Frank did an awesome job on fixing our snow blower cup cadet 2 stage. He picked up and fixed it on time; he is very honest and reasonable also.

Frank did a great job repairing my Honda pressure washer after I left old gas in it and gummed up the carb. He gave me a quote over the phone and got it back to me the same day!In the shop, Dillon came out from the counter to greet me and offer help. Although young, he made me feel comfortable with his friendly approach as he set expectations for the repair and let me know in advance that they take cash or checks only for payment.When I came back to pick up the machine, Frank took time to explain the repair and gave me a few pointers for easy maintenance.I highly recommend this shop for the good people, great work, and reasonable prices!

Frank knows his stuff. I called Frank yesterday after I ran over a pipe with my lawn mower and it locked up. He diagnosed the situation quickly. Worked on it and was fixed within 24 hours. Thanks Frank for quick response and very reasonable pricing.

Called Frank on Thursday. Went over next day Friday at 11:30 and got my lawn mover repaired within 4 hours the same day. Frank provides great service. He is very knowledgeable, a great technician and knows his stuff. Highly recommended!

Frank is a knowledgeable & very helpful small engine repair expert! Took my 9 yr old lawnmower in one one day, discussed the problems w/Frank, who was able to immediately diagnose. He called and I returned to pick up mower the next day after complete carburetor rebuild. This mower hasn't run this well since its first season! Frank is great and has reasonable prices! Totally recommend this place!

I highly recommend bringing your lawn mower or snow blower to Frank. I brought in both of those and he got them running as new...no joke. He was completely fair, transparent, and offered advice of "what not to do's" and for when it is in storage. His service was extremely fast, as well. My mower was complete the day I dropped it off and my blower the next day (had to get a special part). Overall, I highly recommend taking a visit to Frank, he is extremely kind and genuinely enjoys what he does.

I called Frank (for the 1st time!) at 4:00pm to let him know my snowblower wasn't working, brought it to his place at 5:30pm, everything was cleaned and fixed (including a missing screw!) and running like new by 8:00pm! Incredible, absolutely incredible. He gave me some quick tips on how to maintain as well, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Franks Small engine repair service was top notch in our book! Called him after hrs last night for a lawn mower that didnt work and he fixed it today within 3 hrs it was done expertly and more! He is a pleasant and geniune guy! We will use Franks again!

I purposely waited a few weeks to write this review to see how well the lawn mower held up. Frank did an amazing job. It runs faster than before and it has held up and has worked great the last 2 months. Starts up with ease now too. I will go to him for all my small engine repairs now. He also had the work completed in about 2 hours and back to me same day. Can't beat Franks, that's why all the reviews are great. He is a nice guy and does great work. Highly recommend him.

I brought my snow blower in a bit early to beat the rush. They diagnosed it right away and gave me an estimate and were able to finish the work in a day. Frank truly cares about his customers and this is definitely the kind of small business you want to see do well because the take care of their customers. They did great work, promptly and for a great price and were even nice enough toHelp me get it in my truck. They even gave me some maintenance tips to keep it running great! Well done Frank! I'm definitely bringing all of my small engine machines here from now on!

Fast and great service. Had my snowblower back in a couple of hours of dropping it off. When others told me two or three weeks out.. I highly recommend Franks small engine repair.

I ve used Frank s services twice now and both experiences were better than I could have hoped for.The first time was last around 11/2013. I wanted to have my snow blower checked out because it did not start the year before. I was unhappy with another local place because of the price and time they took to repair my lawnmower in the spring of 13 so when my wife said she found another guy locally that had great reviews we figured we would go ahead and try it. It was great! I was able to bring it in to him that night and he had it all ready in less than a day. Not only did he tune it up he replaced some bolts that were missing and the thing performed like a champ during one of the coldest winters we have had that I can remember.So now when spring came around and my lawnmower stopped working in the middle of a mow (*just to note: I had paid $175 last year at a local shop to have them tune it and sharpen the blades and get it in working condition after sitting for 3 years) I didn t think twice but to bring it to Frank. When I got there and showed him what was happening he knew right away it was the carburetor. He asked if there was anything else I needed done to it and after I said no he said he could have it done that night (this was at 5:30pm). Sure enough he gave me a call at 7:30 and said it was all ready to go.His prices are great as well compared to what I paid at other places for much less service.Thanks Frank. You have a loyal customer in me!

