Family and I have been going to Car Doctor Jr for about a year now with 3 vehicles. Bill is very communicative and their integrity is above the norm. Would recommend.

Bill did a great job on helping me out. Could not pass emissions for my life. My sticker was expired since Dec2021 and could not figure out a solution. Bill took 20 min of his time and got me to pass emissions. Great guy, great shop, and will be back. Got my registration and sticker and 0 problem. He is the real deal check him out for all your car needs

By far the most reasonable prices to bring your car to I had a estimate for 900 dollars just for my water pump at a place I won't say and I got alot of other repairs done on my car for almost the same price by car dr . I won't bring my car any where else !

If you ever stuck at crossroads with your emissions failing or any other repairs. Stop and call Car Doctor JR right now. The BEST mechanic service I have ever received! Jeff is an absolute car genius and knows how to get you back on the road fast ! Bill is very outstanding as well! Don t stress any more just call this company and ask for Jeff or Bill!

Car Doctor is the best, not only is he the best at emissions fixing, he's a good solid guy....he always has a great attitude and never takes advantage of people. I brought my 2013 Versa there, under the assumption that it was one thing, that was going to cost me 400 (to get my check engine light to go off and pass emmissions). I brought it to the good doctor and he realized it was something else... he fixed it and was able to take it to the emissions center and get my car to pass emissions for under 200. I didn't even have to wait in line, he took it there for me. Thanks so much "Car Doctor"...you really are a "Nice Doctor"!

Yesterday, I was on my way to sell my car to CarMax and after adding some gas on the way there one of my warning lights displayed on the dashboard. I was quite frustrated because I was 10 minutes away from selling my car. I stopped at the Car Doctor in Schaumburg and Jeff took the time to stop what he was doing to give my car a quick diagnosis. It turned out that it was just a minor tire sensor issue and not something with the engine which would have lowered the value of my car. He told me this issue should not reduce the appraisal value of my car. He turned out to be exactly correct because I had done an online appraisal before going to turn the car in and the physical inspection did not reduce the value I had already been quoted. Jeff didn't even charge me for the service and refused to accept any compensation when I offererd to pay him something. His reviews reveal that he has a great reputation and I can certainly say that I experienced it first hand. I would highly recommend him for any of your service needs because being fair and honest is his trademark.

My second review because I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I m so grateful that I found them years ago and I will be giving them my business for years to come. They are always honest and stand by their word. They really do care about their customers. They have done right by me so many times. Truly the best out there!!

To be honest I haven t actually had my car serviced here. However, I called them because I was having a lot of issues with my car. I don t remember who I spoke with but he was kind enough to spend almost 20 minutes on the phone with me to explain what might be going on with my car and what a dealership would recommend versus an independent mechanic. Truly appreciated his time and honesty.

Bill was an amazing rep and thoughtfully helped with my issue, can be difficult to find a reputable honest car shop that are mindful of people s actual car situations, and ultimately that is what matters in the long run, having a great reputation. More than happy to support this business and will definitely come back soon and bring a family member s car to get fixed. And being able to renew car registration stickers here is a plus!

Car Doctor Jr. is my go to mechanic. They have always been fair, honest, and hard working. I ve never had a problem that they couldn t fix! I had failed the emissions test. I was able to fix the issue, but had Jeff rescan the car. He said I was good to go and sent me on my way. In and out in a few minutes. Thank you Jeff of Car Doctor. Youre the best! We will be seeing you soon.

