3/2024 5* I have not been to this shop for about 20 years. I had moved further away and was using another Midas shop for that time. However, when I tried to call and even book online at that shop I got no response for a few days. Still have not heard back from them. So they lost my business and I am now back here. Matt (the manager) and Jim (the mechanic) took great care of me and my vehicle. Very personal attention to me, and they fixed the car great! They have earned my business and I will drive a bit further next time to get serviced by them! Thanks to the team there!

There are many options in the area. This Midas was about $10 more expensive. They did match the price. I chose it because they sounded professional. I m glad I chose Mike and Matt the managers at this location because they took care of my vehicle with exceptional service I would recommend and come here again.

I went in for an oil change, using a $69.99 full synthetic coupon. It included a multi-point inspection which found I was badly in need of new brake pads/rotors, among other important but less urgent things. I received an itemized quote for all services, which I found very helpful. In the end, I went to a mechanic friend who was able to do my brakes for me as a favor. However, even though I canceled my brake appointment with Midas- Mike was professional, understanding, and kind. I quickly was approved online for a promotional period interest-free Midas credit card, and will keep this Schaumburg location in mind for future work needed on my car. They also put on my new plates!

Well we had a terrible experience a couple months ago. We took our minivan to get an oil change, brakes changed, and tires rotated. The mechanic test drove our car and got into a minor accident (someone backed into the car), and we had to go through our insurance to get it fixed, what a hassle, Midas just apologized but we didn't get any compensation, just a damaged car. Then last night as I was driving home I was hearing a horrible clanking noise, we took the car to another shop and looks like the front brake caliber was missing bolts, so it was coming loose and bouncing off the rim! We considered going to Midas to have them redo the brakes job but we've had such a bad experience with them we're never going back.

Scammers!!! I left my car here for a simple alignment was so simple cause they didn t nothing to the car they just make money to keep my car there for one day,my mechanic discovered cause they never touch nothing behind the front wheels and i need to make the alignment again and change the front tires thank you Midas staff.. i will never come again .. i hope others learn a lesson from my experience and next time when they come here to fix a car they need to ask for proofs is so simple to say yes is fix and make the payment

I went in to get my exhaust that's been Poisoning me for a long time. I want to get it patched, but turns out it couldn't be patched because something was wrong with my pipes. They weren't normal, but Mike explained it to me thoroughly. And Jim went to work on it. And I just got my car back. It's quiet I don't smell the fumes. It's so much quieter I love it. I would definitely recommend This place, and these people!

Just picked up my quiet car and am so pleased with the service provided to me by Jimmy, Mike & Ray. They were the most friendly group of professionals & I knew I was in good hands straight away! No nonsense & no trying to upswell or take advantage of me. The greatest group of guys I d had to pleasure to deal with. Very professional, efficient, honest and helpful! Bad service !! Over the phone they have committed that the tire rotation service is covered in oil change service but later denied and said they are franchise so tire rotation will cost me extra $30 .dirty sitting arrangement. All the sofas had cracks.

Installed muffler tips on my BMW 2 years ago. Omar did a grt job with the installation. However, one of the old muffler tip was lost by one of the mechanic. But the store owner gave the credit for that.

Sammy did right by me. My exhaust system needed to fixed right away. And it was, for a very fair price. The waiting room and bathroom were very clean. And I have never seen so many magazines in a car repair place. I'm glad I went there.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I would not trust their services for vehicle repair that required more mechanical knowledge. For example, I had all my engine mounts replaced by them and less than 2 years the two front engine mounts had to be replaced again. The same happened with my struts which had to go back multiple times to have them fix them. Ok with brakes and tired replacements but anything more extensive would be cautious.

