They have been servicing my 2003 Chevrolet Tracker for over 12 years. During that time Ottavio moved from shop to shop. I followed him because he truly cares about his customers! Recently, Thursday evening, my baby died just as I was parking at a restaurant. I called him and he answered right away. WHO DOES THAT!?!? I told him what happened and I told him that I would give my keys to the restaurant owner inside because he knows me very well. Ottavio told me he would get a tow truck to come over and pick it up from Rolling Meadows and drive it to the shop in Schaumburg within 90 minutes. I called a friend who gave me a ride home. Everything went perfectly. He started working on my baby right away the next day. He found out that I needed a new alternator. He warrantied everything and because he wanted everything he is going to charge the vendors for the towing fee. AGAIN WHO DOES THAT!?!? Needless to say I highly no ... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DATTOLO AUTOMOTIVE!!!!!

I highly recommend Dattolo! I've been going to them for a year now for oil changes. My favorite part is they send you photos and the computer report on your car, so you know exactly the condition each part they check. Oil changes have been quick.

I was referred to this place by a trusted friend. I had little issue making an appointment and was not disappointed with the service. My issues were addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The printed out a frickin diagnostic report of my my car for no charge. Who does that? Made a recommendation to think about a new battery, which I ordered from them on the spot. They installed, and disposed of the old one. Thaks to ther suggestion, I had no issues starting my car during the deep freeze. They didn t force any unneeded work or services either. My takeaways from my visit is that this is a mechanic you can trust.

Great experience working with Chris and Ottavio on a pre-sale inspection. I was provided with an honest evaluation of the vehicle and recommended future repairs were made. The shop staff was very friendly and accommodating. Both Chris and Ottavio answered all of my questions in detail. This shop invests in the latest equipment and it shows. Needed a new battery, couldn't turn vehicle off, wouldn't restart. Called and explained my situation. Was told to drive to shop, was able to have tech r&r battery. Was on my way in no time ! I realize this is the exception to the rule but they went out of their way to help my situation. Much appreciated!

Took my 2012 Nissan Sentra in for an oil change and tire rotation, they did a thorough inspection of my car and provided detailed information on everything they found. They did not try to upsell me on any unnecessary services, were very professional and timely. Will definitely be going back for all my service needs in the future!

The team at Dattolo Automotive provides excellent service to us at Ashland Door Solutions. They go out of their way to service our fleet of vehicles, and make sure we are safe on the road. Ottavio is always so great to meet our fleet needs, provide advice, and is also trusted with our personal vehicles as well. Dattolo will always be our go-to-shop! Found a great Groupon deal for oil change and inspection- they were so nice the waiting room was very nice open and clean with a lot of drink choices I loved the espresso machine. Got recommended to come to this shop to fix my ac by my mechanic who I trust. It started back at the end of July trying to get my ac fixed the part was on back order got told it would be there in two weeks not a call nothing no updates I call and they say it should be in the end on the week call again at the end of July nothing call in August get told it will be in end of September. Call in October 2nd should be in the end of the week call Friday just got off the phone they said it will be in Monday I call on Tuesday get told again will be in by Friday it s Friday now and not one phone call or communication at all. My patience has run out. This place does not communicate what so ever with you I had to constantly call to get the same answer over and over. Not once did they bother to call and update me on my part. They just ran me in circles. I called the dealership to ask about the part and they were able to assist me right away and have it ready for me in 2-3 business days. At this point I m out $200 on a part that will forever be on back order and a whole summer with no A/C would not recommend coming here. Communication is horrible would not trust my vehicle being in this shop.Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Cannot recommend these guys enough, second time coming for a issue and they are professional, courteous, and "Real" with you. Brad and the guys at Dattolo were communicative and responsive throughout the process - and helped weigh my options and help me the right the decision ( which wasn't even to keep my car). Good guys and Great work

Brought my car in for an oil change ,fuel induction service and new spark plugsOn 6/12/23Thought it would improve my gas mileage but so far it hasn tCar is running fine so no complaints so far !Have put on about 160 miles so far -I haven t noticed any hesitation so far -so that s great !!They do a great job !!Ottavio and Jose are great to deal with !!I highly recommend Dattolo

Gary is the best! He went above and beyond making sure my vehicle was in perfect working condition. We have a new baby so he made sure that my vehicle was absolutely dependable. Dattolo Automotive is a great place! The people especially Bradley was professional and very kind, he explained what my car needed in the future without making me feel I needed to get it done right then and there and I really appreciated this because people that work in the automotive business tend to take advantage of women and this person made me feel very comfortable, and explained things to me in detail for my next visit. Very informative, professional and detail oriented. Gave me all the details of what was needed prior to do the work. When completed Car was running like new again. Very reasonably priced. Charged exactly what the estimate was. I took my daughters focus in for oil change and inspection. They gave me a very detailed list of things the car needed. What made my experience a positive one is they don't pressure you into anything. I know the car has issues some of them I can take care of myself. The team at Dattolo is unmatched. I was across the country on a road trip needing some maintenance on my truck. They understood my urgency and made sure to make my issues a priority. I made it back home 2,000 miles with not the slightest issue. This is the type of shop you send your loved ones to to keep them safe and on the road!

Oil change and tire rotation was fine, BUT, the bull s--t inspection in which they said I need $3000+ worth of work on my 3 year old car is a huge red flag. I apparently need all 4 tires replaced, they are less than a year old. I need to spend $1,700 on new shocks and struts. The only thing that they were accurate on was that my brakes are due to be changed, however, not for $475 per axle! I will not be going back.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change
