You will not find a better mechanic nor a nicer person. Gerry and his team are, of course, very skilled at what they do; however, they go far beyond and treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy. Their customer service is what I would call "old school" - like back when people actually cared about your business and you as a person. They explain everything that is going on with your car in plain terms so that anyone can understand. They give you options and solutions rather than terminology that you don't understand and prices that make you ill. Many a business could learn a lesson from B & B Auto. Why does B & B get so many great reviews - simple ... they do exactly what they say they will, they do the job well, they do it on time and for an excellent price.Recently, I had two cars with issues at the exact same time. Gerry got one up and running in the same day, fixed the other and then came back to fix another minor issue on the first car. Absolutely remarkable service when I needed it most.If you are contemplating using B & B Auto - stop reading this and get over there! You will be happy that you did.

Excellent service. I had a problem with the temperature and with a caliper. They perfectly fixed both issues. Now my car is running safely. They did an excellent job with my vehicle.

Once again an awesome experience. Went in for an oil change and also they found a broken emergency brake cable as well as a bad lug nut. Fixed all of it and then brought out the parts to show me and explain what had happened. He even brought out the oil bottles to show me the oil he put in per my request.I highly recommend this shop because you don t find honest mechanics like him anymore.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Jerry, the owner, is fantastic. He treats his customers amazingly well and doesn't find extra things to fix. I've had good success with my service and repairs being turned around in a good amount of time for fair prices. If you're searching for a mechanic, please give this place a chance!

B & B Auto Repair was a great find. The owner Gerry was really helpful on a Saturday morning. Quick repair and fair pricing. Gerry is patient, honest, and explains everything. Highly recommend and will return!

My SUV was "rejected" at the emissions facility and we couldn't figure out what was going go. Gerardo not only fixed the problem - he took it for the emissions test and passed! Gerry is honest, helpful, and patient. He did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem and repairing. He did not take advantage of an elderly senior citizen. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!

Gerry has worked on my cars since I was 16 . 30 plus years later he still provides the best service . He is honest , reliable and very affordable. In the last few years he has helped me out in a pinch with my sons car . Can t tell you how much I appreciate Gerry and his team .

Jerry at B&B did a full head gasket repair on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. He did a phenomenal job, fixed a lot of other issues I didn't even know I had (broken intake bolts, stretched brake lines) to keep my and my family safe. My wife brought the Mazda in for oil change. This place just decided to replace the air filter and cabin filter too without letting my wife know how much those cost. Then, charge $145. I can change those filters by myself. Not an honest place.

I am an average DIY-er. I can do much of my own service no problem. But somethings are just things I either have no time to do, or I lack expensive tools to do in my garage. That is when I take my cars to Jerry at B&B. Never once has there been services recommended that were not needed, instead he is very honest and priced very well. I will only take my cars here as I want them fixed once and correctly. Jerry is one of the nicest people I have met in the automotive industry as I can tell he takes pride in his work. So far, each repair he has done for me has held up very well.

I must say, I am shocked to be writing this, I have had my car serviced here twice and the owner is wonderful, nice guy. But I knew nothing about the place when I moved to illinois this year. I went back to michigan recently and a family friend who has worked on our cars for years informed me that they overcharged me by double, and some of the work they did wasnt done correctly. B&B also sent me with a write up telling me what I needed work on, my mechanic in MI told me he looked everything over and that NONE of the issues other than a small oil leak were actually wrong with my car. I'm a 25 year old on my own and I really trusted this guy. I'm very disappointed.

first time taking my car here (2007 Charger 2.7L)..it had a misfire and a check engine light on...Gerardo diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in less than a day...i was worried that it might cost me an arm and a leg to fix but the price was more than reasonable plus when i went to pick it up he showed me in detail a front end problem that i need to have addressed soon..these guys are truly master mechanics who treat their customers like family...i will be taking all my vehicles there from now on...
