We have had to use Gerber three times in the last two years and all three times they have done a great job. Luckily for me my parts were in relatively quickly (couple of weeks) and my car was done in a matter of days. The staff was friendly and they kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle once it was dropped off for repair. I was given a window of time when it would be done and it was completed during that window. I would refer them to friends and family if they are using insurance to cover the cost of the repair.

I would like to thank the Manager, Chad. He assessed the damage to my car and provided a reasonable and accurate estimate. I would also like to thank Zac who coordinated with me on drop off and got me some discount subsequently. They also went above and beyond and help with few touchup and water drip strip install without charging extra. The repair was completed on time. The receptionist, Don, was also cautious. I had a very pleasant experience and will recommend this shop to anyone that wants a good job with good people.

10/10 - Highly recommended, no pun needed.The team that did the repairs and painting surprised me. Was worried about the paint blend but they did a fantastic job. Worked with the person that hit my car to pay out of pocket and Miguel did a great job to meet my needs in an affordable manner. Jasmine provided premier customer service, couldn't ask for a better experience. They fixed my baby!Replaced bumper and bumper cover, driver side quarter panel and liner (among a few internal parts). Great body work and great paint blend.

My car was brought to Gerber. They did excellent work on the car. The only drawback was we had to wait for parts from Honda took almost 6 months. They stayed in contact with me the whole time to keep me updated but all we had to do is wait. If you have to wait there while they work on your car be aware sitting is very uncomfortable. While working on my windshield they broke a part of my rearview mirror and all my indoor car lights were left on. It was super sunny and I didn't realize it til I got home after being out a couple of hours.

This place is the absolute best. Zachary did our quote for us and got our car done quickly and efficiently. They made everything quite effortless on our end and went ABOVE & BEYOND on the repairs. If we're ever in need of repairs in the future, this is the only spot we will take our vehicles! I haven't seen my car look this pretty in years! Not only did they take care of the body work, they detailed my car! (Tony did the detailing , and quite frankly, he is a treasure.) Scratches were buffed, the yellow haze is gone from the headlights...it looked amazing. I fell in love with my car all over again!. They communicated in a timely manner - and finished the job early. Everyone was professional, efficient and paid attention to details. The body work was gorgeous. Totally recommend this place!Service: Body & Trim

The team at the Schaumburg Gerber location is by far the best! From the front desk to the service team and all the way to delivery. Repairs were completed 3 days sooner than expected and the results were flawless. They even cleaned the interior and washed the exterior! Honestly always a pleasure to have work done by Gerber. The staff are all super friendly and they bend over backwards to make the customer happy. Sadly, that seems to be rare these days. They charge fair prices for parts and labor. They pass on savings to the customer and that is most appreciated.

Rating customer service only.Brought a work cargo van in for an estimate back in January 2023, after our insurance approved the cost to repair we schedule for repairs and the van was to be dropped of 3/21. 3/6 got a call that we had to be moved to 3/29, 3/28 we get a call to say our vehicle is too large to fit in their bays for repair. I'm not saying this is a lie, but why did it take this long to figure out the vehicle was too large?Manager Miguel, was kind enough to come up with a solution and our vehicle is now at a different Gerber location. Thank you, I do appreciate the time you've taken to make it right!

Great team at this location. Tina at the front desk is amazing! Excellent customer service skills. Miguel, the estimator, is also very helpful and professional. My car looks great after getting my whole tailgate replaced after an accident. Great communication with my insurance company throughout the whole process. Even had a rental car there waiting for me when I dropped off my vehicle, which was nice. Will def use them again if need be.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had a fender bender that required replacement of my front bumper and other work inside my hood. Gerber was professional, courteous, responsive and kept me informed of progress via text regularly. Amazing service and body work overall. Matt and Miguel kept me updated throughout the whole process. It took just under 2 months but it is understandable due to the supply constraints. My car looks like new! No color mismatching issues that many experience when getting their car painted in general. I had minor damage on front of my car due to hitting raccoon. I had aftermarket intercooler and asked if they can replace it with same brand. Miguel Deniz (manager) confirmed that he can do if I provide info of supplier. There was 2 option as replacement. One was required custom work on car and the other is direct fit. I said I can install the intercooler, if they get the bigger one. Smaller one is direct fit no custom work needed. They got the small one and didn't install it. They charged the insurance for everything but didn't do the installation of the intercooler. Later he blamed my car being not original and modified. There is nothing to do with that because the part is direct fit. There were couple of other issues I had but they solved it so I am not mentioning those but they are very unprofessional place. I would not recommend anyone. Such a small job with couple of issue. Plus it took more than a month to get it done.

Gerber had my car for over 3 months. I was told on 5 separate occasions that I would have my car back on Friday. Friday would come and go, I would call them on Monday and they would either say "I'm sorry no one should have told you that" or they would say "I'm sorry it will be ready by this Friday". I fully understand that parts are on back order but stop telling customers that the car will be ready and then it's not for another month and a half. They need to do better at communicating with each other before calling the customer.Service: Body & Trim

I was very impressed with the customer service, they kept me up to date almost daily as to where they were at on fixing my vehicle. As for working with the insurance company they handled everything down to even setting up the loaner vehicle, the ease of the whole process was outstanding, I would definitely recommend them as I already have to a few friends, they did an amazing job on my vehicle!Service: Body & Trim

Great experience with this Gerber - Mark was thorough in explaining everything and timely following up via emails, calls and texts to keep me informed along the way. The repair needed was quite extensive and supposed to take a month, but Mark and his crew completed it in 10 days!

I chose Gerber Collision & Glass for repairs to my vehicle after a minor accident. My 2013 civic needed significant repairs on the front end, and Matt Henneken and his team did a fabulous job with the work. His team was great at communicating updates throughout the repair process. The team was very friendly while I was waiting for my ride to pick me up after dropping off my vehicle. Tina Cruz at the front desk was helpful in answering my questions about the repair timeline. I drove an hour from downtown Chicago to book repairs with Gerber at 819 Estes Ave in Schaumburg, and I would make the trip again in a heartbeat for any future repairs. The team went above and beyond, even polishing and touching up a scratch on my car that was not a part of scheduled repairs with some extra paint. It was thoughtful, and made the trip out to Schaumburg even more worth it.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
