I called for a time to bring in my car for my annual front end alignment. As it turns out they told someone else the same time for their front end alignment and new tires. They started on their vehicle first so I have been waiting now for two hours unnecessarily. They could plan appointments much better than they do.Three hours, still waiting .

These guys are great! We showed up after driving on the freeway for 1 minute & realizing we had no headlights. I can replace a headlamp, but I didn't have tools, nor sense of direction to find an auto parts store. In the end, our path to Michigan (originally from Arizona started about 26 hours prior to this) was lit perfectly, & when we looked at the bill, we realized they didn't charge much. Extremely grateful to these guys.

My family and I take all our vehicles to Trey and crew. Great prices, quick turn around, locally owned. Can't find a nicer bunch of people.

Good shop, friendly, knowledgeable employees there to service your automobile needs. From just an oil change or tires to figuring out mechanical issues and problems, they take care of all your car care automotive needs. Conveniently located and not far off Interstate 55. Best to call ahead for openings and availability.

Charged me 200 for a new battery, They said my old battery that I bought a day before taking in was bad. Took "the bad battery" too the place I bought it, And they tested it and is was good. They said that it just needed charged. Its funny how lazy people are instead of taking 5 min to jump and let the car charge the battery, They will just throw on a 200 dollar charge and not care.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm from Lockport, Illinois, and my family and I hooked up the trailer camper to our Ford truck and headed off to Springfield for a weeklong summer vacation. Everything was going great until we were approaching Elkhart, IL on I-55. That's when the engine started to misfire, and the check engine light started blinking. We pulled off the road at the Love's, who only serviced semi's. One of the mechanics was ENTHUSIASTIC about 1 Stop Auto Shop in Sherman, IL. He told me they were outstanding, and could work on anything.When I arrived, I was sure that the second statement was true. The lot and garages were FULL of vehicles of all makes and models. They were packed, and I was very worried that our vacation was about to be very delayed. It was 4:00 in the afternoon, and only 2 hours to closing time. Jim listened carefully to my situation, and told me he thought they could get us on our way, if I could "just bear with them". I was more than happy to oblige, figuring that this might mean it would take 20 or 30 min before a mechanic had a moment to look at the truck. Instead, Jim was asking me for my keys and permission to drive the truck and trailer up closer to the bays within just a few minutes!He invited me to being my wife and boys (Liam 11, Finn 7 and Owen 5) into their kids play-room to wait. The kids started to play with the toys and by the time I caught up with them, they had found the remote for the TV. They were delighted to find Disney plus, and one episode into Bluey (8 minute cartoon shorts) Jim was ready with a diagnostic, and quote. I agreed to the repair at the quoted price, and he let me know the part was already on it's way over, and they would have it installed ASAP.Jim and 1 STOP were good on that word, because 2 more episodes of Bluey passed before he stopped in again to let me know that they were all done, and we'd be ready to get on the road. I was AMAZED at the speed with which everything was done, and was at a loss for words. I tried to let him know how much I appreciated the team putting a priority on passing strangers.All said and done, the diagnostic was done quickly and very logically. The repair was completed with equal skill and time. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would!Thank you to Jim and the rest of the team for getting my family back underway in what I feel was less than an hour. 1 STOP truly took what I thought was going to be a PAINFUL vacation and put us back on the road to a GREAT vacation!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Two stars. One for clean service room. Two for polite staff. That's where the positive ends. (Edit) So the shop called my son to quote his coolant leak fix and they said "14.56". When we arrived two weeks later we found out that when we gave approval for 14.56 through my son who had just turned 18, we discovered that they meant 1456.00. The work was already done and the head gasket put on. Poor communication. Then after my son left the shop, my son said the car started to overheat again. After checking the coolant reservoir we discovered the shop had not filled the coolant after doing the head gasket replacement. They could have at least run the car to make sure the levels were topped off before returning the car with no coolant on a fresh head gasket swap. Not very impressed at the moment with the work, communication, or the way they took advantage of a brand new young man. It will take a lot of convincing to take this review down.... SMH

I've been taking my car here for many years for all my maintenance and repair needs. I always get great service and they go out of their way to make sure we get the best price on pairs. Great company! I appreciate all of their help and definitely recommend to all my family and friends!

