I recently had the pleasure of visiting Burdi Motorworks for the first time, and despite a minor hiccup, my overall experience was quite positive.From the moment I walked in, the front desk reception was amazing. The staff was courteous, and their communication was excellent throughout the process. I felt well-informed about the progress of the service and any issues that needed attention.The only reason I did not give five stars was due to the time it took to get my car in the back and update the software on my system. While I understand that these processes can take time, it felt a bit longer than expected. However, I want to highlight the commendable efforts of the team in resolving the issue promptly.What impressed me most was their commitment to analyzing the problem thoroughly and providing clear feedback and expectations. The dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction did not go unnoticed.Despite the minor delay, I am looking forward to future visits to Burdi Motorworks. Their professionalism and customer-focused approach make me confident in their ability to address any automotive concerns I may have in the future.Overall, I appreciate the quality of service and the positive atmosphere at Burdi Motorworks, and I would recommend them to others seeking reliable and customer-centric automotive care.

I've been doing business with Burdi Motors, first with Carmine and now with Vince, for over 20 years and they are excellent to work with .......very attentive, diligent, honest and they do great work.

Stay away from this place !!! My husband s car was there several months ago for problems with rear breaks. After initial check up they requested $5200 for a new abs pump ( which was a total scam ). The real problem (I found later) was a minor brake pad imperfection which was fixed for $100. By my opinion, the all good reviews are written from friends and relatives. Do not trust them ! Those mechanics are greedy and trying to rip off every customer !

Vince always inputs his opinion and knowledge, always listens to his customers and his techs as well, but makes sure that the right diagnosis is made. Trustworthy, honest, and capable mechanics.Always work by the book, so your car is in tip top shape. I always thought I took decent care of my cars, but these guys take it above me, to perfection.

Dealing with Vince was a pleasure. I found Burdi online and their positive reviews support the experience I had with them. I brought my car in to fix a problem three other mechanic shops didnt want to deal with. Vince was highly communicative and answered all my questions and put me at ease regarding the process and that my vehicle would be alright in the end. You pay for what you get but Vince's pricing is fair and their workmanship supports an even higher price point. I will be back for all future needs of my vehicle.Service: Transmission

Used to regularly service my car at the dealer. Had an issue come up. Tried to schedule service with the dealer. They were incredibly backed up. I get that. What I don't get is when the dealer indicates they will call you at a specific day and don't multiple times. So, I was determined to ditch the dealer and find an alternative that had certified mechanics and found Burdi Motorworks, and very happy I did.Burdi is a great shop. They do what they say and say what they do. They are fair, communicative, and legitimately care about getting the job done right. They were busy as well. However, not only did they call me when they indicated, they were able to get my car in and remedy the issue. I felt better taken care of in my first service call with Burdi, than I was with the dealer I had gone to for several years. What I also appreciate is that Burdi is a local, family business. I will take all my vehicles to Burdi in the future.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Fantastic service, great value. I brought a 2009 Mercedes with high mileage and no maintenance records in for a pre-purchase inspection. Vince's team treated me like family. Vince took the time on our first call to look up the VIN, run through the pros and cons, and fit me in for a PPI the same day. Carmine lifted the car and walked me through the cause, cost, and timeline of every issue he saw. He took me on a test drive to check a humming sound Vince heard. They emailed me a clear and complete report. They gave me the confidence to buy the car I fell in love with. Along the way, I had a genuinely wonderful experience with everyone there. I have been having my Mercedes 2002 SL 500 serviced by Burdi for nearly 15 years. I live in Chicago now and make the drive to Burdi because they are such professionals and passionate about delivering the best service in the business. As a family-owned business they make you feel that you are part of their family of customers. Carmine, Vince and Carmine Sr. are fantastic to deal with and always go above and beyond. I needed a brake job on my Audi SQ5. I have been badly burned in the past when I got work done outside of the dealership so I was traumatized and weary. The dealer prices were just out of my budget, so I did my research on various places and finally found Burdi. With all their great reviews I decided to take the risk. I m so happy, relieved and grateful to Burdi/Vince for doing a wonderful job and providing a great price for the work. Vince took the time to discuss my options, explain the process, and he was honest and forthcoming on what work was necessary right now and what I could hold off on to get the full life of my brakes. As a woman, I worried I could be steered in the wrong direction and end up overpaying, but Vince was so honest and transparent that I know I have found my go-to shop for all work on my car. I highly recommend you give them a chance, you ll be glad you did!Services: Brakes, Oil change

I was on a band tour and our Sprinter's emissions system went out. We were in a huge hurry but Vince and Carmine went way out of their way to get us back on the road. Dropped the van off at end of day and had it running beautifully by noon the next day. These guys are truly experts in these vans and got our job done in an unbelievably short amount of time. I only wish they were my local shop! 10/10, absolutely bring your Sprinter here.

