Facility is very clean. Matthew is fantastic!! Had an issue with a tire and handled it eloquently. Checked me in immediately. Can't say enough! Make sure to come here for services!!

These guys that work here are young and some of them don't know what they're doing In my opinion. It's not their fault they've been trained very carefully to operate the way they do.One of them refused to put tires I brought in to them on my trailer based on a misinformed argument regarding rim size width specifications. Wasted several hours of one of my days because of their incompetency. When I went to the next tire shop they said that discount tire did not know what they were talking about and put the tires on my trailer.Second strike: I asked for a simple leak repair today and the guy complicated it way too dramatically. He was basically trying to sell me a new set of tires that I don't need.Corporate America box store thinking. This is a national chain that methodically harvest money from its customers by upsell and other snide tactics. Whatever happened to the good old tire shops?Firestone down the street knows what they're doing and they have very competent service writers and technicians. They don't complicate. I do not have time or resources to contribute to the coffers of discount tire.I've been getting tires for 45 years.I have worked as a mechanic when I was young and I know how to mount and balance tires personally.Discount tire does not know what they're doing. The feeling I got from them both times loud and clear is very similar to the feelings I get from Apple. It's all about "them".There is something fundamentally disingenuous about their business theory and operating policies. I'm so tired of people wasting my time trying to reach into my pockets to satisfy their stingy selfish greed.I also have been in sales for 35 years and I would be very surprised if the service writers at discount tire do not get commissions, based on behavior and attitude I have seen.

When there, made appointment with very knowledgeable associate. When I came back for my appointment I had a bad luck to meet very unpleasant guy, who was very disappointed about me having my own Tire sensors I wanted installed, on top on that didn't want to install my new wheel, because my old one was cracked. Completely nonsense! Never going back for sure.

Great service came in with a flat. Walked out in 74 minutes with 4 new tires. Got some guy complaining next to me. Needs a slap. This is not easy working on cars. These guys are doing their best. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful. They fixed up my new tires super quick and helped me find some nice affordable ones. Driving home after was really smooth!

Very pushy salesmen. Over heard them trying to sell services by scaring naive women into getting unnecessary things done. We got car back and they performed the wrong task than what was asked of them. When we told them they persisted we should leave as is because it s safer. So basically ignored what was asked of them and did what they felt. Or just didn t want to admit they made a mistake and tried to justify doing what they did rather than be a stand up person and admit they made a mistake. Not a good experience

I ve been to this location 6 times in the last 3 years, and never had a bad experience. The service is always faster than the estimated time, it s done well, they are friendly and respectful, easy to talk to. It seems like they also watch out for the best interest of the customer, saving me from spending more money on stuff that I did not actually need. I would use this location again.

This place is awesome! Customer service is amazing! I purchased new rims and tires for my car a few months ago. My front left tire was damaged. I came in spoke with Josh and he was able to get me in same day. They Replaced my tire under the warranty I just had to pay a very small replacement fee. If You need tires this is the place!

Great place for tires and customer service! Bought 4 tires from them about a year ago. I take my car back every 6000 miles so they can rotate and balance for free. Never had a issue, we are definitely coming back.

Worse location ever, I understand that it s gets busy, but when I show up at 2 and pay for a service and was ask to come back at 530 for my car to get service I didn t expect to still be waiting at 730 in my car without anything getting done. They need to learn to communicate better with their customers, wasted my whole day here. Talked to the manager (his name is Jose) and he said I have customers waiting longer than that , like if that s supposed make me feel any better, then when I asked him for a customer support Numeber he said what is that call supposed to do for you? . Honestly the worse customer support. Doesn t even deserve 1 star.

Car rim scratched during service while replacing tire. I brought my car in to Discount Tire Schaumburg on 11/13/21 to get it's rear passenger side tire replaced because it got punctured. I had ordered the day prior and dropped my car off, a few hours later it was ready for pickup. I was one of the last, if not the last customer picking up, it was around 6:45pm and dark out, tire looked fine, but when I got home I noticed the damage on the rim on the rear as shown. They didn't say a word about it when I brought it in the following day. If this is what they can do replacing just one of your tires imagine what they could do when they replace all four. They ended up replacing the 400 dollar rim completely after a month and a half later after dozens of emails and phone calls on 12/31/21. Whilst the store denied any fault, saying there was nothing wrong with the rim. Next time I'm going to a legit company or a dealership that knows how to do the job right without damaging my car. I wouldn't risk taking your car here, not worth the slightly lower price. I received beyond poor customer service and found it hard to have anything done by the store and company to fix this problem. Edit: They also covered the cost of the tire replacement as well as the rim.

Went to this location and told them the tire I saw and wanted on the website. They had it in stock. He said you can do a walk in or set an appointment. I decided to do the next day walk in at 8am on a Saturday. Right away took my car, switched the tires, balanced them and put new windshield wipers on. I was out in 20 minutes!! Smooth ride and great traction on these phantom tires!! These workers were unbelievable!! Very friendly staff!! Love how the workers were blasting music, jamming and having fun while they work!! No joke made my day!! Gonna be goin to this place from now on!! Oh and have to add, the people complaining below me, ignore them. Sounds like sensitive people taking things the wrong way, judging by the way someone looks or is just always cranky. Not one staff member there was rude or ignorant. 4 guys in the lobby asked me and others if they were good and takin care of. Even the ones workin on my tires were super friendly!!

