Good and fast service that is reasonable and not full of obnoxious upselling. I asked for a full inspection with a request to find any potential problems and none were found prior to a long road trip, which went well. The only bad thing was the facility was out of coffee! Waiting area would be well served with fresh coffee and water, making the wait more pleasant.

The staff here are amazing - high standards of work and great customer service.Ivan the store manager explained everything, was honest about what needed doing vs what was already in good condition, listened to my needs and was very professional, pragmatic and friendly.From what I see, he s also an excellent manager and mentor for his staff, taking pride in their training, development and high level of service.With this in mind, another shout out to Angelica, who was on the front desk that day but usually on the garage with the other mechanics. She has a great attitude, is friendly, professional and has passion for her work. She kept me fully updated on progress and called prompty when the car was ready for collection.I thoroughly recommend the team at Firestone and will definitely be going there again.

Elijah and Miguel both provided EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I showed up about 30min before closing with an emergency issue with windshield wipers that were not working during a snow storm. I was taken care of very quickly and greatly appreciated the FABULOUS SERVICE! This is a great Firestone location under GREAT MANAGEMENT with Ivan!! I highly recommend using Firestone for your next car repair or maintenance need!!

Came in with a flat tire, the gentlemen there were so nice, Izzy and Ivan took great care of me. They went over different options and made sure I was satisfied. Fully transparent, honest people. Highly recommended.

First time going there the service was great workers were very friendly and polite. Also they provided good information with what my vehicle needed big thank you to Ivan and his team left the establishment feeling good about the work that was done. Definitely recommend their location.

The managers/staff I have dealt with over time are friendly and knowledgeable. As advertised, they provide diagnostic tools to assess what's wrong with my vehicle (3500 Ford heavy-duty passenger van). I am a happy customer.

This is the worst Firestone shop I have ever seen. The shop had 6 open spots from 10. And the manager told me the oil change will take around 2 hours!! The oil change process could be in 15-30 minutes easily! I did it by myself. The weirdest part - I scheduled an appointment with them for the exact time and was expecting to wait until they were done in an hour(as I had been told on the phone). But I came there and the manager was rude to me and said it will take 2 hours at least. Of course, I didn t have time for that. That was the whole point of scheduling an appointment with them. Please change the manager of this place or Firestone will be always the last shop where people will want to go for any services. I wish I can five it -5 stars...

Had an absolutely great time they had me in and out in no time. I was a little nervous since I don t know too much about cars but they walked me through the whole process and the guy that helped me out, Gelacio, was very polite and answered all my questions. Everything overall went really smoothly and one of the ladies at the front desk (something that starts with an A i m sorry I can t remember) even explained what a tire lock is which was super helpful. Overall great experience! Definitely found my new mechanic

5 Stars from me! I was across the street and my car wouldn't start. I walked across the street for help and an amazing man named Ivan came out and took a look at it and fixed the problem fast! Super friendly and a great guy! Highly, highly recommend.

Great place to bring your car. I bring all three of my vehicles here. prices are quite reasonable and on multiple occasions these guys have come through and been very honest about whether some repair is worth it for me or not. When my Honda needed a starter replaced, they found one, replaced it, but when it didn't completely fix the problem, they went ahead and replaced it with a more expensive one and didn't up-charge me. An on a couple of other visits I have had similar experiences. They are sometimes a little low on the number of mechanics working at any given time, so it may take a little longer, but I would recommend these guys to others.

Dear Management, I wanted to make you aware that there is a very rude representative representing your store. I had an 11A appointment to drop off a car for my wife. I was immediately greeted with hostility as if I didn t belong. I explained I was dropping the car off for my wife and they started interrogating me about details I didn t have. I explained several times that I was dropping off the car and that my wife had scheduled the appointment. They insisted I call and bother her at work. I finally left because I could see the person was visibly mad and I didn t want to escalate the situation further. This person was completely unprofessional and should bot be working with the public. I will never return to this location and will advise others via online review and word of mouth of the horrible experience had at this store. Please do better.

Bc I am a woman there was an attempt to sell me things I did not need. I came in to change out my two back tires. The front two were replaced approximately a year ago. I made a 4pm appointment. My car was not taken back until 6:30. Then once in the lift my hood was opened (weird when my back tires needed the attention). I was then told recommends an oil change (false was done 2 months ago). A diagnostic that I did not approve was done (he claimed was doing me a favor by waiving said unapproved diagnostic). Two sensors for my tires needing replacement (false all sensors working just fine). If I listened this would have added $500 to my service they failed to notice that I am due for a service however I would never trust them for it. When I finally got to leave and I looked to turn on my heat as it s below zero out; my center console has no electricity to it due to them messing around under my hood will never go back to that location!!!!! Be warned do your research, know your needs, and stand up for yourself bc they are thieves

I used to do all the car repairs myself. That stopped one day when I opened a hood on a new car and couldn't even recognize the components, much less repair them. Unfortunately the complexity has now reached spare tires. It seems you need an engineering degree to find them, then and advanced degree to actually to actually get them out of their secret hiding place and onto the car. Putting a spare back is equally complicated. We took a Ford maverick with a flat tire into Firestone. Ivan helped us and said they could patch it for around $30. When we returned he'd repaired the tire and managed to put the spare back. I highly recommend these guys and we'll be bringing other cars back there.,Rick & Bic

The work always is completed in a timely fashion and done correctly so you don't have toreturn to ge sometingadjusted. The pricing is very reasonably.The service advisors are professional and personal. They explain reasons for recommended services very well. This past visit, service advisor,Israel,kept me informed of progress, applied my Firestone website service discount coupons, and reviewed the service completed before I left with my car.The station located at 8801 Skokie Blvd, Skokie is tops!