Frank is simply put a genus at what he does. Fixed my snow blower better then it was when new. His prices and workmanship is far better then I expected. Goes beyond what other small repairs shops are NOT doing these days. And that is satisfying customers to their needs. If your in a bind and need it fixed the same day I would call Franks first. Great job all around. I'm highly recommending Franks for all your small engine repair needs. Thank you Frank for a wonderful experience.

Brought my parents rust bucket of a snowblower and within a day he had it running. The place is hard to find, but I called, and Frank himself picked up and gave easy directions. Used to be a store on lake st, now he works out of a garage on his property but the works still legit. Not only did he get it running but he cleaned the fuel lines and fixed a cracked one. Also explained the problem with patience and how to avoid it in the future. Carol Stream Lawn and Power have a 3 week turnaround time and Frank quoted a few days and delivered in 1. Cash payments, quick and professional, 5/5.

The last storm left us without power for over 40 hours, we were desperate! (those with septic fields and wells can identify with our desperation)Our generator had not worked in 8 yrs so I went online and just by luck, found the perfect person/place to get it working again.Frank was very professional, personable and in the perfect location, right off 390 and was priced right! I loved his phone voice and demeanor and I loved it even more when he said he could probably repair it that day. We took the generator in and 6 hours later our home was back to almost normal.He also had the best young employee, so nice, he helped load the generator back in my van, I just wish I could have brought him home.My husband and I have and will continue to recommend Franks to everybody.

I contacted Mr. Frank about issues with my snowblower. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon on a Friday. The store closes at 6 PM. I told him that I have no means of dropping the unit at his store. He sent one of his people to pick it up at my house . I was told the repairs would take a few days to be completed. Mr. Frank called me the next day and told me the unit is fixed. He dropped the unit off himself on Monday evening and operated the unit to show that all the issues were fixed. He gave me a few pointers on how to better use the snowblower. Great service. Great price. Timing was great as well. Overall, I am satisfied. I will continue using his services in the future. Thanks , Mr. Frank!

I continue to be impressed with the quality service and fair prices of Frank's Small Engine Repair! I am 'WOWED' every time I need to take my mower or snow thrower in for service. Frank is fast, thorough, and fair-priced. I will never take my mower or snow thrower anywhere else. I recently needed to take my snow thrower in for service during the most recent snow storms - I had it back the next day!!

Yes I went into Frank s small engine repair shop and spoke with Frank .what a great guy. Frank not only resolved my problems with my ariens Snowblower. but he also serviced My leaf blower. I have to say we need more people like Frank in the world. it s times like these when people are struggling and having a hard time.. Frank goes out of his way to help me and was so kind. I was low on cash And let him know I would have to come back another time and Frank said no problem and Serviced my equipment anyway. I asked him how much I owed him and he told me no charge. I couldn t believe it .he will always have my business and I will recommend my friends and family to go to see Frank .I give the man 10 stars for being so kind and considerate with these hard times. to do such a nice thing for a stranger. Frank s small engine repair has my blessings and my business what more can I say God bless you sir and thank you so much.

I can't believe the service I recieved from Franks Small Engine Repair. I had a snow blower that needed service because it wouldn't start and I tried to fix it myself and failed miserably. I called Frank and after dropping it off by him for a little over an hour, he called back to say it was ready to be picked up. He explained to me all that was wrong with it, and how to prevent it from happening again. He's very knowledgeable and thorough. He fixed it a very reasonable price. I'm very pleased with his service, and will bring him all my engine work.

Frank is highly professional, fast, friendly, with personal attention to detail and quality in his work. He went above and beyond my expectations by repairing my lawn mower quickly while I waited, and also educated me on proper care, use, storage, and was open to answering any questions I had. I thought my lawn mower's engine died as it was smoking and losing power. He restored it to like new operating condition in minutes and I was able to cut my lawn effortlessly and beautifully that same evening. I'm also getting my snow blower repaired by Frank. I highly recommend Frank to anyone needing prompt, reliable, and courteous service on their lawn mower and/or snow blower. You'll get much more than what you paid for.

