They installed my remote start. Tony did an excellent job. I was especially sensitive because my car was 3 weeks old and I've had bad experiences with shops giving my car back in the same condition I gave it to them. No worries - it was impeccable. I've had two friends go since my recommendation and they are equally happy. Another friend is getting the remote start added next week and I'm sure they'll be happy, too. Check them out. Oh, and the car wash is very good!

The guys that cleaned the exterior of my car did an excellent job. I can't say the same for the guys that dried my car and cleaned the interior. One of the guys was moving so fast that he half cleaned the interior of my car. The dashboard around the steering wheel was still dirty. The console was style dirty and I had to ask him to finish drying my car. I'm all for speed of service, but if I'm paying almost $30 to wash my car make sure it's clean.

It was not all that. Not worth the price. Almost $40 and the back of the car still had untouched spots even on the outside of the car. The middle console department was not wiped, cup holders were also not touched. The car was not dried well, so as I was driving water was dripping down the windshield. $3 extra for a trunk vacuum. Another $3 for the 3rd row vacuum. It should be better for that price if you ask me.

First time using Lucky's. They did a great job on my vehicle. There is a wait but well worth it. They offer different levels of service and are competitively priced. They offer a discount between 8 and 10 a.m.

Overall...They did a good job, however they removed my tire cover and did not put it back onI had to do it, I asked if they would put it back on and the supervisor said you can do it outside.The supervisor on Sundays is a bit abrasive and his main concern is how quickly he can get cars in and out. He was friendly when I came in but when he asked what wash I wanted and I replied just the regular wash there was a notable change in his demeanor.