Moving my daughter from Wisconsin to Texas, she was following me when we hit some very big unmarked bumps and her muffler broke in half. We were able to get her car to their very busy shop and they had it fixed by the time we came back from lunch! They are all so friendly and helpful and their prices were so reasonable! Great work, great service!!!! I highly recommend them!!!!Service: Exhaust

Just an overall really good experience with 1 Stop in Sherman. They took the time to fully diagnose the problem and kept open lines of communication about labor and parts costs throughout. Knowledgeable and kind auto techs that did a nice job on the repairs of my son s vehicle. I brought my Jeep in after it started making a horrible sound. Was told I needed new rotors and breaks. So $1800 and over a week later I got it back. Drove on it for the weekend and the sound was back. They said they'd look at it again(within the next 2 days) after 2 weeks of getting the run around I was told it was a caliber. So they "fixed" that for another $600. Drove home.. hoses weren't tightened and all break fluid leaked out and now that same horrible sound is back and my Jeep is now just sitting in my driveway. So there it is! That was my experience . I'm absolutely in shock right now. Ugh

Better than great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They treated me with respect and I felt as though they were truly glad I was there. The work was done quickly, accurately, and affordable. We just had a tire fixed on our 2008 car. Service was great! As always. We have 3 cars and have owned 3 cars for 15+ years ( not the same cars but always 3). We always take our cars for all kinds of service since they opened ( oil, tires, brakes, collision, etc.). Our 2008 car has only been worked on there since we bought it new. Tom and Trey and everyone else are nice and helpful. They are always honest and dont talk down to me as a woman. People from all over businesses, etc come here. Recommend to everyone. Great place and never disappointed.

I was on a rescue dog transport from Memphis, TN to the Chicago area, up into WI and on my way home started getting the battery light on and off. Stopped and checked my connections, cleaned my battery posts, turned off and accessories and started back on the road south. Not much further and the light was back on and my van started stalling out just as I got to the exit not of the repair shop. I got pulled into a parking spot as the van totally died and decided to nap as there was nothing open til 8 am. Woke up and was able to start the van and get the 6 miles down the road to 1 Stop Auto Shop and waited in the parking lot til they opened at 8 am. They offered to check it out but couldn't promise they could do much today as they already had a busy appointment day. Once I explained my problems and that I was still 6 hrs from home , they jumped in and got my van evaluated and sure enough, my alternator was not doing its job and needed replaced. They even offered a loaner car to run get a drink and breakfast when they didn't have what I usually drink in the vending machine and said it was too busy a road to try getting a crossed.So thanks to all the guys working this Saturday morning at the Sherman,IL shop, I will soon be back on the road with one less worry for future transport trips and I won't be stuck for another night in IL.Thanks guys!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

I went in a few years ago for a car alignment they charged me 80 bucks and didn't do smack. Supposedly because they had to gut the inside to restructure it. They refused to give me a refund or fix it. My dad is a mechanic and fixed it that same week.

Had a tire blowout and needed four new tires, went in there early afternoon without an appointment and they fit me in and got me back on the road that afternoon. Included in the tires is a free yearly alignment. Top notch business in my opinion.Service: TiresService: Tires

Very rude, poor, and unprofessional service. Was hung up on when called for an update on 2 of my vehicles and didn t even get a chance to ask about the second. Highly do NOT recommend.

I have taken 4 trucks here over the past several years for service from routine maintenance to exhaust work to new tires. And every time they have exceeded my expectations. The owner Tom is there every time to handle my vehicle and make sure it s getting the best service possible. All his staff are as stand up as they come. Would and will continue to recommend friends and family to his business.

Did not balance my tires. Gave me the run around about how they can't do my alignment because my ball joints are bad. I'm a mechanic my self but we don't do tires or alignment at my shop. I bought a brand new set of tires for my truck from them paid for tires alignment and balance. I changed the ball joints myself on my truck and when I changed them there was nothing wrong with them to begin with. They also said everything else was good to go just needed to change the ball joints to do an alignment. I bring it back with the new ball joints installed. Then they told me basically everything else on the front end of the truck was bad tie rods pitman arm and tie rod sleeves. I called them to confront them about I told them I was also a mechanic then they changed their story saying they couldn't get the adjustment sleeves loose said if I got them loose they would do the alignment.Never had this issue anywhere else.