I have a Cub Cadet 3X three-stage snow thrower with a 357cc OHV 4-Cycle engine. It's a very large thrower which several other places didn't want to touch. One other place "tuned it up" but it was not running the well when I got it back. I took it to Frank's and got it tuned up and a few other things fixed. It was done in a very reasonable amount of time for a very reasonable price. Better yet it runs awesome now! Very smooth and cuts through snow with no problem. We just had 10.8 inches of very heavy snow...cut through like butter. Even at the end of the driveway after a plow dumped a ton of snow and ice. Definitely recommend Frank's and I'm definitely going back for all my equipment needs.

To start things off, I normally don't write reviews. But this service deserves one, after leaving gas in my cub cadet snow thrower over the summer the carburetor was all gummed up and the machine wouldn't function. I siphon the old gas out with new gas plus a cleaner for the carburetor and replace the spark plug. After all else fails and on the verge of a major Snowstorm I start calling around to set up an appointment to get this thing fixed, resigning myself to having to shuffle 6-9 inches of wet heavy snow for a week or two. But lo, when all hope seems lost being told by Sears they don't work on cub cadets, I call Frank and thinking I would have to set up an appointment he tells me that I can just bring it in and he'll start working on it.After bringing the machine in with some help, I then learn from Frank, Yeah it should be ready in about an hour or two or ten to eleven the next morning. This man literally got the machine fixed within an hour after I dropped it off, saving myself and my family from injuring our backs from the snow. Plus to top it all off, he teaches me right there how to prevent this from happening in the future! To which I say, well done sir...well done indeed.

Frank's business is the foundation of what America was built on; small, local business that is accurate, affordable, and provided with that neighborly smile and professionalism that consumers expect.I took my Craftsman lawn mower to Frank:He was quick, completing the repair in 1 day!He was thorough. I do some of the small maintenance myself, many large shops try and nickel and dime you with spark plugs and unnecessary add ons. Frank only did what was necessary, saving time and money for his customer.Because Frank doesn't do anything not needed to get your machine up and running, his pricing was affordable and a true value for the service he provided.Professional and neighborly - Frank is a down to earth guy who is easy to work with, does great work (which he stands behind), and wants to help you.I highly recommend his services.

Last Sunday my husband went to mow the lawn and our refurbished Craftsman mower wouldn't start. I searched for a local repair service and found Frank's. Because of the positive reviews we decided to give him a call. Despite it being a Sunday afternoon he was available and more than willing to help us that same day. We dropped off our mower and within an hour he had it diagnosed and 30 mins later we picked it up. The price was very reasonable and I'd recommend him to anyone.

I've been to Franks Small Engine Repair with ALL my small engine machines for the past several years... Mowers, Snow Blowers, Chainsaws. He does excellent work even when I've been the one to mess up my small engine. Fair pricing for ALL his work and parts... and great turn around times... I would recommend him to everyone needing small engine repairs... He is very thorough and doesn't do anything just to jack up your repair price. Give him a try... you won't need to go any where else...ever again...

I found Franks Small Engine Repairs on Google, and read all the great reviews. I gave Frank a call and he was very nice and accommodating, I dropped my Toro lawn mower by his place a half hour later. He called shortly with a fair price and completed the tune up and repairs in short order (same day, Sunday no less!). I would recommend Frank's service to all my friends/neighbors.

My self propelled Toro decided to stop working as soon as my lawn was completely out of control. After a little research, we saw all the great reviews for Franks Small Engine Repair. I called Frank on a Sunday morning and he had my lawn mower repaired in a few hours. I was shocked. I had taken my mower to a well known hardware store a couple of years ago and it took two weeks to repair. I had to pay for the repair and for a lawn service to maintain my yard until I could get my mower back. I never thought Frank would get it back to me the same day. Thanks to Frank, I was able to get the lawn mowed by 4PM Sunday!

I recently purchased a used riding lawn tractor from Frank. It arrived in near pristine condition, with everything from the engine to the cut deck cleaned and operating smoothly. He was upfront and totally honest about the pros and cons of the machine. He delivered it to me on time and exuded professionalism throughout the transaction. Overall, it was a great experience and I will for sure use Frank's for all future repairs/purchases.

I brought my lawn mower there today for the first time. I HIGHLY recommend this place, and Frank. Told him it died mid mow and he made sure I got it back today while the sun was still out. Very fair price, very good service, and quality work. I felt like I was dealing with family!

Great Service! Frank is a super nice guy. Got my snowblower running the same day for 30 bucks cheaper than the local repair shop, which would have taken 2-3 days. Didn't know he was so close by, highly recommended and I will definitely use him again.
