Proper Body Werks in Schaumburg was recommended to us by family member.I checked their long history of positive reviews across social media and some really good pics showing before and after work. Impressed, I contacted Proper Team and after a few short formalities, dropped of the car for evaluation of work. We quickly agreed on a few additional items recommended by the shop to further improve the appearance and functionality. It was a friendly and professional advice that came from years of experience and no pressure, and it was not a sales pitch. Am I glad now I did!For my 2010 Black Lexus RX 350 Proper Auto-body Werks repaired and repainted hood and both bumpers. Old paint was thoroughly stripped to bare metal, surface repaired, treated and repainted. Since I was paying myself for the work, I was concerned about cost but entire transaction was very transparent with excellent communication flow informing me on progress as I requested.Workmanship is top notch. Car was returned cleaned and sparkling like new.I recommend Proper Auto Body Werks!

Marcin and his team did an amazing job fixing and paint matching my damaged quarter panel. I can t even tell it s been repainted. Great experience from beginning to end, fair pricing and awesome communication. Definitely would recommend and without a doubt will by coming back for any bodywork that needs to get done!

Outstanding body shop. This is the shop you can trust 100%.Marcin and his team did a great job pulling out over 30 hail dents from my 2020 Volvo S60. The car looks like nothing ever happened.Marcin was very helpful, and very easy to communicate with.Thank You very much for your service.

I have had the opportunity to have a few cars not only repaired , but also maintained at the shop ! The quality of work, care, and effort that is performed and carried thru out the business here is yet to be matched by any means in my eyes, to any place i have been previously! As well as being a car enthusiast, it is very difficult to just hand over your keys to someone and have trust and faith that the work will be done correctly, and that the cost would never be a surprise! Let me assure you that the labor, time and effort these people put in to their profession is not only worth every single penny and then some, it shows that you can rest easy at night knowing your in some of the best caring hands around that i can say! From daily drivers, to exotics, performance and aesthetics, Proper Body Werks knocks it out of the park, and they get the job done right! Amazing service, I would truly recommend. This is the best auto body shop I have been too. I needed some work done on my brand new mustang, and they were truly helpful in providing me with both the proper recommendations and amazing work. Look no further, this is the place for any needs you may need for cars all of different makes, models, modifications, installations and specifications. I recently got some work done on my evo which includes new bumper, quarter panel rust repair, rust removal and reseal undercarriage, etc. Marcin took care of me. He s a great guy! He has a passion for cars and shares a lot of values in life as I do. Took my 86 Buick Grand National to have some work done to her. It turned out better than I expected and price was very reasonable. I m very happy with their work. Wow! Honest and capable auto body true craftsmen with ability and passion to help customer and solve some challenging problems.2015 Lexus RX 350My situation was desperately urgent and needed some help and guidance. Proper Body Werks team took on the challenge and solved my problems timely and within estimated budget.Their advice was practical and helpful.My 2015 Lexus RX 350 had a lot of hood rock chips and skols from highway debris. We, after all, have two seasons in metro Chicago: winter and construction. Both are not friendly to our car exteriors.My work was performed promptly.Front bumper had too much micro damage and it was suggested it was faster and less expensive to replace with OEM and paint to match. Hood was stripped, repaired and repainted to match. Color code Lexus Pearl White/Starfire Pearl (077) is a challenging color to match.Touch Up paint provided was a thoughtful touch. Every step of the project was well planned and executed while communicating important updates.2019 Toyota Corolla LEWhile my RX was in the shop, my Mother in Law 2019 Corolla was mercilessly vandalized on a shopping center parking. Deep Grove scratches had to be fixed.Proper tool the project on a short notice and completed within mutually agreed timeline. Repaired panels and doors were perfectly blended and you can't tell from close distanceThank you Proper Team for a well-done job. You are true Craftsman and pleasant to do-business with. Highly recommend!I was rear-ended on an icy morning. They helped me with all the insurance/rental car. They kept me up to date on repair progress. Happy to report the car is back to good as new!