Came in to drop my car off for an oil change. Was told it would take 2-3 hours. It was 11:49am when I dropped it off and I didn t mind because I live right by there and would just wait at home until they called me. 3 hours roll by, and I call them and Ivan tells me that the car is still being worked on. So I wait some more, and then I call them at 5pm. Ivan tells me it should be another 30-40 mins. At this point I tell him I ve been waiting for a while now, and that they didn t say it would take that long when I dropped it off. Regardless, I say okay. About 30 mins later I get a call from Ivan letting me know that my oil cap crumbled in their hands and that they had to drive to somewhere else to get a new one and they didn t know how long it would take. I was fuming at this point I decide to go there and wait since I felt like they were playing around at this point. I left their facility at 7:39pm. An oil change took them 8 hours to complete. The worst part is, a couple of days later I noticed all of my air caps were missing. When they had checked my tire pressure, they didn t bother to put my air caps back on. Additionally, when they reset my oil change sensor they did it by unplugging my battery. My car wouldn t start and when I checked, the wiring was loose to the battery. Never had that issue before. I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT NOBODY TAKE THEIR CARS TO GET SERVICED AT FIRESTONE SKOKIE. They are absolutely TERRIBLE!!

Looking for new brakes, I searched for local options. I have used Firestone before but not this location. They were efficient, courteous, and offered times for an estimate of repairs. I waited for the inspection- which happened 30 minutes earlier than expected. We agreed on the fees and service and they did the work.In and out in a reasonable 3 hours without an appointment and a busy store. Wifi, coffee, and a cool car battery set up with a variety of phone chargers.

I called the Skokie facility to schedule an appointment just now (Saturday 12:50pm), the asked me to wait.. I waited for 10 min and hanged up.I called back.. same guy asked me to wait.. I told him I just called and waited for 10 min the guy in a very disrespectful way say.. well if you keep calling we will keep telling you to wait . How is someone like this answering the phone of any serious company!! I won t come back again ever!

Very long wait. Told me I needed things done with my car that I did not. Calipers and pads were under warranty but they wanted to charge me labor. Went to Norridge, IL Firestone and fixed quick and they did not charge labor.

This is the worst location i had an appointment at 12 and dropped my car off and they said it should be done by 3. I had to call them at 4 and the lady told me she would call me back and called me after an hour and said that they had not even taken my car inside to check it. I will never be coming back to this location. Worst service ever. All the people there are liars.

I was in the North Shore area for a film shoot and depend on my vehicle for my work. I had a 10am appointment and went early to try to be seen earlier. Ivan went above and beyond and was kind enough to diagnose and resolve the issue for me on the spot and put me at ease for the rest of my shoot. He certainly could have asked that I come back at my appointment time and drop off the vehicle, but he was gracious enough to take time aside to help. Thank you.

I came in a few days ago very stressed because I kept having to fill my tire w air and couldn't see any issue. The staff here were so courteous and took the time to show me where the leak was and although it was in an area that couldn't be fixed, they suggested options and wrote me up a few estimates . Due to time constraints I couldn't get it done that day. I will be back to get future service done here. They take great care of their customers.

I did not get my car serviced here, but I brought a car in for a pre-purchase inspection. I am selling the car and the kid that wanted to buy it for me. Had his dad make an appointment for 1130 that we would have the car inspected over there so I get over there and the manager behind the counter, who is very rude and should not be working behind the counter over there. He said it ll take two hours or more I thought 1130 appointment is an 1130 appointment so I asked him where you bring it in at 11:30 he says no for another hour or two so that means it s a three hour waiting. So I asked him again will you bring it in at 11:30 needless to say they didn t inspect the car for us so the gentleman made an appointment to take it somewhere else and it was inspected and the kid bought it, and the manager working behind the counter at fire stone is the worst manager I ve ever experienced. He says to me they have a lot of customers so that means that he should treat people with disrespect.

Will not honor appointments, made!!I had an appointment for 11am. I called ahead to try and confirm it and was placed on hold for 20min and when I called back they did not answer. When I arrived to the shop I was told due to the event they had going on that I would have to wait 3 hours. The reason I made an appointment instead of showing up when they first opened. Is because in the past they said that they didn t do walk-in s over appointments. I m done with this location

There is a reason these people have such a low rating. THEY ARE CROOKS. PERIOD. Do bot bring your car here. Not even for an oil change. They will tell you you need things replaced that you don't just to get more money out of you. Then send you off with your car still broken. Trust and believe me.

This store especially is just there to make money. Don't care about the customer at all. One of the attendants is very rude and disrespectful. Try other services. You will regret.