All I wanted is for them to check for leak, dismount and mount the tire back on. Thank God i didn't show up with my car! Because i wouldn't be able to leave probably... This is my winter steup. Again this is OEM wheel with 35 profile winter tire...They called telling me that the tire is old and they can't mount it back on because do to age and tire is damaged. Tire looks fine. Not only they scratched my wheel but they bend it! Inside !!! See it for yourself. I'm done with discount tire! Different location also messed up my other rims few years back ! I'm done ! They did offer to fix it. I refused!

this place has given me the worst experience ive ever had with the discount tire brand. Ive been to other discount tires never had a issue , but this place took horrible service to the next level. First i book a appointment and prepaid online with specific tires that were supposedly in stock 3 days in advance from the appointment which means these guys had 3 days to call me and say that their system was wrong and they werent in stock instead my employee gets there and they tell him they dont have them when were already there. We dont have time to waste it is not our fault you guys cant manage your inventory properly. Second issue is they try to lie to my employee and try to force him to buy new tmps sensors and were refusing to let the car go unless he bought them. Thankfully he knew better and told them to kick rocks. You cant legally hold a car over some sensors that tell you your tire pressure are you serious? The fact thatThat they tried to pull a slimy way of trying to upsell their product is horrendous to say the least.

Had some wheel damage and had to get the wheels replaced. The whole process was pretty good, and they always had me out in less than an hour, even when they were at their busiest (make sure to make an appointment, if you are able!).Thanks to Michael (salesperson) and Matt (helped with a small post-install issue) for your assistance. Overall, I found my experience with this Discount Tire to be better than other tire/wheel experiences.

Worst experience at this Discount Tire Schaumburg location. Very rude while handing the car for tire rotation. This is the second bad customer experience at this specific location!!!! I would suggest to avoid this location, all other locations customer service was pleasant, been to many other locations before. When spoke to manager they said short staffed, even if short staffed they should explain in a good way not being rude to customers which will not achieve anything!!! I hope management considers training at this location to at-least talk properly to customers!!!

I ran over a curb during a romantic getaway 300 miles from home. I had been towed to a hotel and was able to get an appointment at this Discount Tire. Management, please give props to Matt and Mike who helped me 3 hours before my appointment due to AAA having me towed there too soon. The tow truck insisted that there were tire shops closer, but Discount Tire still has the best warranty and I walked out with minimal damage.

I've always had wonderful service here - Victoria helped do my air for me today and offered to see if she could get me in for my slow leak to be repaired and was super knowledgeable and personal! Definitely appreciate the service.

You can't beat the service, hard work, and fair prices of Discount tires stores. The people they hire at this Schaumburg location are always super nice and very professional. I've had similar great experiences at the Carpentersville and Lake in the Hills locations as well. I've had new tires, new rims, repaired tires, replacements w warranty, and rotations all services here.

Random Tuesday 4p pulled in for an Air Check...Have gotten most, if not all of the tires for my 7 identical (now "antique") cars over the last 20+ years from Discount Tire & used to refer my friends. After sitting & waiting for a few minutes with NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT, Jose walked over & for the first time at any location, TURNED ME AWAY! Jose told me he COULD NOT HELP ME & was CLOSING the Air Check, even after I had been waiting - told me & a couple cars behind me to COME BACK during rush hour at 5p! WHO in their right mind does that??!I guess it might be time to find a different tire source with better Customer Service...

I had a great experience with this tire shop. The folks who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. The service is fairly fast. The prices are affordable. What else could I ask for.Keep up the good work guys!

This is my story : went to the store to change a rear tire of my vehicle , I ended up getting sold with an amazing deal to change the 2 front tires as well then after that I started hearing a weird noise coming through the front right tire took it back to the shop and then they washed their hands saying it could be the suspension so they don t wanna take responsibility for it.

My OEM lug nuts were improper for my OEM rims and I should buy theirs in order to have my wheels rotated. No thanks.

Poor experience- came in for a free flat repair as I had strapped my truck down on the valve stem and caused a slow leak. I was very aware of the issue. I ve been a discount tire customer always so I thought I would use the free service.The team did not even take the wheel off the car, called me back and said it s a leak on the actual rim of the wheel. It was not. The lug nuts were not touched. They showed me a video and this was not my wheel.I did not want to argue so I went to another place. It was the valve stem as noted.Very very disappointed. Bad business at this location.

I just want to acknowledge that Matt and Aaron went above and beyond to take care of my car and within my limited time, they really worked with me and I don t know otherwise how I would have managed without their help. The service and friendliness and willingness to help in my time of need is so appreciated you guys, I hope your manager does something nice for you both!