They are a lier. Do not take your car to this location. They sold me buy one get one free oil change for extra money and told me it will never expire. After a year I tried to make an appointment online, they did not approve my appointment and when called them they told me my promotion is expired. Price was 59.99$ and they charged me 89.99$. They are thief and stealing money. Unfortunately I can not give them less than one star. Do not go to Midas at 506 w golf rd, Schaumburg.Service: Oil change

Would give 6 stars if possible. Mike at Midas was extremely trustworthy, professional, saved me thousands of dollars on car repairs, and the turn around time was extremely quick.If you re looking for car repairs / maintenance in the northwest suburbs - I highly recommend coming here. The whole team is intelligent and in constant communication with you about the status of your vehicle.Thanks Midas!

When another shop just down the road told me they were too busy today to help fill my tires with air, I went to Midas. They filled them and I was on my way in just a couple minutes. They didn't charge me anything either. Thank you guys so much!!

I m glad I found a great car service shop! Awesome people hard workers and as honest as they come. Very happy with service and communication. Brought both cars here including my Lincoln where the put a new engine on it. They made a lot of efforts on it and great follow up. If you re looking for a great place to fix/repair your car this is it!Ask for Jim ( the guy who ll fix everything) and Mike the manager and you ll be taken care in the best way possible.Glad I won t be looking for any other shop anymore!Thank you guys.

Mike took my son's older model Saturn and performed extensive brake work along with a/c work. He advised exactly what needed to be done while showing us and explained why the work was needed. He also fixed up my Kia with a spare tire that was needed and made sure the tire fit before taking it home. Thanks for the great service Mike. We will be back.

Sad that I even have to write this review... Had taken my car in last week to get a routine oil change at this Midas location. Was told I would need new brakes and tires (this was correct) however I was quoted $2500 which was astonishingly higher than any other place I've looked into. I told them I would not be able to work with that price. They serviced me for just my oil change that day and I left.A week later (today) I bring my car into a reputable shop to get my tires done and I note to them that since my oil change my car has been running slower. They took a look and showed me that my oil was over filled and basically choking out my engine. They also noted that Midas left on the old gasket when it should have been replaced and caused damage to the hardware holding the plate. The pan itself was soaked on the exterior with oil. I have photos of everything the mechanic was showing me .. basically this was complete negligence on Midas's behalf and I will never come back to this location. The guy lied straight to my face when I asked if everything else looked good. So deeply disappointed in their service .. would highly recommend saving your money and going elsewhere.

Very friendly and knowledgeable from the moment I walked in. I got a puncture in my tire pulling onto I-90 and this was the first place off the first exit I came to. I typically go elsewhere so was nervous walking in. But was greeted and helped very professionally. They were able to get me a new tire quickly and even helped me get a finance contract because I was pushing it trying to pay for it. Jim is a fantastic mechanic. Very honest and trustworthy. Went in felt my brakes weren t working properly after Jim s inspection it was determined that I needed new breaks and rotors. Now I can drive with confidence knowing that my car will stop. Thanks Jim for your expertise. Something happened with our skeed plate under our car, was hanging lose from one corner, we came here and Ben helped us, he was very nice, he fixed it in righ away. He has been very nice all the times that we have been there.

I use to go to a different shop but I found out that my mechanic, Jim Fusha no longer worked there. Luckily, my brother in law worked with him in the past at that same shop and he was able to tell me that Jim is now at this Midas shop . He s a great mechanic and pulls no punches. Honest and trustworthy. Everyone at the shop was friendly. So glad I can continue to have reliable and trustworthy people working on my car!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Not pleased with $107 for an oil change even though it is claimed to be buy one get one free. I m not from the area so I ll never use it. I was told $89. I wasn t aware that tax was 20% either considering nowhere else it is. Plus, the amount of up selling was extremely uncomfortable after I refused multiple times and told the owner no repeatedly but kept on, insisting even tried to get me a loaner car so they could keep mine and charge me 1000s I live two hours away. I will never be back. The staff were all very friendly and very nice. The owner is the one you would have to watch out for. I had to catch an attitude towards the end in order for him to stop trying to get me to spend over $1000 when I came in for a simple oil change. Told me my bearings were loose and bad I just had them done not even a month ago. Yes, my axle does need to be replaced because it has a crack on the shield part so grease is getting everywhere in undercarriage but I literally just had my car serviced a month ago.Service: Oil change