Where should I start my review? First, Jeff is a highly skilled mechanic that has serviced over 20-25 different vehicles of mine since 1997. My entire family uses his services and we have never had any complaints. I really like that he listens to you as a customer and speaks directly to you. He always diagnoses the issue and then calls to let you know prior to beginning the work.I work on my own vehicles a lot and restore vehicles as a hobby. It is really hard to drop vehicles off for someone else to work on them but I do not have time to fix daily drivers on my own. I would trust Jeff with the most complex of issues. He is honest, has integrity and best of all is one of the most knowledgeable repair men in the business. Thank you for all the years of putting up with all my questions and repairing my vehicles. This 5 star review is long overdue. Pete

Our family has been going here for years! Highly recommended, wonderful staff that'll always get you a fair deal for the quality work they do:) Great no hassle place to get your plate stickers too. We may have moved but I don't care where we're at, I'll have my car towed here every time. This staff goes above and beyond every time, I can't say thank you enough when 90% of my visits were stressful from my car breaking down (it was 19 yrs old) and they kept it going over 220k miles!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Jeff for over 16 years. He has always done right by my family. He is more than fair with his fees. Most importantly he has never, ever tried sell work our cars didn't need. In fact, quite the opposite. Having 7 kids and almost as many cars, Jeff has always helped us postpone stuff that wasn't urgent or offered alternatives to save money on a repair (used parts rather than new, etc.). I have referred many friends to Jeff who have had the same great experience.

One of the rarest things in the automotive Market is an honest mechanic and you will find one here at the Car Doctor. The owner Jeff and office manager bill will work with you to resolve whatever problem your vehicle may have in the most economical way. I've been going to them for several years and have always found them to be helpful responsive and fix the vehicle right the first time I highly recommend Car Doctor for all of your Automotive needs

The "car doctor" doesn't know how to install modern pieces into modern cars. I'm sure they can maybe do decent jobs on older cars because there is not much programming necessary. However with newer cars, basically everything needs to be programmed and this shop does not know how to do this. Avoid this place at all costs if you have a car newer than 2015 ish. Also google started allowing small business owners to delete bad reviews as of a few years ago, so just take note of the bad reviews from a few years ago and how there's magically no more bad reviews as of the last one or two years

I dropped off my work (Landscaping) dump truck to have the brakes looked at and a wiper hose replaced. Being a business owner I was about losing a day to the repairs being done. I was told I d have it by days end. For me, losing a day means I have to double up the amount of houses that I maintain the following day.The truck was repaired with appropriate charges that I would expect. It was ready when Jeff said it was going to be ready and all these things are of upmost importance to me. Now my big dump truck which hauls the trailer and materials is safe to drive. That benefits me and everyone else on the road.I tell a lot of people about Car Doctor Jr. because it s the best work and best customer service I ve ever found. However, sometimes I think to myself, I should keep him a secret because he s so honest, hard-working and reliable. But I still refer everyone who asks to My Guy, Jeff . Jeff and his crew are, without question, the best mechanics I ve ever had the pleasure to have service my vehicles. I truly feel like they look after my vehicles like they re their own. I ll NEVER go anywhere else.

My parents love this place. They say the owners are fair and don t charge you extra for stuff you don t need (unusual for a car dealership!) I m in for my first oil change and everything I heard Bill say in the phone seems to be what s best for the customer (for example, telling customers they don t need to spend money immediately on a part but can wait a little while). He helped choose the best option oil for my car and didn t try to upcharge. The honesty is much appreciated and hard to come by nowadays!Edit: they re all so nice! They keep apologizing for the long wait (they even had a special part delivered for my car). This wait is nothing compared to other places I ve been! Very professional place.Thanks Jeff, Bill, and team!

Truly car repair experts! I feel I have a peace of mind every time I bring my car here. Jeff and his team are amazing. They are professionals and polite with customers. It's hard to find a good auto repair. I found Car Doctor Jr.a and is excellent. I highly recommend to put your car on the hands of Jeff and his team!

Replaced oil switch. I am 81 years young and my car (Her name is Sophia and she is a golden girl as I am)is almost as old as I am. We were treated with respect and was NEVER talked down to as other place have. I will return to Car Doctor Jr.,and the two gentlemen, Jeff and Bill that I had the privilage of working with. I'm sure there are others there that need recognition, but I didn;t meet them. Thank you ALL for a pleasant experience.Pat Romano

Jeff is our "go to" guy for automotive repairs. It is difficult to locate an honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced shop. We would never go anywhere else. We definitely recommend him for any kind of issues. Thanks Jeff, for always taking care of us!