I really wanted to give this place a good rating, but I found that one piece wasn t replaced and was bent back instead, when I drive on highway speeds the right side of my bumper detaches from the clips because the measurement between 2 bolts on that side weren t adjusted to spec.Reply to your reply:No, the measurements were at your shop and you completely ignored it because you told me my car was ready and there is nothing more you can do, also my windshield was cracked during the repair and thankfully I asked for pictures during the repair and were used to prove it was fine at drop off and was replaced at no cost. The grill was also painted with the wrong color but it wasn't a big deal. But yeah, the right side of the bumper keeps unclipping because of you unfinished work!

Had some quarter panel rust typical of Subarus and Marcin did a fantastic job. Had the panel rust cut and replaced, the passenger rear door Repainted, and the roof repainted. Also had the A pillars fixed of all rock chips. Honestly couldn t be happier with the results. Roof was redone is Audi s Brilliant Black and it looks amazing. Quarter panel looks brand new just like factory. Any rust removal and body work needed I would highly recommend these guys. Can t even tell anybody was in there. I gave Marcin my Lexus with bad previous paintwork, dents, and swirl marks everywhere. He did an amazing job taking care of the car. Paint work is fantastic, dents pulled out perfect, and the detail job is stunning. Marcin went completely out of his way to help give me a great experience at Proper BodyWerks.

I had my RX8 taken care of by Proper Body, and I have to say, they did a FANTASTIC job! Everything from prep work, to rust repair, to painting and part installations, they are a top ace body shop! Marcin and his father are very good at what they do, and are not unreasonable in the least. They showed me progress every step of the way, and always asked me if I wanted something done a certain way or not, and as you can clearly see for yourselves, the final product after a full paint job and body kit install is dream quality! I also had my Fiat 500 Abarth taken care of here after an accident, and I cannot complain at all. Definitely earned a customer for life!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim

I was referred here by a family friend who had nothing but a positive experience. After consulting a number of other shops around the area I decided to go with Proper BodyWerks. My vehicle (Tesla Model 3) had relatively heavy damage that affected the rear bumper and quarter panel. I decided to go with PDR and was fine with my vehicle not being 100% repaired. However, after talking with Marcin he told me that I would be more than happy with the repairs. When I picked up the car, it was true, I was extremely surprised that the repair made the car look brand new. I have had nothing but a positive experience with Marcin and Proper Bodywerks. The level of communication and transparency that I received was something that I honestly haven't had from other body shops in the past. If I unfortunately damage my car again, I will be coming back to this shop without hesitation.

Got into a small crash while pumping gas which caused visual damages to my front bumper/panel to my new 2021 Ram 1500. I immediately called the owner Marcin and explained everything. He helped me out and was super honest about everything.

Proper Bodywerks painted my entire VW GTI white(it was silver originally) and it turned out amazing ! More recently, I got into an accident with my 2023 Forester - the entire passenger side needed to be repainted . I just picked the car up and it looks better than it did when I picked it up from the dealership ! If you want your car fixed properly , I highly recommend bringing it here. You can tell no corners were cut, and an experienced professional did all the work. Marcin kept me posted every step of the way. This place will not let you down! Five star rating all the way.

I had them paint up a few bumpers for me as well as a few other pieces. Top notch work. Very responsive to my questions and messages. Knocked it all out in under a week. I was looking for a body shop to build a relationship with so I can get stuff like this done. Paint match is spot on. I will definitely be returning in the future for my body shop needs.

Cool guy! Changed and painted bumpers. Detailed and repaired all dents. Set up engine covers. Showed photos of the process. Now 10 year old car looks like new.

I recently just received my truck back from Proper BodyWerks and I can't be any happier! I purchased a damaged truck late last year and brought it to this small family owned shop. Within weeks it was fully completed which was super fast for how damaged it was. Most shops were booked out for weeks and their prices were a lot higher than Proper BodyWerks. They replaced the entire front end which included all the structural pieces as well. I inspected the truck over and over again after all the repairs were done and I can't even tell anything was damaged before. I had body work done before on my vehicles but nothing to this level. Marcin and his guys do amazing work and even went the extra mile for me and did a few aftermarket upgrades for me.
