I lost a trailer wheel south of Morris. Several people told me this was the place to get help and finally I listened. It was a great experience and their normal is simply amazing. Ordered a replacement axle for my old 2000 yr. cheesy Harbor Freight 4x8' - got it in less than a week - the thing is fantastic - the quality & craftsmanship is way beyond my expectations - this trailers going to last more than another 20+ years - easy install - anyone can do it - perfect. Ordered 2 1-7/8 hitch balls. Needed the internal threaded style for my application (installing on my ATVs) placed the order via ebay, shipped the following day w/tracking. Couldn't ask for more. Overall I am very satisfied with w/service.

Went there on Saturday 10/7 needing parts and help since my leaf spring on trailer snapped the night before. Everyone there was awesome special shout out to Josh, Jason, Anthony and Ken. They went above and beyond to help me get back on the road even though they were swamped. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be going back for all my trailer needs.

I can't say enough good things about this place. They saved my family 2 week vacation to Montana. I hit a pothole on 294 and bent the axle on my travel trailer. Not a SINGLE RV dealer had an axle in stock. I called R&P and they had SIX in stock and installed it that day. The staff and super capable and knowledgeable. Very impressed and I will be back for any trailer needs!

We recently purchased a 2020 single axle travel trailer. Before we hit the road for the summer I wanted to make sure everything was up to the task. Found the full Timken bearing kit (BK2-100) on the R&P Carriages website. Perfect!Order made, filled and shipped within 24hours. Received a well packed box with everything separately packaged. No damage as I have experienced from other vendors.Thanks for a great experience, I know where to look when I again need top quality USA parts and service!

I ve bought and owned a lot of things throughout my life & nothing compares to the terrible craftsman ship of your trailers. The first one I purchased last year had minor issues. My black 2023 which is less then 7 months old is a 12x6 v nose. It s absolute garbage, from the cable breaking to the wheel well coming loose to random screws falling off the paneling and now as I m driving down the highway and notice my black plastic air intake must of just randomly fell off. If your looking for a well built sturdy trailer that s going to last I do not recommend R & P CARRIAGES!

I can't say enough good about these folks! No matter what I'm working on, they have or can get/build/order the parts I need in a timely matter for the project. Their parts inventory is nothing short of amazing and their prices can't be beat. It's next to impossible to find an establishment that meets all this criteria but they do it well.

Best place to buy your trailer hands down! I ve bought 3 over the years and my last one they custom built to meet my exact needs. I plan on buying another in the next month or so and there is no place else I ll ever go. Absolutely worth my drive. A wonderful, honest family and a pleasure to work with.

Extremely helpful staff went way over the top to make certain I had everything I needed for my project. Massive inventory with speedy shipping. Huge bang for your buck with this outfit.

Was having trouble locating a replacement axle. Spoke with Paul who explained a lot of options and what I needed to ensure a correct fit. After answering A few question I placed the order. To my surprise I got an email a couple hours later saying my item has shipped.

I converted a pair of old "mobile home" axles to axles that will actually work for me with the ability to utilize good radial tires and usable brakes. Thanks to the patience of "all" the R&P staff, my research was recognized as fruitful efforts and my project was a great success! Thank you very much to all involved... from the office staff patiently taking my boat load of questions... to the shop personnel that assembled, filled and shipped (very quick I might add) my order! I've reached out a couple of times with monotonous questions and I was treated like I was the only customer that mattered at the time. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Outstanding! I had a part that we weren't even sure could be shipped to Alaska for my business, but....Jackie - Not only got it shipped here, the order was placed on the 3/6/23 and showed up at my door step the next morning in Alaska.That's unheard of here in AK! Even overnight items don't usually come that fast!Hats off to Jackie! She surely should be a valued asset to the company. Very good communication skills, get the job done in a timely manner and extremely professional!If your ever thinking of moving to Alaska, Jackie you are hired! You start the next day. I just wanted to give a quick shout out and share the experience I had working with R & P. I called to check on some parts and availability and to add it was about 20 minutes prior to closing time. I worked with Josh and let me tell you it has been a long time since I have experienced the level of service Josh gave. Josh was able to find the part and was able to get the package out for next day delivery. I am a first time customer so all my info needed to be put into the system and get with the warehouse to package the item up and shipped out. Again this was about 20 minutes to closing and Josh made me feel like he was more than happy to help, that is so so refreshing. Josh thank you and the level of service you provided made me feel there is still hope and people do still care about their job and wanting to please their customers.Hats off to a wonderful experience,

Ordered some trailer brake shoes , was lucky to find r&p carriages online , because everywhere I searched did not have what i needed, and they had them and shipped them out pretty fast at a very reasonable price, would highly recommend

I ran into wire issues on my dump trailer. I went to R and P to get all new wires. I was worried about getting "f'ed" around because I never shopped there. I quickly saw that I was in exactly the right place! Not only did Josh put down the phone to help me, then proceed to show me and EVEN WROTE IT DOWN what to do!!! The rest of the staff was chill as heck and the vibe of the entire place was a homly feel! I wished every store I went to made me feel so confident about my purchase! They also had a very large stock of trailers on site.I will most definitely in the future come back for all my trailers and trailer needs!!!!

I ordered a build your own trailer bushing repair kit from them on eBay. The old plastic bushings in my car trailer leaf springs were totally shot and even the bolts were worn down about 25% from rubbing and banging. Thankfully these guys are one of the few places that sell actual BRONZE bushings with bolts with grease zerks.The new bronze bushings seemed a little sloppy to me, I needed 9/16 inside diameter and the bolt itself was 9/16 , and the plastic bushings that were pre-installed in the equalizer were 9/16 , but the bronze bushings were a smidge under 5/8 , so there was a little bit more slip than I would ve liked.So I called them to ask to make sure that was normal, and they sent me to a guy who actually knew what he was talking about rather than a scripted answer. He convinced me that there should be a little bit of slop with the bronze bushings. He said that when you press them into the equalizer and the leaf spring eyelets, they should squeeze down a bit and make it a good fit for the new bolts.I ended up leaving the plastic bushings in the equalizer since I didn t have time to press the bronze ones in, but I did put all the bronze bushings in the leaf spring eyelets. I can t say for certain if they would squeeze down since my eyelets were a little bit oblong and worn out from the old worn out bushings. So I ll have to order some new leaf springs soon and install those as well as the bronze bushings again.My only other minor gripe was that the threaded portion of the bolt was a fair bit smaller than the 9/16 shaft, and the bolt had knurling on the shaft below the head. That lead me to believe they but should be tightened down to draw the knurling into the shackle mount to prevent it from spinning etc. Unfortunately it only pulled the head in about 1/8 before it stripped the bolt threads off. There is no way to hit the head in with a hammer since the grease fitting is on the head. But in hindsight they probably don t sink down all the way, only enough to bite in a bit. I ended up tightening the other bolts down really tight, and then tack welded the nuts to the shack mount, just like the old nuts were from the factory.Overall customer service was good, pricing was great, shipping was fast and the quality was pretty good. I will definitely be buying my trailer parts from these guys in the future!

I needed a suspension rebuild kit for my travel trailer. Found them online and gave a call for advice. Paul was great explaining the different kits they carried and advised one that would best match our use. He knows his stuff and was wasn t trying to sell more than we needed. Prices are reasonable and shipping very fast. I highly recommend this family run company.