Best independent service shop I know. Five stars is not enough, I would give 10 if I could. I m a returning customer, known Carmine for years. He does the best work quick, clean, affordable and professional. Fraction of dealer cost. I needed service on a Sprinter van with a Mercedes turbo diesel engine and chose Burdi Mororworks based on the great reviews and was not disappointed. Carmine and the staff did a great job diagnosing the issues, offered solutions (without sales pressure), and gave a fair price. The repairs were completed in a professional and timely manner and I will definitely use them again when the need arrises. *****HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND****I brought my s55 AMG for a simple diagnosis on why the ecu wouldn't communicate with the rest of the car and they doubled their estimates after I dropped it off made me pay double what the first estimates were and then proceed to work on the motor side of the char which I told them not to worry about mechanical only get my ecu to communicate with the rest of the car, proceded with their work after I willing paid the double estimates, then also hydrolocked my motor and didn't tell me about it. I had to find out from Mercedes Benz of st charles. On top of that didn't listen to me very well as I was explaining what was wrong with said vehicle, wrote everything around what I was saying and not what I actually said.They also deleted the first estimates they gave me only After I dropped the car off.And then proceed to tell me that I needed to come get my vehicle asap if they were not doin the work as they are not a storage yard which they didn't even give me time to answer them before basiclly kicking my car out of their shop, with a blown motor and then telling me my car thats been in safe storage the last 4 years is now totaled due to flood damage?? Hmm... very interesting. So all in all they totaled my S55 AMG by locking up my motor duebto them cranking the car with the injectors firing, filling the cylinders with fuel and not burning any of it due to it not starting then proceed to not tell me... they did that but that the cars totaled so you should just part it out or get rid of it? What kind of shop tells you to get rid of your car you brought there for them to work on??? RIP MY S55 AMG!

I came for an estimate of my ML350 Mercedes for a problem with the brakes of my rear wheel. After waiting 4 hours , the owner tried to trick me, saying that my problem is solved ( but it was actually not ). They charged me $300 without giving me any copy of the receipt or any documentation at all. Finally I was asked $5000 to change the ABS pump ( which would not guarantee the problem will be fixed !!! ). After calling later several times to get a copy of the receipt or any documentation the secretary promised an email to be sent and a call back but neither of those happened! STAY AWAY of these sharks or you will be terribly sorry for your visit there !

In October '21, I got in my first accident, and I ended up taking my beloved Audi to Burdi Motorworks in Schiller Park, and they did a FANTASTIC job! They walked me through the whole process and haggled with my insurance to get almost all new factory parts. You definitely cannot tell the car has been in an accident now. Vince and Carmine are the current owners of the family business, and they treat clients like family. I can't sing their praises enough bc the process was so stressful for me, but they reassured me and really took care of me and my car. They specialize in Mercedes, but work on all German cars. They do everything - service, repairs, body work, etc and their prices are very reasonable. You will feel like you left your vehicle in honest, capable hands because you did!Services: Auto body & trim repair, Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Engine repair

I've been taking my car to be serviced at Burdi Motorworks for several years. They are extremely knowledgeable (particularly with Mercedes), very professional and take you though the expected service prior to the repairs. If anything unexpected comes up, they communicate with you before making any additional repairs and they will let you know what your options are. The services they perform? IS EVERYTHING!My Lady's, if you are tired of going to untrusted places, and to think desperate to hum you can trust to take your car!? This is the place for!!! You really want to take you're car here! For any issues and HONEST people!? Burdi Motors practice INTEGRITY, which is hard to find nowadays, their hard work, honest and price you can afford, and you can bring it back with no fuzz no mas. Inconspicuously located in an industrial area by River Road and Irving Park. When you walk in, you are pleasantly surprised by how nice the lobby is. Staff is super nice and accommodating, most of all honest about what's going on with the car. They'll take their time to show and explain, not pushy at all. Great service and pricing for a luxury car repair shop. I received worse service at an actual Mercedes dealer before. Very happy I found this place.

Nothing is special to say. Just very happy.Burdi Motorworks, specifically Carmine and Marcos, just do their best job.I came for Service B, replace wiper blades, check brakes.Carmine gave me a big discount as I were the 1st time customer. It made me surprise.They did their job with all their heart, and made their customer happy as much as possible.They tried to save customer s money, but with the best quality.They think for customer that what is the best for their customer.I am very happy that I found the best Mercedes Benz independence service in Illinois that I can trust.Highly strongly recommended!Tip: they also do Detail, and their Detailing service is good price.
